Top rated Narragansett dog walkers

About: I have grown up around animals and trained my puppies at a younger age. Now, I love walking dogs, caring for them, and making them feel at home! This summer, I am available almost everyday to walk or visit and care for dogs at home. With a day or two’s notice I am able to provide services! I do not have a home in which I can bring dogs to but in the homes of clients I am very aware of boundaries and follow directions with clear attention to detail.

“Alyssa is a great communicator and very patient with my shy dog. She gave me peace of mind while I was traveling that my dog was well taken care of.”

About: Experienced with small dogs in all areas of care. Clean home and surroundings. One on one 24/7 attention and care. Dog must be well behaved on a leash and with commands, potty trained and disease/flee/tick free I am currently retired and have a very flexible schedule to give the right amount of one on one care, time and attention to your pet. I live in a very quiet residence in a seaside community which is great for leashed beach walks and neighborhood walks. My home is very clean, well organized, central a/c and heat.

“Hayley is great! She showed up on time and took good care of my little pup who needs a little extra time to warm up to people. Hayley is kind and patient with her and puts her at ease.”

“Abigail has been walking my senior dog while I’m at work. She’s very patient with him and sends me updates to let me know how he’s doing during each visit.”

About: My childhood was full of pets, including dogs, birds, and guinea pigs, which sparked my lifelong love for animals. Originally from Boston, I moved to RI for my master’s degree to become a Physician Assistant. Now living in Narragansett, RI with my boyfriend and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Nando, I know firsthand the joy and care that go into having a happy, healthy pet. I have experience house-sitting and pet-sitting for both dogs and cats, from daily walks to overnight stays, and I’m comfortable handling all their routines and needs. I’m responsible, communicative, and energetic, and I love exploring the beautiful coastal paths and neighborhoods of South County—especially with a furry friend by my side. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’m happy to make any accommodations to keep them comfortable and cared for. I truly love animals and can’t wait to build a bond with you and your pet! I work part-time at a local bakery, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or visits on most days, and I can adjust my bakery shifts to accommodate when needed. Because I’m local, I can also respond quickly to last-minute requests or schedule changes. Safety and trust are my top priorities whether I’m house-sitting or stopping in for a walk. I always follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions closely to make sure they feel secure and comfortable. When house-sitting, I treat your home with the same respect I would my own, keeping everything clean and maintaining your pet’s usual environment to reduce stress. For walks and drop-in visits, I’m mindful of surroundings, avoid unsafe situations like busy roads or unfamiliar dogs, and use positive reinforcement to keep pets calm and happy. At home, I do the same for my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Nando, so I understand how important it is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times.

“Hayley is awesome! Super communicative and reliable, and most importantly, Brickley LOVES her!!”

About: I’ve taken care of my 2 rescue dogs and cat for 10 years. I’ve also volunteered for the Super Dog Adoption events as I am passionate about homeless dogs finding good furever homes. Animals are my passion, particularly pets ❤️. I’m currently working part time and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. The only afternoons I’m not available are late Mondays and Tuesdays, however I am available those nights. I can take care of your dog in any way you see fit. I can do Drop in visits and dog walks. I can also stay in your home to take care of your dogs but will need some breaks to come home and take care of mine.

“Tallyn was able to accommodate my last minute request. She was very responsive and took great care of my dog. It is apparent from the pictures she sent that Daisy made a new friend. I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Emma.has walked my dogs a few times now in prep for a house sit. She seems responsible and communicative and willing to work with the quirks that my rescues have. She got my lab to walk multiple times now and he can be a challenge to get going. Overall feeling very positive and hopeful about the start if this arrangement”

About: Lifelong Animal Lover | 13+ Years Experience | Trusted, Loving, Down-to-Earth Care Hi! I’m Victoria — a lifelong animal lover with over 13 years of experience caring for pets and keeping homes clean, safe, and peaceful. I’m based in Wakefield, Rhode Island, where I also run my own cleaning business — so I know how to keep things tidy and tail-wagging happy. I’ve worked in a doggy daycare and grooming shop, have volunteered with horses, and have experience with everything from puppies and senior pets to special needs animals and even reptiles. I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether I’m house sitting, walking your pup, or dropping in to check on your pets, I bring love, patience, and a calm, grounded energy. I’m gentle but firm — the worst your pup might hear from me is my “big girl voice” (loving, but clear). I’m also great at reading animal behavior, administering meds, and handling routines with care. I currently share my home with three sweet cats, and I totally understand how important it is to find someone you trust. I'm here to give you peace of mind while you're away — and to make sure your pets feel safe, seen, and cared for. Let me know if you have any questions or want to set up a meet & greet. I’d love to meet your furry (or scaly!) family! I currently work from home and run my own business, which gives me the flexibility to adjust my schedule around your pet’s needs. Whether you need early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or overnight care, I’m happy to work with your routine and create a plan that works best for you and your furry family. Just send me a message with your ideal times, and I’ll do my best to make it happen — your pet’s comfort and consistency come first! Your pets safety is top priority for me. I care deeply for all animals and find that love, patience and understanding is the best approach with all pets.

About: My family are puppy raisers for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, so I’ve had lots of experience with young dogs and basic training (not certified). I’ve house sat and taken care of pets for years and dealt with pets both old and young, and have even navigated vet visits with an old pup after a lightning storm anxiety attack. I go on daily walks and would love to have a buddy! I work 6 days a week usually only from 4:30pm-9:30pm, but once or twice a week I do work a split shift where I go in from 9:30-12:30, and then again at 4:30. I am always free Tuesdays. I’ve cared for energetic dogs who just want to get out and play, and calm dogs who just want a couch snuggle. Every pet is different in their care needs but I’ve given medications, baths, and cleaned up messes for all types of pets.

About: Family and friends have always trusted me with their furry friends! I grew up with dogs and cats by my side my whole life. I am very comfortable with pets and always strive to make them feel happy and loved. I work part time (20 hours a week). I have a lot of free time for pet sitting/walking. I am will ing to get up early or stay up later if needed. I will always ask my client to leave me a note or explanation as to how to care for their pets when I pet sit. I want to make sure I’m am taking the best care of these pets, especially if they have special circumstances (medical needs, likes/dislikes, etc).

About: Hi, my name is Maya and I am 23 years old. I just graduated from Providence College and will be attending Vet School in the Fall. I am looking to make some extra money towards affording school. I have lots of experience with pets as I worked as a kennel attendant at a boarding kennel for a year, and have been a Veterinary Technician at a vet clinic for 2 years. I have experience care for cats, dogs, and exotics. This has given me experience with giving medications and monitoring the signs of a dog’s wellbeing under my care. About 4 years ago, I adopted a dog of my own who is under my care 24/7, so in addition to my professional experience, I know how much love and care is needed for these pets, as they are members of the family! I also have experience walking a reactive dog as my own dog has struggled with this! I work as a vet tech Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and occasional Sundays. I have time before 8 am for walks and drop-ins and after 5 on those days. On my days off: Fridays, Saturdays, Tuesdays, and occasional Sundays, I have the whole day to dedicate to your pet! I would prefer to come to you, and care for your dog in an environment that is familiar to them. However, if this isn’t a possibility, your dog could come to me, although I have 2 dogs that live with me currently, both super friendly and social. I do also have a fenced-in yard which is perfect for running around and playing. In this case, your dog would have to be okay with being around other dogs for their stay, as well as sharing my attention.

About: I have my own dogs at home that I have taken care of since I was 10 years old, so I have a lot of experience with taking care of dogs. This summer I watched my sorority house moms dog for two weeks over the summer, so I have experience taking care of other peoples pets! I'm currently a student at URI but have all morning classes and get out early. After class I go home and love to take walks. My neighborhood is perfect for walking dogs. I live right near the beach so walks by the beach, when the weather is nice would be great for your pet! I don't have a fenced in yard but love taking walks and have the perfect neighborhood for that, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. I also have a bigger house with lots of space for the dog to go and have 4 roommates who all loves dogs, so your dog will get plenty of attention.

I was with her during her last semester of college when she had finals, graduation, her thesis paper, and more looming on top of her. Yet she handled the surmounting pressures and stress with composure, which I can see translating over well into being a great dog caregiver- as she will be great at handling new and unknown situations. She also cares deeply about animals, which I’ve seen from the love and care she not only shows her own pet, but also from the way she inquires and interacts with my own. You will not find a better person to look after your dog!”
