About: I have extensive professional experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals. I recently reactivated my Rover profile to expand my network since relocating! I’m skilled and intuitive about animal emotional and physical needs and have many references to offer. In addition to professional animal care, I took care of my beloved special needs cat Tails until he passed away at a very elderly age in 2023. My experience includes caring for senior animals and animals that require special care and/or medication. I have some light experience caring for farm animals (sheep, chickens) and would be comfortable learning more. In my other work, I teach kids, make music, and for many years was a medical caregiver to adult humans. Please contact me to arrange the timing of the care your pet needs. We will discuss your needs and schedule and work it out precisely. My schedule is different at different times of the year because of the nature of my other work as a musician and independent music lessons teacher. Regardless, I do about 60% of my work from home, online - and so when I housesit and stay overnight with your animals, I am able to be there for them the majority of the time and accommodate lots of walks, medication times, and whatever else you may need me to take care of for them during the day. I only offer care for pets in your home, and unfortunately cannot board animals in my own home at this time. I take the utmost care and caution while being a temporary companion for your animals. I require that all of the families I pet sit for leave adequate emergency contact information, such as vet info and emergency contact info if you will be out of cell phone range. A NOTE ABOUT BIG DOGS: Lately I have been getting a lot of requests for big dog care, which I absolutely love! However, please note that I am a 5’3” lady and therefore best suited to care for big dogs with a fair bit of training under their belts. I unfortunately cannot accommodate big dogs who are frequent jumpers. If you know this is true of your dog, I’m not the best fit. I also, unfortunately, cannot accommodate sleeping in the same room as big dogs or sleeping with them in the bed. Even though I love them! I’m just a light sleeper. Thanks for understanding. 90% of my big dog bookings are a perfect fit.

About: Hello! I'm a life long animal lover and have had dogs since I was 7. In my 20's I had a senior dog followed by two puppies, Roscoe who is now 11 and Jolene who is 5. I feel comfortable taking care of cats and dogs at any stage of life. I would love to spend time with your pets, walking them, playing, or snuggling. If your pet has any special needs to be met I'm happy to accommodate just let me know. I have also taken care of birds and rabbits, so if you have any other pets in the household I can help with them as well. I'm a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule. I'm available all day on Friday's and Saturday's. The rest of the week I'm available most days after 5pm just reach out to me if you need a service on a weekday evening. I respect your personal space and want your pet(s) to feel completely comfortable in your absence. I'm diligent in making sure their environment is safe (door, gate, etc. are closed properly) and I treat all animals with love and care. I will take care of your pets how I would take care of my own.

About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. On weekends we go on adventure hikes. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during the day. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.

About: Not only do I have 2 fur babies over 75 lbs making me experienced but I also have done a lot of training with them both. King had extremely bad separation anxiety and after months of training he’s become a lot more independent and calm making us both much more happy. If you’d like me to do some basic training with your pup while you are away on vacation, I can definitely do so. No worries if not, I’ll give your fur baby lots of love and play time! I know how hard it can be to go on vacation away from your babies but I will be making this time for your pup so much fun with walks, play time, and love! I also have cared for chickens, ducks, reptiles, and would be open to learning how to care for more of your farm animals! i am available mostly every day, reach out and I can let you know if it doesn’t work for me but it most likely will! I can crate train if you have a crate in your home (I cannot provide). I can also do basic training (sit, lay down, stay, etc..) if you would like, you must provide treats as I know many have food allergies.

About: I love being with all animals and especially older and disabled animals. I have my experience from working in Animal Shelters for about 2 years, doggie daycares, pet crematories and also petsitting for different companies and myself over 25 yrs. I am a full time traveling pet/housesitter with my 15yr old pup. I have the luxury of boarding dogs at my longterm housesit in Grass Valley during the summers. I have owned many animals throughout my life and have experience with meds, subQ fluids, end of life, aggressive dogs/cats and finicky pets. I'll treat your babies as if they were mine! Everyday, any time. A typical day for dog care is a 1 hr walk/hike in the morning, chill/snack/play, and then one more 1 hr walk in the evening. We go to a different location for each walk! I will follow all directions given in writing on how to care best for your sweet baby. I can do walks, playtime, exercise, training, massage and reiki and anything else needed!

About: Some of my earliest memories are of taking care of Queensland Heeler puppies in my outdoor playhouse. My parents were breeders & ever since then I’ve had a very special connection to dogs! I have taken care of many different types of furry friends from puppies to seniors, from chihuahuas to Belgian Malinois. I have also fostered rescues in my home from time to time. All while having two dogs myself! Looking to build a relationship with a few clients who need their pups walked daily/ boarded while they are away at work or vacation. About: Dogs are a valued part of my life, and I love nothing more than my own dog. I know many other people feel this way, which makes it extra hard to leave them. When you can’t be there for your dog, I’d love to help bring security and peace of mind to your time away from them. I bring my dog on as many adventures as possible, biking, skiing, hiking, running- and I’d love to bring yours along too, or at least harness that adventurous spirit in your backyard, neighborhood, or local walking trail. I'm working part-time from home and away from home. Reach out! My schedule is always changing it is likely that we can make it work! I prefer to care for your dog in your home, where it’s most comfortable for them. I provide on leashed, or very long leed, activities unless there’s a good deal of confidence from the owner and myself that your dog’s recall is conducive to creating a safe environment around other dogs and hazards.

About: Available for lots of belly scratches & walks!! Previous experience with drop ins at a boarding facility while the owner would go out of town. I have always had dogs and believe they are truly man’s best friend. My sweet senior chihuahua passed away in 2025 and a few months ago my beloved shih Tzu passed away. We are not ready to get another dog just yet, so we would be honored to love up on your pup in the mean time. My dogs have always been the highlight of my husband & I’s life. I am a registered nurse, herbalist and student of homeopathy. My husband works from home and I work outside of the home on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. I would love to chat with you regarding what I can offer and how I can help you and your dog(s)! My house has a fenced in back yard and I am close to a nature trail/walking path. My schedule is pretty flexible as of right now. Either my husband or I are usually home. If your dog is staying at my home, they will not be left unattended. We tailor our schedule to the dogs! I have a fully fenced in back yard and great places to walk in my neighborhood. I do not leave my dogs unattended while outside, so I can guarantee that I will always have eyes on your dog when outside.

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends.
