“Thanks to the amazing Ashley O. for taking such good care of my Bear boy over the past year or so. We are so sad it has to end. They have such a special bond, and Bear loves her so much. Thanks for all the adventures and photos, Ashley! We will miss you dearly.”

About: I have been pet sitting for as long as I can remember:) Pets have always been my family and I will treat yours with the most love and affection I have in me. I will send updates on your baby daily with lots of pics and treats. I believe in total positive praise with all animals, they are precious angels that deserve all the love I can give them! Use code MELG82053 to get $20 off your stay. Please use the code! I’m home all the time so I will take exceptional care of your fur baby! I absolutely will take care of your pet to your exact specifications. I love taking pictures of your pet so you will get lots! I enjoy taking many, many walks to help your pet feel comfortable and at ease with their new surroundings in my home. I do have my two dogs crate trained for sleeping and traveling so if you need help with that I can also help with training. I completely understand not all dogs are house trained and can accommodate. We keep pee pee pads on hand, please just let us know your kiddo needs them. We have kitties that love dogs, a chihuahua, and a corgi to keep your darling entertained! Tons of toys and treats will be available to your pet, as well as snuggles and cuddles. I keep Chu Ru treats and catnip on hand for kitties, and have duck treats, and biscuits for dogs. If I’m Housesitting for a week or more I will make your dog homemade peanut butter cookies. They are a favorite and all dogs seem to love them. Your home will definitely be cleaner then when you left it and I’m happy to help with laundry during my stay. Our home is very unique and we have a door separating our downstairs living areas from our upstairs living areas. That means if you have kitties, we can keep them in their own little apartment downstairs. They can be away from our pets and will be safe and comfortable in their own space. Please come over and check it out on a meet and greet if you would like! For doggy day care I look for fun activities in the community such as Pups and Pints at the local Kombuchary and 9am dog park meet ups if your pup is socialized enough to enjoy those activities. Please please please be aware that during the winter months my home gets up to 20 ft of snow and without a 4 wheel drive you can’t make it to pick up/drop off if we have trees down. This happens anytime we get snow. My home is at over 4000 elevation and we lose internet and power but we do have whole house generator so your darling will be cared for but may not be able to communicate.

Katya E.

Ryan P.
About: Taking care of animals is not only important to me personally, but it’s also my job! I’ve been a veterinary technician for a little over 4 years and pet-sat for about 3-4 years prior to that. My work schedule is rather flexible. I do prefer a day or two heads up in advance, but if I happen to be available the day of, I may be able to swing by and take care of your pet! My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you’re away! Nothing is harder for a pet than their best friend (you) away from them! If you have certain rituals you do with your pet, I will honor them.

Kellie V.

“Kellie did an absolutely amazing job caring for Dove. She is in rebel and I would recommend her to anyone.”

Amanda Amara E.
About: Hi ~ I hope you’re having a good day and that you’ll find the perfect fit for pet care. I’d love to help you take the best possible care of your fur babies. I currently don’t have any pets of my own so am that much more enthusiastic about engaging with yours! I’ve pet and house-sat intermittently over the last 10 years and have also worked as a live-in caregiver, so I understand how important it is to be reliable and how to care for both animals and humans. I’ve always had a deep love for taking care of and learning about animals. Growing up, I helped my mom care for our beloved cats, ensuring they were well-fed, their litter boxes clean, and they had ample playtime. I helped raise and care fore them from the early stages of kittenhood to their adult years. I also enjoy caring for all types of dogs, ranging from dachshunds to great dane mixes. Over the years, I’ve been entrusted by friends, family members, and even friends-of-friends to walk, feed, and provide comprehensive care for their precious fur babies, including scaly and feathered companions. From cats, dogs, birds, fish, and lizards to turtles, I have had the pleasure of caring for pets in their own homes while their owners were away for various lengths of time, ranging from short getaways to extended trips lasting months. During these periods, my priority has always been to ensure the animals are as happy as possible (as they do tend to miss their owners) while maintaining their regular routines as closely as possible. Beyond basic care, I’m experienced in administering medications and I love spending quality time with these wonderful creatures. I’m currently working part-time so have plenty of time available to walk, play and care for your pets. I have remote work flexibility to be available for overnight stays and daytime activities. I’m available to care for your pets in your home, for drop in for visits, and to walk them. When I’m with your pets my goals are to maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible so they feel relaxed and know what to expect and to ensure their needs are met. I’ve owned or lived with pets for most of my life. The few years when I didn’t were when I was working as a National Park ranger. During that time I still got to learn a lot about animal behavior from observing wild animals across the USA. This time spent with animals combined with my sensitivity and attention to detail add up to me being able to “tune in” with your fur-baby so I know when to interact and when to let them have space. Your and your pets’ happiness are important to me. I’m happy to play with them, bring them on their favorite walking route, and send you photo updates. I’ll be available via phone as needed while you are away.

Liz M.

“I had Liz walk my two puppies today and she was phenomenal! This is my first time using Rover and I was very hesitant, but Liz was very easy to talk to and personable. I highly recommend her and I will continue to have Liz walk my animals. She went above and beyond with sending me photos and keeping me updated and even let my other dogs outside for a potty break and some play time. I am extremely pleased with how she treated my animals as if they were her own!:)”

Nina T.
About: hi! My name is Nina N. I’m a 32 year old animal loving lady living in downtown Grass Valley! I’m a bodyworker, as well as Manager at Grass Valley Elixart. I finally moved into a home where I am allowed to have pets again! But because I don’t feel available for a full time animal in my life just yet, I choose animal sitting for friends and family, because I really enjoy having the furry friends around when I can! I’ve owned dogs, cats, birds, you name it! I love it! Please reach out to me with any questions. I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I work part time, most of my availability is long, weekends! I have a flexible schedule, though, so with the right agreement I can be open to more days! I have a small fenced in yard, and I’m a very active person, so I take walks regularly! I live a seven minute walk from condo and dog park, convenient for furry friends that like to be social! I have dealt with many different dog breeds, and those that also have behavioral issues, so I have a wide range of availability for all types of dogs as long as they don’t rough house too much or chew up all of my things. I’m very good at structured, walking and commands.

Cierra G.

“Aspen took the time to do a meet and greet with me and took the time to understand what he was familiar with. I came home to a happy, cared for pup!”

Mariana G.
About: Heyyyy my name is Mariana! Nice to meet you! I have been dog sitting for around a year for friends and family. I’ve taken care of a verity of breeds such as a beagle, Frenchie, Basset hound, Doberman, and more! When I dog sit I make sure to stay on top of keeping the pup fed, hydrated, and safe. Then we have heaps of fun running and playing around, going on adventures while on walks! Or have a nice chill day. I am a college student but most of my courses are online so I am free a good chunk of the day! I am free on the weekdays except for Monday and Wednesday and Tuesdays from 3-5 (I have 1 class) but after that I am able to help ya out. I treat everyone’s home with respect and make sure to treat it as if it were my own home. While dog walking I make sure the leash/harness is secure before going into a busy area. I also make sure to keep them close and make sure they feel comfortable by watching their behavior. Your pups happiness and safety is my top priority!
