About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.
“We are glad we found Logan in town! We needed a petsitter for the weekend, and Logan was available! She was great, took them on walks, send pictures and updates! We’d definitely recommend her for anyone who is looking for a pet sitter. Thank you Logan for the great care of our pets!”

“Aaron was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He made sure our dog felt at ease during merry and greet and drop off. We will definitely utilize Aaron in the future!”

“Koda and Sasha stayed with Grant for a week. Koda (lab) settled in right away, Sasha (basset/shepherd mix) took a couple of days, but the pictures tell the story; they appeared pretty happy and tired from playing. Grant is at the top of the list for the next time.”
“Our puppy had a 4-day stay with Nicole and Jarrod and she really enjoyed it. Being a high-energy breed, they made sure to keep her engaged and exercised throughout the stay. She was visibly tired when we picked her up, which means she had a great time. It's clear that Nicole and Jarrod are animal lovers and they made sure to integrate our puppy into their family during her stay. We also appreciated receiving daily updates and photos while we were away. We are grateful to them both for taking care of our puppy and giving her plenty of love and attention.”

“Yolanda was awesome!!! She provided my dog a mini vaca filled with lots of playtime and outdoor exploring! I highly recommend Yolanda’s services!! She was just what I expected! kt”

“Lainey loved her stay with Amanda! Amanda sent me lots of photos and kept in good communication. She took our dog out on walks and did lots of outside time with her. She was also flexible with pickup time for us!”

“What an amazing experience! Kelsey took such great care of my dog and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I loved all the photos and regular updates she sent. It was clear my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“Linda and Dan are wonderful, and their property is a Disneyland for dogs! I have a very attached dog and was very nervous to leave her. She did great, and Linda sent me lots of pictures and updates. I will always use Linda and Dan!”

“Ruby does a great job and communicates well. The pictures and videos sent daily are wonderful. I would recommend Ruby for dog care and we hope to use Ruby’s service again on future needs.”

“What an amazing experience! My puppy was so happy and came home almost sad to leave! The daily updates and pictures put my mind to ease! Thank you, Diane for treating him like family!”

“Jane, her partner, and their dog Journey were wonderful hosts for my pup. She worked hard to help Enzo feel at home and loved while I was away. I will definitely be a repeat client.”

“Very nice experience for us. This was the first time I’ve had to board my dog and I was worried about her reaction to being alone. Samantha kindly reassured me that she would be okay. There is a large fenced area for off leash play time. Blondie was taken on long walks and was bedded down in a stall in a former stable. She had a cozy bed and a heater. When we picked her up she looked happy and comfortable. We are very satisfied with Samantha’s kind care of Blondie.”

“Debra was wonderful. I was half was around the world & never worried about my boy. She sent lots of pictures & updates, which kept my mind at ease & allowed me to enjoy my trip. I have trouble finding people to watch my boy because Chow Chow’s have a bit of a bad reputation, even though mine is sweet as can be. She didn’t hesitate & I’m so grateful. Would use her services again & again. 🐾”

“Pam took wonderful care of Susie !!! I couldn’t be more pleased with her and will definitely have Susie stay with her again. One of my favorite comments was that she treated Susie like a Grand Dog. That was just what I wanted to hear. I would highly recommend Pam !!!”

“Anna watched my 6month old kitty, Glacier. She sent pictures and regular updates and my kitty seemed to enjoy having a new place to explore and play in! She was clearly well taken care of.”

About: I’ve taken care and been around cats since I was little. I’m extremely in tune with their quirks and reading what they’re okay and not okay with. I’ve had 3 of my own cats, male and female. I know how to give oral medications and injections.
“Anna took excellent care of Bubba while we were away for a weekend. We came home to a happy, well-fed cat. The photos were great and we could tell he had a great time when she stopped by. Would recommend Anna anytime! Thanks!”

“Annie is a wonderful pet sitter. My two nervous dogs fell in love with her immediately and she has been a huge help to me in managing their anxiety and training issues. She is flexible, loving, and patient with the dogs and can be firm when she needs to be. Annie has been doing drop-in visits at my house and is punctual, friendly, responsible and professional. I am happy to recommend Annie's services to any other prospective clients - she is a delight to work with!”

“Morgan was exceptional from start to finish. Wrigley was lovingly cared for, and I appreciated receiving regular updates and photos. My apartment was left spotless, and my tomato plants were watered, just as I requested. I felt completely secure having Morgan stay at my place and look after everything. As someone who tends to get nervous leaving my cat with new people, Morgan's kindness and professionalism truly eased my concerns, and she did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Morgan to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: Hello! Thank you for taking interest. I am an animal lover who is trying to make some extra money doing something I care about. I've been housesitting for about 4-5 years for mostly dogs and cats, but I have had the occasional snake or fish, even a pig once! I'm very excited to meet you and your pets!

“Jillian was great! She ensured Sunny was well looked after and at ease during the fireworks, and she kept me updated with numerous photos of their brushing and cuddling sessions. It's clear that they had many exciting outdoor adventures, given that Sunny is an outdoor cat. Jillian ensured his food and water dishes were always full, provided plenty of tuna snacks, and even cleaned his litter box. Considering the way they interacted in the videos, it's evident that they share a special bond. I wholeheartedly recommend Jillian and will definitely hire her again.”

“Matias is an excellent communicator. I felt so confident and safe leaving my two kitties in his care. I got regular updates and photos and his response time to inquires about my babies was usually immediate but always under 10 mins. I even feel like my house was cleaner than how I left it. Would 100% have Matias stay in my home again.”

“Cynthia did an excellent job. We were able to enjoy our vacation because she provides dependable care. She followed all of our instructions. We will use her services again.”

“Cydney was immensely supportive. When I booked, my cat was healthy. When the time came, Cleo needed way more care. Cydney stepped up and covered everything like a professional. I'll have her back.”

About: I have experience with dogs and cats for my whole life. I can take your dog for walks and I can drop by and check on them, play with them, feed them, anything you need. I am definitely open to taking care of puppies as I have a puppy and kitten of my own, they are my pride and joy. Just know that you’re fur baby will be given excellent care as if they are my own. I work full-time, 7:30-5:30 Monday to Thursday. On Monday through Thursday I can care for your animals before 7AM and after 6PM. Friday through Sunday, I make up to three visits per client per day. The first visit is made between 6AM-8AM, the second visit is made between 12PM-2PM, and the last visit is made between 6PM-8PM. Walks during Monday-Thursday are done after 6PM unless otherwise agreed upon. Other than those days, walks are done either in the morning or evening, never in the afternoon to ensure it is not to hot for your animal. Unfortunately I do not provide service in my own home. All animals will be given care in their own home to ensure no stress or anxiety is provoked upon them from being in a new environment with new people/animals. Your animals safety, health, and well-being are my largest priorities. During walks, we will never be walking along busy roads/highways. Your animal will be leashed (as it is law in California) at all times and will never be taken into unsafe areas.

“Natalie did a great job of taking care of my 3 pups and kitties while I was away for the weekend. She was very caring and communicative, and clearly loves animals. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Paola took such good care of our 15 year old kitty! Our house looked spotless as well, which I know wasn’t luck. Our kitty tends to struggle with hairballs! Paola spent at least 30 minutes on each visit, playing with the kitty and chasing away her loneliness. It’s so comforting to know that someone truly cares for your pet while you’re away on a trip. That’s how we felt about Paola.”

“What a great environment for my dog. The backyard is a dog's dream, especially if your pup likes to run. Yolanda was very accommodating when I was delayed and kept me informed of how Beau was doing during his stay. I would highly recommend Yolanda and her Doggy Day Care.”

“We came to Nevada City for a wedding and needed to find daycare for our dog Buckeye. Aron had wonderful revues and lots of repeat customers, so we felt good about leaving Buck with him. It was a great experience and Aron was as wonderful as his revues. We especially enjoyed receiving photos of Buck enjoying himself in the wading pool while we were at the wedding. Buckeye had a great time with Aron and his other dog charges and was a happy and tired boy when we picked him up. We highly recommend Aron.”

“Louisa was extremely flexible and accommodating to our last minute needs. She was very sweet and kept us updated with photos which, as new puppy parents, we loved!! Thanks Louisa:)”

About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. On weekends we go on adventure hikes. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during the day. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.
“Katya provided a safe, comfortable, happy play stay for our 20-month-old golden retriever. Mattie loved playing with Dewi and Mishka! Katya's calm demeanor put our girl at ease right away. You can tell that she is a dog lover who understands how to take charge while still having fun. Definitely will use her services in the future!”

About: Hi, we are Molly, Massimo and Zali. We've had dogs in our families and had taken care of pets of all kinds since we were kids. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on us to walk, feed and care for their pets of all shapes & sizes. We use positive reinforcement for training and pride ourselves on having trained Zali & other dogs basic commands, to walk both on & off leash, plus some fun party tricks. Our favorite “trick” is to ring a bell to go outside. On rainy days, we play hide & seek games with toys & treats around the house to make sure we’re all still getting plenty of stimulation. We’re still unsure who’s more entertained, us or the dogs, when they’re are searching for their reward ;) We are enthusiastic hosts & look forward to meeting you & your pup! We work from home and begin each day with a good romp in our big back yard and a long neighborhood walk. Our yard has plenty of shade and running water. Doggos and humans alike love it here 💓🐶 We live on a 2 acre fully fenced lot and have a sweet, 5 year old female boxer mix that will keep your dog company. She happily shares her toys; playing with other doggo friends & sunny naps are some of her favorite pastimes. While she is a large and playful dog, she is able to match any dogs level of excitement and play.

“Leslie was my kind of people, AND my doggos' kind of people! She was patient with my anxious guy Walter and delighted in the antics of our puppy Dolly. She was lovely about my concerns and allowed me to sit with the dogs to ease into the stay and socializing with her dog Daisy, who was gracious about the energy my dogs have! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Leslie!”

About: I grew up around dogs of all sizes and breeds, and have always, always loved dogs! I volunteered at the SPCA for 2 years: walking and caring for dogs in the adoption centers. I work at home, so I have ultimate flexibility during work weeks and weekends. I am happy to take dogs on as many walks/runs/breaks as needed. I am in good shape, and I can handle larger and more energetic breeds. My neighborhood is dog-friendly with plenty of streets and dirt trails to the lake to walk or run on. Dogs are of course allowed inside and can hang out with me all day. I have experience working with dogs with medical conditions and disabilities. Our house is currently dog-free so I have extra time to give your dog(s) extra love.

“Morgan was great with my dog! She was patient and kind with my insecure pup, who can be a little shy around new people. I really appreciated the care she took to make her comfortable.”

About: I offer calm, attentive care for pets, with a steady presence that helps animals feel safe and settled. • Experienced with dog walking, feeding, and drop-in care • Calm, attentive, and intuitive with animals of all temperaments • Comfortable with routines, medications, and special needs • Reliable and respectful in both short visits and extended care Over the past several years, I’ve immersed myself in house and pet sitting, earning a reputation for reliability, cleanliness, discretion, and a calm, responsible presence. I’m often entrusted with extended and live-in care, and I take stewardship of both pets and home seriously. I’ve cared for a wide range of animals and situations, including long-term dog sitting for a couple over several years, from weekend trips to multi-week stays. Before a period of travel abroad, they even flew me to Portland to care for their dogs, Sana and Osa, and their cat Ninja during a three-week wedding trip to Mexico. Sana required extra sensitivity and daily car rides to a quiet cemetery to avoid overstimulation, which I was happy to accommodate. I’ve also house- and pet-sat for a senior couple, caring for two cats, two chickens, and managing a daily bird-feeding system for local avian visitors who were dear companions to the homeowner. In another sit, I tended to a rescue crow and her two cat companions for a full month while the owners were in India studying Vedic astrology. In many of these situations, I’ve also been responsible for watering plants, collecting mail, maintaining routines, and simply being a reassuring human presence in the home—keeping things running smoothly, lights on, and the house clearly lived-in while owners are away. I’m very comfortable accommodating unique requests and supporting both pets and homes with care and respect. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present and adapt my day around your pets’ needs. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, medication, playtime, and companionship, and I’m open to coordinating routines that support your pet’s comfort and wellbeing. I provide care in my clients’ homes, maintaining their pets’ normal routines and environment. I focus on calm, attentive presence, safety, and clear communication. I’m comfortable administering medication, managing feeding and exercise, and keeping the home clean, secure, and lived-in while you’re away. I treat each home and animal with respect, discretion, and care.

About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.
“I’ve been meaning to write a review for Anna for a while now but life got hectic! I’ve used her quite a lot in the last few months for both dog sitting at my place and random walks here and there. Anna is so sweet and gentle with my senior dog who requires daily meds, diaper changes and just the overall sensitivity and care senior dogs need. She keeps my place nice and clean and is respectful of my space while she is there. She is quick to respond and sends daily updates on my Benny. We are so glad we found Anna and will continue to have her be our number 1 dog sitter.”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life—everything from Pomeranians and Shih Tzus to Rottweilers and Great Pyrenees—and I’m a cat person, too! I’m now based in Nevada City with my Shih Tzu, Radio, and would love to continue building connections in the community. I work remotely for a professional pet sitting company in Nashville, TN, where I also serve as the Event Manager for Rescue Puppy Yoga. Previously, I was part of the team at The Farmer’s Dog, where I gained extensive knowledge about canine health and nutrition. While my primary role is administrative and remote, I regularly provide dog walking and pet sitting services in Nashville as well. I’m Pet CPR certified and hold multiple FetchFind certifications. I’ve been working in the pet industry for as long as I can remember, starting as a dog walker and pet sitter in my early teens. Over the years, I’ve built my client base through both word of mouth and professional pet care companies, gaining well-rounded experience and a deep commitment to quality care. Pet care is all I do! My small dog Radio just has to fit into that routine as well if house sitting. I have 24/7 availability unless I am booked. I’m available to care for your pet for as much as you need given the scope of each service. While highly unlikely, the longest I would allow a pet to be alone is 4 hours when pet sitting.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and currently share my home with two wonderful, energetic husky-shepherd mixes. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of fostering several dogs and caring for many different breeds. I’ve dog-sat for multiple clients and have references available to vouch for my care. In addition to pet sitting, I worked at a kennel for two years where I cared for over 25 dogs, handling everything from basic kennel duties, veterinary care, and some light dog training. I’m passionate about understanding each dog’s unique needs and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. Whether it’s a walk, a visit, or extended pet sitting, I’m here to ensure your dog gets the love and attention they deserve. Spending time with animals is truly what makes me happiest, and I’m committed to giving your pets the best care possible! I currently have a very open schedule, and am available at all times. If your pup can’t be left alone I can work around your needed schedule Your dogs will receive plenty of love and ample outdoor time. I want to make sure they’re happy and healthy while you’re away, and follow your pups daily routine so they don’t even realize you’re gone. I’m well-versed in handling any emergency that may come up, with extensive experience in managing various medical situations. I’ve cared for dogs with health conditions and am fully equipped to handle their needs. When pet sitting, I’ll make sure to accommodate both you and your dog’s specific requirements, following all guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
About: I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I have experience with a wide range of animals and personality types starting from a young age. I have a flexible schedule and can work from anywhere with decent internet, so your animals will benefit from an attentive, experienced carer who goes the extra mile to make sure they are safe and comfortable. I have experience with all sizes and ages of dogs and cats, as well as farm animals. I can work with special medical needs or elderly pets.
“Natalie is kind, consistent and reliable. We’ve been very lucky to have her skillful, calm, presence assisting with daily walks and positive reinforcement training for our high energy pup, Kai.”

About: Hi! My name is Ayla and caring for animals and people has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember.I am currently a nursing student and someone i want you to feel comfortable in your home and with your pets. I have been fostering dogs since I was a kid, which gave me experience with all kinds of personalities—from shy rescue pups to high-energy dogs who love to play. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, including rescue dogs that may need a little extra patience. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands! I am currently available full time and can do both over night and day time check ins! I do have dogs of my own that i will need to come and check on while my brother is not home but otherwise can accommodate to the needs of your pet! I am very comfortable with all types of dogs and behaviors and am willing to accommodate to the needs of your dogs! My dogs are both indoor and outdoor with a gated in yard. Do not mind crating, walking, or feeding tempered dogs as long as warned prior.
About: Hi! My name is Ella. I love all animals. I am a Cal Poly Pomona Graduate with a BS in Apparel Production as well as I have my 200hr Yoga Certification. I had two Labradors growing up. I am very good with training and using treats for techniques/training etiquette. I love going on walks, but miss having a walking buddy. I am originally from Northern California but have been in Southern California for 7 years. Well-trained animals preferably, with commands:). I love all dogs, big and small, young or old. Your dog will love me. Please let me know if they have any allergies, or any special toys/ harnesses as well. Can’t wait to meet your pup and you. I am very sociable as well! Feel free to ask questions! I can also transport myself or your pup when needed. I have a three-year-old cat named Phoenix. He likes to be brushed and gets treats of course before the brushing 3/4 times a week! I think hygiene is very important when living with animals. We are still working on Phoenix's leash comfortability. But I am willing to fit walks with your dogs into my daily routine if you will have me! I have been missing walking, playing, training, and giving dogs treats ever since becoming a cat mom. I am a very organized and clean person. I vacuum twice a week or more with having a cat, and a rug that he loves to play on. I clean Phoenix's water and food bowls twice a week or more so as to not have any build-up or potential for mold/fungus/bugs. Cleaning his litter box every couple of days is a necessity for me as well as disinfecting the box every other week or more, depending on the week :).
“Sarah has been awesome with our two dogs, one being a puppy brand new to the house and the other very shy and submissive. I loved the descriptions of her time with them and her fast response time. I would 100% recommend her and will continue to use her.”

About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

“Anna watched my 6month old kitty, Glacier. She sent pictures and regular updates and my kitty seemed to enjoy having a new place to explore and play in! She was clearly well taken care of.”

“Leslie and her husband treated our Sherman as one of their own! He had a great time playing with their pup and enjoyed getting all the special attention! With the numerous pics taken I can tell he was on his very own vacation! Definitely recommend Leslie!”

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a friend for the passed 3 years. I can handle giving medication and large dogs. I'm a Preschool Teacher during the day looking to help where I can. 😊 I work Monday through Friday, however I'm off fairly early at 3:30pm everyday so afternoons, evenings, and weekends are free. I have no pets anymore so they will have all the attention! There is a lovely creek that runs through my complex for walks and plenty of toys and energy! And for the older furr babies they are more than welcome on the furniture for cuddles. I also have treats if they are okay for their diet 😊 I have experience with giving medication as well if need be.
“Alexis's place is in a secluded and safe place with huge lawn and play area for dogs. She is extremely patient and kind with older dogs like ours and has shown willingness to go the extra mile caring for them. Hidden gem and definitely recommendable.”
