About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. About: My background in cat care began in The League for Animal Protection of Huntington, NY in 2007. I volunteered there as an animal care associate, working with a variety of kittens and cats from many different walks of life. All of the cats were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with socialization, feeding, and even medication distribution. In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house- and cat-sitting job. After that, I entered the full-time workforce and adopted my first cat and love of my life Avery. Avery has since passed, but my home is now occupied by his feline brothers (in spirit): Handsome and Bubbles. They bring me more joy than I could ever imagine! About: Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and giving them plenty of love and attention. Today, I have two black cats who are the most precious year-old brothers. When my wife and I adopted them, they were extremely ill with ringworm, roundworms, and what felt like a never-ending series of upper respiratory infections. About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. I live in a first-floor condo apartment in a neighborhood with lots of green areas — perfect for dogs who love quick potty breaks and longer sniffing walks. I let dogs free roam throughout my home and they're absolutely allowed on furniture. I treat every dog as if they were my own, which means lots of freedom, comfort, and attention. Since I do this part-time, I never have more than two unfamiliar dogs at once, so each dog gets a calm, focused environment. During the week, I’m available after 5:00 PM and can provide reliable, attentive care for your pets. I’m committed to making sure dogs get the exercise, attention, and companionship they need. While Walking: Ensuring the dog is safe on a leash at all times. Watching for hazards like traffic, other animals, or unsafe terrain. Giving plenty of exercise suited to the dog’s age, breed, and energy level. Offering water breaks during longer walks. Engaging with the dog—playing, talking, and giving attention. Monitoring behavior and mood to prevent stress or discomfort. Cleaning up after the dog responsibly. Adjusting pace or route based on the dog’s needs. While Watching (At Home or Elsewhere): Feeding the dog on schedule with the proper food and portions. Making sure fresh water is always available. Giving love, attention, and mental stimulation through toys or interaction. Keeping the dog safe and comfortable in their environment. Following any specific care instructions from the owner. Monitoring health or unusual behavior and alerting the owner if needed. Administering medication if required. Maintaining a clean living area (picking up messes, washing dishes, etc.).
About: I’ve had dogs since i was five years old, I’ve always been an animal lover. I had three dogs growing up and have now just got my own after moving out on my own. I love being around dogs and helping create the happiest life for them. I know a big part of that is getting them out of the house for them to experience a happy adventurous life and not to be cooped up. I want to help create that life for as many animals/ dogs as I can when owners schedules can become to busy to always do that themselves. I work half remote and half in the office. I’m aware everyone has different schedules and would love to help whenever I can whether that be after or before work or on my lunch breaks. I am very patient and caring towards all dogs. I understand every dogs personality is different and can accommodate their needs based on whatever instructions or care they require.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I currently own four dogs: two adult Belgian Malinois, a German Shepherd puppy, and a senior Shih Tzu mix. I have crate trained and potty trained multiple puppies and am familiar with the time, patience, and consistency required for successful training.
