Sana required extra sensitivity and daily car rides to a quiet cemetery to avoid overstimulation, which I was happy to accommodate. I’ve also house- and pet-sat for a senior couple, caring for two cats, two chickens, and managing a daily bird-feeding system for local avian visitors who were dear companions to the homeowner. In another sit, I tended to a rescue crow and her two cat companions for a full month while the owners were in India studying Vedic astrology. In many of these situations, I’ve also been responsible for watering plants, collecting mail, maintaining routines, and simply being a reassuring human presence in the home—keeping things running smoothly, lights on, and the house clearly lived-in while owners are away. I’m very comfortable accommodating unique requests and supporting both pets and homes with care and respect. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present and adapt my day around your pets’ needs. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, medication, playtime, and companionship, and I’m open to coordinating routines that support your pet’s comfort and wellbeing. I provide care in my clients’ homes, maintaining their pets’ normal routines and environment. I focus on calm, attentive presence, safety, and clear communication. About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and two cats, sometimes we do have a dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

About: Since 2023, my paid experience has included overnight and daytime home stays, for up to 24 hours at a time or weekly. Imagine a Mary Poppins for your beloved pets who provides the social and emotional support to buffer you during long getaways. Two walks daily, if needed, by forest or urban trail. I am here to ensure the proper amount of exercise. I am here to guide the fun, support the snuggles, and provide proper nutrition. Multiple types of animals welcome. I have passed numerous background checks as an elementary school substitute teacher. So I have full availability overnight, on weekends, and for extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. References on request. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7 am. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life—everything from Pomeranians and Shih Tzus to Rottweilers and Great Pyrenees—and I’m a cat person, too! I’m now based in Nevada City with my Shih Tzu, Radio, and would love to continue building connections in the community. I work remotely for a professional pet sitting company in Nashville, TN, where I also serve as the Event Manager for Rescue Puppy Yoga. Previously, I was part of the team at The Farmer’s Dog, where I gained extensive knowledge about canine health and nutrition. I am a full time traveling pet/housesitter with my 14 yr old pup. About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. About: Some of my earliest memories are of taking care of Queensland Heeler puppies in my outdoor playhouse. My parents were breeders & ever since then I’ve had a very special connection to dogs! I have taken care of many different types of furry friends from puppies to seniors, from chihuahuas to Belgian Malinois. I have also fostered rescues in my home from time to time. All while having two dogs myself! Looking to build a relationship with a few clients who need their pups walked daily/ boarded while they are away at work or vacation. I have experience with small dogs, large dogs, all different breeds and ages. Same with cats and other small animals. I am also stronger than I look, and have had a lot of experience with very large, very strong dogs... even with walking a few of them at a time. I trained my own dogs since I was about 10 years old, so I know how they think, and a lot about their behavioral functions. About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love.
