1. Nancy A.

“Recently her availability has been good. Always a good communicator and sends routine pics of our pets to check in. House is clean and tidy when we return. Meija gets her walks in and seems to enjoy hanging out with Nancy. Good job.”

2. Mel C.

“Mel was excellent with Rheia, our 4 year-old chow mix, from the first time they met and was consistently responsive, thoughtful, and thorough in caring for her and our home while we were away for a week. We came home to the happiest dog and the cleanest, most well cared-for home that we could have possibly expected. We’ll definitely work with Mel again both for house/pet-sitting and boarding. She even was flexible with extending our trip unexpectedly. Rheia often can be challenging when meeting new people, but she had absolutely no issues with Mel who was very adept at behavioral techniques to quickly befriend dogs that tend toward guarding. We feel secure and able to travel with peace of mind knowing we can rely on Mel to care for our furriest family member.”

3. Stacie M.

“Stacie responded quickly whenever I checked in. Our dog seemed happy when we got back from our trip! She helped do a few extra things at our house too with our chickens. Everything at the house was fine when we got back.”

4. Abigail J.

“Abigail is great! She is very intuitive of dogs needs and obviously has a strong knowledge of dogs and their tendencies. She's a veteran when I comes to being a professional dog caretaker. Definitely hope to be able to fit in her schedule again. Harper and Lady were lucky to have her! Thank you Abigail!”

5. Alex T.
“Alex is trustworthy, kind and thorough. She took excellent care of my two dogs, including my high maintenance 14 year old. I’m so happy I found her on Rover! Thank you Alex and thank you River.”

6. Sara M.

“Sara was very communicative and attentive! We had some last minute schedule changes and Sara was very gracious accommodating our change in plans. She and her pup were very sweet with our dogs. Would definitely book with Sara again!”

7. Avalon S.

“We recommend Avalon and will be requesting to book her for any future pet sitting needs. She is a great communicator, our pets loved her, and our house was in great shape when we returned. She let us know when she arrived at the house and sent us pics of our pets. While we were gone our cat got into a bag of dog treats I left out and Avalon let us know right away and checking in to see if any action was needed.”

8. Rene R.
“Rene' is reliable and dependable. She has taken care of my dogs numberous times and she does an excellent job. She is a caring and kind pet sitter and I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with pet sitting or house sitting. Sincerely, Brenda K.”

9. Berlin A.

“Berlin was great!! Super easy to coordinate with and accommodated some last minute changes for us. We loved that she brought her dog, Winnie, with her for our dog to play with and keep him company. We would definitely recommend and book with her again in the future!! 🥰”

10. Morgan S.
“Morgan is a kind, caring, and thoughtful person. She absolutely loves animals and is so intentional in how she interacts with them. She took amazing care of our high-maintenance dog, making sure he was safe, well-exercised, and loved every step of the way.”

11. Amy H.

“Excellent communication and photo/video updates, very friendy and easy to work with. I liked that 'Hina was the only dog they boarded; other places I saw had multiple dogs, rotating often, which concerned me. Thanks Amy, we'll be back!”

12. Mindy K.
“Mindy has been sitting with our dog Monti for a few years now. My wife and I take frequent trips back East to see our grandchildren and we always feel a sense of ease knowing that Monti is being well loved and cared for. Monti just adores Mindy and it is apparent how responsible and caring she is. She always sends frequent updates and photos, and upon our return Monti ia always happy and healthy. Could not recommend enough .”

13. Cynthia W.

“Cynthia was fantastic! She clearly loves animals and will care for your pets as if they were her own. She came over with a binder before her stay and took detailed notes on all the info she needed. She was a good communicator and shared photos of the dogs regularly. Our dogs seemed great when we returned and our house looked cleaner than when we left it. She’s a delightful person, a true professional and we can’t wait to ask her to watch our guys again!”

14. Charlie D.
“Charlie has been a reliable and trusted house and pet sitter. They've taken great care of our two young and rambunctious, somewhat high-maintenance Australian Shepherds, one that has to take twice daily medication for seizures, and our cat and fish. Charlie has watched our animals every time we've left town over the last two years, and we come back to a well-cared for home and pets. We're so grateful to be able to leave town knowing they are being loved and attended to by Charlie. We highly recommend her as your next pet sitter.”

15. Natalie W.

“Natalie was an awesome & thoughtful caretaker of my sweet Ollie Polly & home. As a farrier, I imagine she's great with all kinds of animals (my dog is pretty shy) and she left my space tidy. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a reliable sitter. Really grateful I was able to connect with her last minute and go on my trip!”

16. Katherine K.

“Katie was fantastic! She watched our 7 yr. old dog and our new puppy while we attended a family event. She took our older dog for a run, which was great because our older dog is so high energy! She also tended to our new puppy with great care. She definitely had her hands full for the day but handled them both with ease! It was a great experience for us and our dogs. We hope she'll be available again when we need a sitter. Thank you Katie ♥️”

17. Josette R.

“Josette did a perfect job with our lab. She sent plenty of pictures, took our pooch to fun outings by foot and by car, and easily stayed in touch. I’d definitely recommend her and we’ll reach out to her next time too.”

18. Malique T.

“Malique provided great communication while spending time with Roscoe. She is very nice, willing to go above and beyond, and I’ll reach out to her again in the future!”

19. Dana P.
About: I’ve had at least 3 dogs in my house for about 10 years. Currently my husband and I live close to downtown Grass Valley, Ca. I have 4 bedrooms and a medium to large fenced backyard. We currently have 2 females medium to large dogs in the house. Both dog friendly but I can make adjustments if needed. I can host 1 dog at a time at my house or as many pets as you have at your house. I’ve got a flexible schedule so with at least a day notice I can make it work! Hit me up if you need anything. I can stop by, walk, house sit or board. I have a flexible schedule currently but will need a day notice at least. I have other clients and a day job that allows me to be available but will need to bring a lab-top just in case. I have a fenced yard, it’s a little bit short though please see additional photos. If you’re dog is a jumper or climber we should talk about that.

20. Elle P.
“Elle has watched/walked and cared for our cattle pups numerous times. They absolutely love her because she showers them with attention and takes them on long trail hikes. We would definitely recommend her if your pet requires extra attention in your absence. Britt Carper”
