About: I know it is not easy to leave your dog in someone else’s care. As a dog parent of 15 years, I want owners to feel confident that their dog is safe, comfortable, and well looked after with me. I am certified in Pet First Aid and have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies to seniors. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and comfort level so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar and low-stress. Whether your dog loves long sniff walks, needs steady exercise, or does better with a slower pace, I tailor each visit to fit their needs. You will receive photo and video updates after each walk or visit so you know how your dog is doing. I would be glad to become a consistent, reliable part of your dog’s routine and am happy to arrange recurring walks or visits. I also have experience fostering and volunteering with dog rescue organizations, which has given me experience with many different temperaments and care needs. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine, and my schedule is flexible, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. I recently completed my graduate degree in public health, so I am available to provide dependable, consistent care. When I care for dogs in their home, I try to keep things as familiar and consistent as possible. I follow your dog’s usual routine for walks, meals, play, rest, and any medications so they feel secure while you are away. I pay close attention to safety at home and on walks, including keeping dogs away from food or objects they should not get into and being mindful of their surroundings. I also let dogs warm up at their own pace and pay attention to their comfort level, personality, and energy.

About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. About: from young puppies to elderly pets, i can accommodate most situations and work my hardest to make your pet feel at home!! with land for trained dogs off leash or a nice clean living room for the inside cat i work for myself at home, so can be attentive and on call all day for your pets specific needs. i work in a garage just a few minutes walk from my home! may parents have a small dog in their cabin, and i have labradoodle that stays with me, or in her own home. lots of space for the trained dogs off leash to roam, or a place for the dog that needs a fenced in run!!

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and bunnies. I have worked at two animal shelters caring for all kinds of dogs with many different temperaments. I have a wonderful 8 year old dog that I got as a puppy. I took him to training classes and socialized him so I have a lot of experience in this realm. I understand how important it is to provide a safe, loving environment for the animals in our lives. I'm currently in grad school at UVa and have more flexibility right now. I can be over early and stay late depending on your proximity.
