“Staci was absolutely wonderful! One of our dogs is in the middle of a long recovery from TPLO surgery, Staci was great with her and even slept downstairs on the couch since our dog can’t climb stairs right now. Lots of great pictures through our trip that made us feel so much more relaxed knowing everyone was doing good. Highly recommend Staci!!”

“Melanie and Anthony were great with our dogs, even with one of them in heat. They kept them well fed and exercised. We were very pleased with the experience”

“Kelly was a pleasure! We met in advance for her to meet the fur babies, which I really appreciated. She helped watch 3 of our animals, one being a senior English bulldog that needs extra care and it was comforting to know while my husband and I were away, they were in good hands. They loved her! Which is also comforting! Thanks Kelly!! :)”

“Kimberly was great! We've never used a pet-sitter before so were a little nervous, but Kimberly came over to meet us and our dog before we left and put our minds at ease. Our pup took to her right away when she visited and we appreciated the thoughtful questions she asked. She was a great communicator before and during her stay with our pup and sent so many great photos. Just got home from our trip and the house is spotless. Definitely recommend!”

“Amanda was great with our kitties while we were away on vacation! She sent lots of updates with photos/videos and was very respectful of our space. Amanda went above and beyond during meal times as our kitties need to be separated and can be picky eaters. I would highly recommend Amanda for any of your pet care needs!”

About: I’ve always possessed a deep love for animals and have grown up around pets my entire life. I have several years of hands-on experience working at a grooming salon, where I assisted with bathing, feeding, and caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’ve also volunteered at local animal shelters, which helped me better understand dog behavior, body language, and each pet’s unique emotional needs. I’m patient, dependable, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I would be honored to care for your furry family member like they’re my own! 🐾 I recently graduated and am taking a gap year, pursuing additional courses as an aspiring physician assistant and working part-time in healthcare. My schedule is very flexible throughout the week, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to your pets. I’m generally available most weekdays and weekends, except Thursdays. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m attentive to body language, feeding schedules, medications if needed, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free in their own environment. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
“I recently used Tricia for the first time for two nights of pet sitting with my senior chihuahua, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! She was incredibly professional, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She took such amazing care of my dog and kept me updated the entire time with thoughtful messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It meant everything knowing Winnie was in such good hands. I will absolutely be using her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

“Jess was wonderful with our golden retriever! She was prompt, efficient and communicative which eased any worry we had. I would definitely recommend Jess for any dog service you need!”

“Ava is an absolute gem of a care taker for both my cat and my home. I recommend her wholeheartedly. She is trustworthy and sent me many photos, even when communication channels were limited as my husband and I were traveling internationally. She richly deserves all five stars in my rating.”

“Hands down best dog sitter I’ve ever had. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my baby with anyone else. I received photos and updates throughout the day and the experience with dogs was unmatched. Thank you! Will definitely use again!!!”

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and enjoy making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to follow each owner’s instructions closely. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or just a calm companion, I’ll make sure they feel loved and cared for. I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. Since I’m home often, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time, and I can help keep them on their normal schedule so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. For house sitting, I’m also able to bring my work equipment with me, which allows me to stay with your pet while still working remotely and giving them consistent care and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine and environment as normal and comfortable as possible. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications if needed, crate routines, and any house rules. I always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and fenced areas are secure, and I pay close attention during walks and playtime to keep pets safe. I’m respectful of every client’s home and will treat both your pet and your space with care. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable while you’re away.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of animals with my own pets. Have experience dog sitting and walking with puppy’s through elderly dogs. Always have been passionate about being dogs best friend. I am currently a student at Stony Brook taking 14 credits during the day. Message me for drop in visits or walking to find a time that works for the both of us. My home has a natural fence of a swamp. I take my elderly dog (Esther) out on walks every other day (ussally the beach) and on the off days we stay out in the back yard playing fetch. This seems to be the best schedule for an elderly dog full of life but with fading joints.
About: I am a full time employee in an assisted living. I had my sweet dachshund for 17 years, and caring for her through her senior years taught me how to care and keep senior pets happy. Now I have a happy, energetic bernedoodle and two adorable bunnies at my parents house and always miss now that I am away. I I have been around both small and large dogs all of my life. Growing up I constantly house sat, fed and watered pets while my neighbors were away for pocket money. I look forward to becoming your dog’s new favorite sitter! I have work till 5pm and then the rest of the day I have time to take care of your pets. When I lived with my pets I would let them out in the yard in the mornings and as soon as I would get home. I made sure to give them attention and affection everyday. I have dealt with senior dogs and am well aware of their limits. It is my promise that I will make any dog of any age as comfortable and as happy as possible.

About: I’ve always had animals in my life and taken care of dogs and cats since I was little. There is nothing quite like having a pet; nurturing it yourself, forming that special bond and learning all those quirks that make each animal special. My own dog Maxie is very social and even at 10 years old is super playful. I wanted to be a pet sitter because I enjoy being around animals and taking care of them. It always makes my day meeting a new dog. I am comfortable with any kind of breed and any age. My hours are flexible and I have over 20 years experience. I am a teacher, I generally work from 7-2 but I available before 7 to make sure they are well fed. I can also come back on my lunch breaks to make sure they get some play time and need to go for walks as well as anytime after 2:30. I am also available on Saturdays and most Sundays. I would bring toys and treats for your fur baby so that they feel comfortable with me. I would ask their owners what their routine is and if they have any medical concerns I should be aware of. I would send them pictures of their pets throughout the day and keep their owners regularly updated on how they are doing. I normally walk my dog 3 times a day and feed him twice a day ( morning and night ) with snacks in the middle of the day with plenty of water and potty breaks. I would be doing the same things too. I usually play with my dog first thing when I get home and before we go to bed. I would do the same things too when I pet sit.
About: I love all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs! I grew up with a family dog and have cared for many of my friends’ and family members’ pets over the past 10 years. I’ve also trained my own dog and love learning new tips and techniques to help pets thrive. Whether it’s a quick walk around the block or a long hike on the trails, I truly enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs. I’m also hoping that by dog sitting and walking, I’ll finally convince my husband that it’s time for us to adopt our own pup soon! 🐶❤️ I currently work Tues-Thurs full time in NYC office and available most weekends. My husband and I enjoy filling our free time walking and caring for dogs. He and I both will care for your beloved furry baby like it is our own. I’m available most weekdays after work and weekends with notice. I’m happy to follow any specific routines or house rules and will make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. From walks and feedings to baths, medication, and extra snuggles — I’ll treat your pet like part of the family!
“Bridget was a wonderful sitter! She accommodated our dogs nervousness and high energy. She sent pictures and video throughout the night and accommodated us when we extended the time. I will be using her again! I would highly recommend her!”

Nesconset pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our first time having someone stay at our house with our babies while we were away and Lisette made it so easy. We have two anxious, high-energy dogs and a cat, and Lisette shared consistent photos and updates, making sure we knew exactly how they all were each day. Lisette loved our pets like they were her own for the week, and it was clear they absolutely loved her back. She also treated our home with great respect, keeping everything clean and tidy. Knowing our pets and home were in such good hands gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Lisette and would gladly have her watch our pets again! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This was our first time leaving our dogs with a sitter and also the longest we had ever been away from them, so we were understandably a little nervous. Our dogs can be very anxious and reactive around new people, but by the end of her stay they absolutely loved Staci. Staci was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and proactive throughout the entire time we were away. She kept a close eye on anything that seemed even slightly out of the ordinary and always kept us informed. We especially appreciated the many photos and updates she sent each day, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were traveling. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our dogs and their well-being. We came home to two happy, comfortable pups, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would highly recommend Staci to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter.

Tatiana was an amazing dog sitter for our dog, Steely! She kept us updated the entire weekend with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was very clear that Steely was well cared for, loved, and comfortable the whole time. We truly appreciated her communication, reliability, and kindness. We would absolutely recommend Tatiana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

It's imperative to know your "kids" are well taken care of while you're away: it can make or break a trip. Jazlyn kept us abreast of everything, including some impending medical problems. We looked forward each day to the tons of pictures she sent. The best part? When I looked at those pictures, it was obvious that Mac and Zeus were... happy! She is a lovely person who understands your concerns, and we could not have asked for more.
Our first pet sitter backed out at the last minute before our holiday vacation and Lauren was able to house sit and watch our babies without issue. She kept in touch with updates the whole time and tended to some other needed tasks around the house while we were gone. She was a lifesaver and I totally recommend using her! She gave our pets the attention and affection they needed while we were away.
