About: I was a dog walker back in college and loved getting to see my animal friends on a regular basis. I have more experience with adult and senior dogs but I can’t say no to a puppy! 🫶 I’m available usually after 10am and can drop in anytime. About: I've been around pets my whole life. When I was little, we had a mini labradoodle named Roxy and a cat named Snickers. I remember watching Cesar Millan and training Roxy to sit and to heel while walking. As I got older, we got more cats that ended up having kittens, and at one point we had 12 cats! Now, when I'm home from college, I help take care of two golden retrievers and a poodle that we have, as well as cats and chickens. I have a big heart for animals. I enjoy petting them, playing fetch with them, making sure they sleep well at night and feel loved. It would be an honor to meet you and take care of your pets! For the summer I'm currently studying for the MCAT which I take end of August. Because of that, my schedule is pretty free, and I don't have any job or school responsibilities to pull me away from giving pets the best care possible. I'm available to hang out with your pets while I'm studying, and make sure they have everything they need. Our poodle at home is getting old and has Cushing's disease, which makes her bones quite fragile. As such, I would prefer to watch your pets at your house. I'm happy to walk or play fetch with dogs, pet your animals, feed them and make sure they have water, and whatever else you do to keep them happy.

Jordan was nothing short of phenomenal! I work from home and Archie is used to me being home a lot so Jordan shifted his schedule around to make sure that he was able to stay at my home as much as possible. He was super communicative throughout his entire stay, constantly kept me in the loop of things, and gave me lots of updates. Another thing I really appreciated was how punctual he was! About: Hello! Thank you for taking interest. I am an animal lover who is trying to make some extra money doing something I care about. I've been housesitting for about 4-5 years for mostly dogs and cats, but I have had the occasional snake or fish, even a pig once! I'm very excited to meet you and your pets! I work 9-5 Mon-Thur and I have half days usually ending around 2 on Fridays. I usually will have time on my lunch break to come home and check on my own pups and make lunch so I can guarantee pets will be well looked after. I am always willing to take dogs on walks and hikes or just play at home, whatever makes you most comfortable! I adopted my large breed dog from the shelter, after he had lost his home of 7 years due to no fault of his. I had been told he howled all the first night in the shelter. When it was time for us to go out of town, I did a test board at a small boarder, thinking it would be less traumatic than a regular kennel, but he had a full-scale panic attack. The boarder suggested a home sitter. The first person we interviewed for a home sitter didn't work out, not a good match. What interested me in Caja was her experience in behavioral techniques, which I had found worked really well with our dog in helping him be calm and relaxed. After meeting Caja, our dog loved her. He behaved as if she were our daughter, who is away at college. Calm, in charge, playful, everything he loves. Caja took excellent care of our dog and cat, and we were so happy our dog was relaxed in his own home. I also found Caja receptive to hearing what behavioral techniques we used, and in reviewing the Halti collar we use with our dog. I will call Caja first whenever we next need a house sitter. We totally trust her with our house and pets. It was very easy to keep in touch with texting for status checks.
Our animals (and us too) feel spoiled when Louisa is taking care of them and our home when we are away. We know they are well tended to and loved. She sends photos that capture how happy our 4-legged family members are. And, the house is cleaned when we arrive home.
We desperately needed a dog sitter at the last minute, and I’ve never had a dog in my life so I had absolutely no idea who to turn to. We needed someone to watch our dog while we were in church, but everybody we know goes to church! So there was nobody we could ask to look after the puppy. Brie was amazing.
