About: I have extensive professional experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals. I recently reactivated my Rover profile to expand my network since relocating! I’m skilled and intuitive about animal emotional and physical needs and have many references to offer. In addition to professional animal care, I took care of my beloved special needs cat Tails until he passed away at a very elderly age in 2023. My experience includes caring for senior animals and animals that require special care and/or medication. I have some light experience caring for farm animals (sheep, chickens) and would be comfortable learning more. In my other work, I teach kids, make music, and for many years was a medical caregiver to adult humans. Please contact me to arrange the timing of the care your pet needs. We will discuss your needs and schedule and work it out precisely. My schedule is different at different times of the year because of the nature of my other work as a musician and independent music lessons teacher. Regardless, I do about 60% of my work from home, online - and so when I housesit and stay overnight with your animals, I am able to be there for them the majority of the time and accommodate lots of walks, medication times, and whatever else you may need me to take care of for them during the day. I only offer care for pets in your home, and unfortunately cannot board animals in my own home at this time. I take the utmost care and caution while being a temporary companion for your animals. I require that all of the families I pet sit for leave adequate emergency contact information, such as vet info and emergency contact info if you will be out of cell phone range. A NOTE ABOUT BIG DOGS: Lately I have been getting a lot of requests for big dog care, which I absolutely love! However, please note that I am a 5’3” lady and therefore best suited to care for big dogs with a fair bit of training under their belts. I unfortunately cannot accommodate big dogs who are frequent jumpers. If you know this is true of your dog, I’m not the best fit. I also, unfortunately, cannot accommodate sleeping in the same room as big dogs or sleeping with them in the bed. Even though I love them! I’m just a light sleeper. Thanks for understanding. 90% of my big dog bookings are a perfect fit.

Before a period of travel abroad, they even flew me to Portland to care for their dogs, Sana and Osa, and their cat Ninja during a three-week wedding trip to Mexico. Sana required extra sensitivity and daily car rides to a quiet cemetery to avoid overstimulation, which I was happy to accommodate. I’ve also house- and pet-sat for a senior couple, caring for two cats, two chickens, and managing a daily bird-feeding system for local avian visitors who were dear companions to the homeowner. In another sit, I tended to a rescue crow and her two cat companions for a full month while the owners were in India studying Vedic astrology. In many of these situations, I’ve also been responsible for watering plants, collecting mail, maintaining routines, and simply being a reassuring human presence in the home—keeping things running smoothly, lights on, and the house clearly lived-in while owners are away. I’m very comfortable accommodating unique requests and supporting both pets and homes with care and respect. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present and adapt my day around your pets’ needs. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, medication, playtime, and companionship, and I’m open to coordinating routines that support your pet’s comfort and wellbeing. I provide care in my clients’ homes, maintaining their pets’ normal routines and environment. I focus on calm, attentive presence, safety, and clear communication. I’m comfortable administering medication, managing feeding and exercise, and keeping the home clean, secure, and lived-in while you’re away. About: We have a giant 1.5 acre fenced in yard, Perfect for your doggo to run and play while you’re away! I have been caring for animals my entire life and have had dogs and cats since I was five years old. I previously owned three dogs at once and have experience with both large and small breeds. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring health needs, and providing attentive, responsible care. I truly love animals and understand that each pet has their own personality, energy level, and comfort needs. Inside our home for night time sleep overs, we keep the couches covered and welcome all the pets into our lives with our cozy fireplace and 2,000 sq ft home.

About: Some of my earliest memories are of taking care of Queensland Heeler puppies in my outdoor playhouse. My parents were breeders & ever since then I’ve had a very special connection to dogs! I have taken care of many different types of furry friends from puppies to seniors, from chihuahuas to Belgian Malinois. I have also fostered rescues in my home from time to time. All while having two dogs myself! Looking to build a relationship with a few clients who need their pups walked daily/ boarded while they are away at work or vacation. I am a new stay at home mom so my schedule is very open & flexible! I have a fenced yard and plenty of space for your pet and mine to run and play! I can also provide a crate in a spare bedroom for your pet if they need their own space. I am also very big on walks, me and my dogs go on a walk everyday! Plenty of treats & pets will be provided as well as updates & photos to you!

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was just a baby, all my family members have had puppies and doggies and can always rely on me to watch them when they’ve needed it. On days that I am not working I would love to be walking or sitting dogs! I usually go for morning and sunset walks everyday so I would be happy to have a friend join me! Also am available to watch dogs while you’re away on vacation, just not at my house because I’m not allowed to have pets in my apartment. I will follow exactly how you’d like your dog to be taken care of! Just let me know how you usually do things with them and I’ll do the same, I’ve noticed it’s easier for the dogs because the are used to how their owner does things!

About: Animals in my care are given lots of love and snuggles, clean food and water, mental and physical exercise, and a cozy bed near a human! I have taken care of many dogs for friends, family, and clients. Your pup will have a wonderful time staying at our farm on 1 fenced-off acre with another very friendly dog, Teddy Bear Tom. We have a large sturdy kennel in the garage upon the client's request. We prefer to have your fur baby with either myself, my husband, or my teenage daughter. Thanks for choosing us to take care of your precious pup! I am a full-time care provider for dogs of all ages. Your fur baby will never be left alone except when I take my potty break or prepare a meal. I supervise and actively play with the fur babies that I am taking care of. We have nap time together as well. Fur babies can play as much as they want outside as weather permits. They can snuggle inside the house if that's what they want to do. I am very in tune with and attentive to the needs and emotions of animals. Reading facial expressions and animal body language is a skill I have acquired. :) I have a tall fenced backyard as well as a large fenced dog run. I have two friendly dogs that your fur baby can play with. Your fur baby will have separate sleeping quarters (from my dogs) which have A/C, heat, a big bed, water bowls, and a sound machine. Potty Breaks and Outdoor time are as often as you prefer and as much as the weather permits. If your doggo is more comfortable relaxing inside, that's okay too!

About: Having animals ranging in all ages since I was 5 has definitely helped but also helping friends and family since the age of 13 has been the best experience. I am available 24/7, our animals are just as important as us so I believe in having time for them whenever you or them may need it. Always following directions given by owner and doing thorough checks throughout the time I am with your 4 legged family. Staying aware of surroundings when out and about in walks.

About: We provide Personal care of your family member. Will accept multiple animals at home from one (1) family or friends. I am a AKC professional all breed dog handler for over 20 years. My breed is Rhodesian Ridgeback. Experience in training, behavior modification, potty and crate training. Dogs shall only be crated if requested by parents. If parents allow, animals able to lounge on any furniture or dog/cat bed. Able to whelp litters and administer meds. Available for All breed grooming and nail trimming. Please let us know how to accommodate your baby. Rates based on 24 hour period - additional time will require additional stay or day care rate. About: I have had a variety of animals always in my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and rodents. (All of which I've had at some point) I have also worked for a rescue charity for 7+ years which resulted in having learned basic and emergency care, as well as administration of medication. I am retired and looking to fill my time with love and cuddles. I have always enjoyed caring for the variety of animals I have and have had. I love learning all the cute special quirks and loves of every animal I interact with. I am very respectful of other people's space and items - my focus is on the animals in my charge.
