About: I have taken care of and grew up with all kinds of small, medium and large dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, birds, rodents and more. I am signing up for Rover as I love animals and can’t have a per where I live and would love to help care for yours. I live in Nevada City CA and can travel to Lincoln, Roseville or Sac if you’re able to help with reasonable gas compensation. I miss my former roomie’s doggo (Ollie the Shiba Inu featured in many of my pics) sooo much and would love to care for your dearest animal family member. I grew up with animals and have professionally taken care of dogs as a dog walker, as a paid house and overnight dog sitter and cat sitter, and have caretaked for long periods of time professionally for friends’ and many different roommates’ dogs and houses. I love ALL animals and happy to also care for your exotic pet - lizards, geckos, snakes, rats, fish, horses (I love horses too and have some but limited horse care experience). - I literally love all animals! I have volunteered at an exotic zoo doing animal care and feeding, cleaning the cage for several months and even studied abroad in college and lived in Kenya Africa for 3 months to study wildlife management. Fun fact - I got to hold and feed a baby sloth as part of this. I have a flexible and open schedule presently as and am looking for work and pet sitting opportunities. I would love to work with animals that I can continue to build a relationship with - like be your regular dog walker, or maybe you live here part-time and want support for your cat while you’re out of town. I don’t think I’m allowed to have dogs or cats at my Studio apartment, so sadly can’t board your animal. “Ginger was fabulous with our family of furry kids while we were on vacation. We have 2 large dogs and 2 indoor cats and came home to happy pets that had clearly been well loved by "Auntie Ginger" while we were away. About: I grew up with dogs and helped raise two labs (a chocolate and a yellow) with my family. For boarding in my home, I do require that dogs are potty trained. If you’re still working on potty training, I’m more than happy to support that process in your home. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.
