About: I have extensive professional experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals. I recently reactivated my Rover profile to expand my network since relocating! I’m skilled and intuitive about animal emotional and physical needs and have many references to offer. In addition to professional animal care, I took care of my beloved special needs cat Tails until he passed away at a very elderly age in 2023. My experience includes caring for senior animals and animals that require special care and/or medication. I have some light experience caring for farm animals (sheep, chickens) and would be comfortable learning more. In my other work, I teach kids, make music, and for many years was a medical caregiver to adult humans. Please contact me to arrange the timing of the care your pet needs. We will discuss your needs and schedule and work it out precisely. My schedule is different at different times of the year because of the nature of my other work as a musician and independent music lessons teacher. Regardless, I do about 60% of my work from home, online - and so when I housesit and stay overnight with your animals, I am able to be there for them the majority of the time and accommodate lots of walks, medication times, and whatever else you may need me to take care of for them during the day. I only offer care for pets in your home, and unfortunately cannot board animals in my own home at this time. I take the utmost care and caution while being a temporary companion for your animals. I require that all of the families I pet sit for leave adequate emergency contact information, such as vet info and emergency contact info if you will be out of cell phone range.

About: I grew up with a family of people and pets. I have always loved animals and always will. Often times my parents would leave the house for a get away. I am an only child so it would always be up to me to watch what was a big part of my life 2 cats and 2 dogs. It was something that was so natural to me being I grew up doing and my parents always trusted me with the duty. As of the moment I live alone with no pets and being lonely, would love to spend some quality time with a furry companion being I'm not allowed to own a pet in the apartment where I live. I have experience with both dogs and cats, small dogs, big dogs or any cat. Thanks.

About: I've taken care of street dogs of my childhood neighborhood and now I'm the proud father of 2 beautiful girls. I have an affinity for dogs but cats seem to have an affinity for me 😂. I LOVE walking the dogs as it is a treat for me as well. Can't wait to meet your loved one! I'm available full time and I am ready to work with you and your schedule! I'm dedicating myself to this so I can accommodate for almost anything I have a fenced yard and 2 female dogs who are very friendly and get along with other dogs. There's a yard for them to run around and a river closeby we can walk to if you're comfortable with them getting a little wet.

About: Some of my earliest memories are of taking care of Queensland Heeler puppies in my outdoor playhouse. My parents were breeders & ever since then I’ve had a very special connection to dogs! I have taken care of many different types of furry friends from puppies to seniors, from chihuahuas to Belgian Malinois. I have also fostered rescues in my home from time to time. All while having two dogs myself! Looking to build a relationship with a few clients who need their pups walked daily/ boarded while they are away at work or vacation. I am a new stay at home mom so my schedule is very open & flexible! I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for your pet and mine to run and play! I can also provide a crate in a spare bedroom for your pet if they need their own space. I am also very big on walks, me and my dogs go on a walk everyday! About: I have taken care of various dogs through the years. All sizes and ages. Usually love to take them on long walks and hikes around my neighborhood. I’m available to walk in the morning and afternoon. I am also available to take in pets for an over weekend or in home care. I like to walk dogs as often as I can or on very long walks. About: I’ve had my own pets (cats & dogs) for over 2 decades. My pets are my life! I currently have 2 Senior dogs. Im the go-to that sits for all of my friends’ pets. I’m comfortable with all ages of dogs and cats. I have no problem cleaning up messes or giving meds. I will treat your pups and kitties with all the love that I give my own. About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was just a baby, all my family members have had puppies and doggies and can always rely on me to watch them when they’ve needed it. On days that I am not working I would love to be walking or sitting dogs! I usually go for morning and sunset walks everyday so I would be happy to have a friend join me! Also am available to watch dogs while you’re away on vacation, just not at my house because I’m not allowed to have pets in my apartment. I will follow exactly how you’d like your dog to be taken care of! Just let me know how you usually do things with them and I’ll do the same, I’ve noticed it’s easier for the dogs because the are used to how their owner does things!

About: Available for lots of belly scratches & walks!! Previous experience with drop ins at a boarding facility while the owner would go out of town. I have always had dogs and believe they are truly man’s best friend. My sweet senior chihuahua passed away in 2025 and a few months ago my beloved shih Tzu passed away. We are not ready to get another dog just yet, so we would be honored to love up on your pup in the mean time. My dogs have always been the highlight of my husband & I’s life. I am a registered nurse, herbalist and student of homeopathy. My husband works from home and I work outside of the home on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. I would love to chat with you regarding what I can offer and how I can help you and your dog(s)! My house has a fenced in back yard and I am close to a nature trail/walking path. My schedule is pretty flexible as of right now. Either my husband or I are usually home. If your dog is staying at my home, they will not be left unattended. We tailor our schedule to the dogs! I have a fully fenced in back yard and great places to walk in my neighborhood. I do not leave my dogs unattended while outside, so I can guarantee that I will always have eyes on your dog when outside.

About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

My breed is Rhodesian Ridgeback. Experience in training, behavior modification, potty and crate training. Dogs shall only be crated if requested by parents. If parents allow, animals able to lounge on any furniture or dog/cat bed. Able to whelp litters and administer meds. Available for All breed grooming and nail trimming. About: Since I was a young child, I have been fond of pets, and as an adult, my affection for them has only increased. I'm passionate about getting to know the many kinds of animals. About: I’ve grown up with (and pet sat) tons of different animals! I can work with dogs, cats, horses, goats/sheep, birds, reptiles, rodents, you name it!
