About: A dog lover my whole life, I have years of being relied upon to look after pets for friends and family. I have a senior samoyed pup (the one in my profile picture) and so I have experience with senior dogs as well as bigger/wolf/vocal dog breeds. I have recently moved back to Long Island from England, where I was a high school Math teacher for 8 years. I am currently not working as I look for employment. This also means I am DBS (background) checked. My partner Trent is also a dog lover and lifelong dog owner (most recently of a beautiful staffy girl), and he may help me out from time to time if needed. My boyfriend & I are the point of contact for friends, family, etc. because we genuinely understand that your pets truly are family & they deserve to be treated as such. I work full-time, but i can definitely stop in before work & spend nights taking care of those you hold dear. If you require housesitting, I can adjust my schedule to make sure your animals get the routine they are used to. My job allows me to work from home on Thursdays & Fridays & although I usually work Saturdays, if you book 2 weeks in advance I can watch your fur baby for a long weekend if need be. I take pride in my work & if selected, i will prioritize your animals :) My dog is pretty easy, I must admit. She just needs some attention & some space.. mostly space 😂 but I’ve watched dogs & even cats who are more on the needy side & I can adjust my actions accordingly. In the past, I have administered medication in the form of pills for dogs with heartworm - maintaining the schedule set out by my client. I have also dropped in on a clients cat who was more self-sufficient but just needed a little extra attention on occasion. Whatever the munchkin needs is what I provide!
