“Amy is truly a dog whisperer! My very barky and unsure husky mix warmed up to her within a few minutes and has been great for all the visits. Our other dog, a little beagle, has been a cuddle machine with her. I would recommend Amy with 10 stars if I could. We are definitely having her back!”

“Abby took care of Mochi attentively and punctually, following the instructions carefully. She played with Mochi and provided daily updates on his status. Communication between us was effective and timely. When I returned home, Mochi was healthy and happy. Thank you Abby for your great work!”

“Steven was great! You can tell he’s a animal lover. He watched my cats in my home for 3 days and it was amazing to get photos while i was away. I know i’ll be booking him again if he’s ever available to watch my pets again. He even convinced my anti-social cat to sniff his hand and come out of hiding which is huge for him. I feel bad that my house was a wreck from packing but he seemed to manage just fine. He also brought my packages in from outside which was super nice!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. I currently have a 1 and half year old dog so I’m very comfortable with puppies. I also helped take care of my older family dog so also able to help with senior care as well. I work from home Monday, Thursday, and Fridays and am available on the weekends to take care of your dog. During my time at home, I have ample time to drive to your house or take care of dogs at my house whichever is more comfortable for you. I have a fenced in backyard. I also have a super friendly dog who loves making new friends and would be happy keeping your dog company. I also have a large crate that I can put up if needed for the dog as well.

“Lindsay was awesome! This was our first night away from the dogs where we decided to leave them at home and have a drop-in dog sitter. I was nervous, but Lindsay did a great job and put us at ease. She checked in on our dogs 3 times and provided detailed updates and sent us photos during each visit. We’ll definitely have Lindsay watch our dogs again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of many animals in my life; dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, geckos, bearded dragons, frogs, turtles, fish, and more. I am also very good at taking care of senior animals or animals with special attention in general as I have lots of experience with picky eaters, sensitive diets, allergies, and medication. I am also CPR certified for dogs and cats in the case of an emergency. I am a very clean individual so I will keep your home neat while also providing loving care for your pet. I care deeply for all animals and can assure that your pets needs will be put first above everything else! I understand that schedules are tricky to maneuver so I am able to work whenever I am needed as long as I don’t have another pet care gig at the same time. I am very good at matching energy with animals so I can play with them for hours or take them on long walks if they are energetic or simply sit around with them with shorter walks if they are older. I am also really good at following directions so if you have special instructions for your pet, I will follow them perfectly! Otherwise I will use my knowledge on animals to assure that your pet is happy and healthy the entire time you’re gone!

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life. Having companions of various dog breeds and cats. As well as lizards and Guinea pigs. I also have fostered many different cats and dogs through the Humane Society for North Texas for the past 5 years and have done pet sitting for friends and family. I work full time so but can will always do my best to have time to care for and spend time with the fur babies throughout the day and adjust my schedules best I can. Whether stopping in before or after work. Or even-spending the whole days or weekends. I can definitely be flexible to meet the pets and families needs. My home has a fenced in yard and I would definitely be aware of any fencing at a clients home as well. Or any special cage/pet area they have. I love going for walks and getting outside and playing. My personal animals definitely have a routine, feeding and walk schedule to I would be attentive to whatever routine a client has for their pet.

“Amanda has been an awesone addition to my pets' care team! She had helped us out a couple of times before and then was available on a last minute basis which we really appreciated. My dogs LOVE seeing her which is important to me!”

About: I had a dog, Ace, for 12 years who passed away February 2020. He had a heart condition so I’m comfortable administering meds. He was a bully breed so I can also handle stubborn and slightly aggressive dogs. I give great scratches and cuddles! I am currently not working so I’m free all day. I will be moving in mid January so I won’t be in this area after that. I was a firm but loving dog owner so I will do the same for your pet. I love both dogs and cats and miss caring for one. I will give your pet all the love and care that I gave my dog Ace. I used to crate my dog during the day so I’m comfortable doing that for your pet if needed.

“Shawntil always does a wonderful job with our girls. She has been letting them out for daily walks for a while and we just love having her help. It is so appreciated to have someone who is a good communicator and very reliable to take care of them so often. They really enjoy her visits! Thank you so much for the amazing care you have for them ❤️”

“Hannah was a great help to us for dropping in for us, and was very considerate of our dog and cats. She had great communication and kindness towards them and our situation. When we came back, my dog was very energetic and the cats were still doing their thing, haha. Anyway, I loved my experience with Hannah and will definitely rebook her if available in the future!”

“Brianna quickly established a trusting relationship with both of my dogs. She has great intuition on what works best for them. My young dog was very calm around her. Brianna was able to modify her persistent clamoring for attention in only one day. I will definitely ask her to care for my dogs when I need help in the future.”

About: I absolutely love dogs and have been dog sitting for years for several different breeds and up to 4 dogs at a time. Every dog I take care of is like a new friend I love going on walks and car rides and just hanging out with a new furry friend. I don’t mind staying at other houses to take care of pets because it just makes it easier on them. I know it can be scary to leave a beloved pet at home but you can rest easy if I am there with them, I take care of them like they are my own! I work very part time and have a lot of flexibility with my time which means I can spend a lot of time with your beloved pets I prefer staying at the home of pets I am watching, it makes it easier on the animals and I am very comfortable in different neighborhoods and love going on walks with the dogs to explore the area. I don’t care about hair/fur on my clothes or in my car so I love taking dogs on car rides with me.

New Brighton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Reyhan was exceptionally attentive to our dog and we couldn’t be happier with the level of care they provided. They went above and beyond with communication, were highly attentive to detail, and sent so many cute pictures! We felt very confident with Arthur in their hands, and would absolutely recommend them.

Anaiah saved the day. Literally. I was experiencing some issues after a major surgery and the Rover person I had scheduled didn't show up so I was desperate. Anaiah was here in twenty minutes to take them out and then came back a little later to take them for a walk. I'm sooooo impressed!

This was my very first time using a pet sitter, and Pamela was really awesome. My goodness boy Kane seemed to do amazing and I really appreciated her updates and pictures. They really gave me a peace of mind while I was out of town. Will definitely be using her again no doubt!! Thanks again Pamela!!

Ximena a did a great job with our two dogs while we were away helping us with drop ins. She was attentive- asking pertinent questions regarding their needs, routines, cares and responsive with any questions we had. She provided updates with each drop in as well as lots of pictures so we knew our pups were thriving and well taken care of in our absence. We have a husky that can be an escape artist and were nervous to use an outside person and her attention to detail made us feel a lot better. We appreciated having her & would use her in the future.
