We have always had friends watch our dogs in the past, but ran into a situation where this was not going to be possible. We found Jane here on rover and decided to have her over for an interview. Jane immediately set us at ease with her calming demeanor the way she was with our babies. Jane has now watched our dogs (and home) for us on multiple occasions - for as long as two weeks - or as short as a long weekend. She has been absolutely wonderful, and we will continue to utilize her on future trips. I left specific instructions for all of them and she made sure that she followed them perfectly. She also stayed in our home during hurricane Beryl. About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, frogs, turtles, fish, lizards, and geckos for around 30 years of my life. I've had of my own German Rottweilers, German Shepherd, Chihuahuas, Beagle, Fox Terrier, Min Pins, Australian Shepherd, Mutts, Siamese Cat, Calico Tom Cats, Albino Water Frogs, Chickens, Goats, Pig and even some fresh water fish. If I could I would have one of everything. I will walk, take to groomers or vet, play, feed, and bathe pets. I at this time do not have a job so my schedule is open within reason. I live in the back of Kingwood with my husband. I have my own transportation. I am unable to have any pets at this time, so I can come to you and your home. If you would prefer I am able to pick up your pet.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life. I know how to administer medication based on vet instruction. Can't wait to meet your family! Right now I'm looking for work before I head back to college. I'm available until August 20th but I plan to be back summer of 2026 I take it slow. Recently I helped my mom socialize a feral dog and now he's one of the most cuddly pups you could ever meet. It takes patience and a good heart. I won't rush your pets into trusting or liking me but I'll do my best to show that I am worthy of that trust.

About: growing up my family always had pets, I've watched family and friends dogs in my own home, I go to 2 peoples for quick visits, I was a kennel tech for about 3 years and love taking care of all sorts of pets. I've learned a lot from my previous job about medication, proper feeding, playtime and I've even learned how to properly bathe dogs and do nails along the way. my daily schedule as of right now is open, I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats all sizes. I am available Monday- Sunday anytime you need. I have a super friendly dog named Charlie and due to me not having a fenced in yard we normally just go on walks together on our quiet, peaceful street, he enjoys it as much as i do. If you don't have a very playful pup, I do have 2 boring cats who don't bother my dog or any of the other dogs I have watched.

About: I’ve worked with all size and age ranges of dogs for about 5 years now and raised my dog/cat on my own! I’ve also had experience with nearly every animal you could imagine while working on my Animal Science degree! I love to meet new pups and spend time with them as I would want someone to do for mine. I’m currently enrolled in college at Sam Houston but can always do evenings/overnights. Drop ins typically work with my daily schedule but it really depends on the day! Reach out any time with questions, I’m always available to chat with! Being extremely respectful of the space, I like to observe the animals favorite behaviors to adapt to their normal life. It’s not easy being home without mom and dad! The little things are important to catch onto such as water/food intake, which I have seen differ from typical routines.
