“Alyssa was so helpful with our dog Atlas. He was excited when he saw her arrive and when he got back from his walks he was always happy and tired. Alyssa was easy to work with, reliable, and friendly. She was self sufficient and helped us in a bind.”

“We highly recommend Lindsay - she was Amazing! She walked and played with our dog, Zeus, when we were on vacation in Nags Head. Lindsay asked many important questions about him prior to her visit and even sent a Google Docs summary of his needs. She was very caring and professional and communicated regularly before, during and after her visits. The best recommendation came from Zeus who was so excited to see her after the first day he couldn't wait to run right up to her tail wagging! Thank you for caring for our baby like he was your own! xoxox Nicole, Eric, Evan, Julia & Zeus”

About: Hi I'm Sara! I have a lot of experience with pets, as I've grown up with a variety of of them including dogs, cats, turtles, and more. I have also fostered then adopted a kitten since she was 3 weeks old, bottling her through the night. I have a great understanding and love of all kinds of animals, and I have experience with administering medications to pets. I look forward to meeting you and your pet, and I will treat your pet like they are a part of my own family because I know that they are such an important part of yours! I work full-time, but am available during the evenings and for an hour in the afternoons. I am also available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays all day. About: I have 3 years of experience working with animals as a Veterinary Assistant. I was raised on a farm in Montana, with multiple dogs, cats and a big herd of horses. I attended College for Equine Science in Arizona, and plan to pursue my dream of working in an Equine Therapy program to help PTSD or abuse victims and children with disabilities. I am trustworthy, very calm and laid back. I understand animals and am sympathetic and attentive to your pets needs and safety. I am willing to trim nails, clean ears, bath and work with your aggressive dogs as well. I love larger breeds. I believe in a firm yet kind approach, and have worked with abused and neglected animals. I will also care for horses, chicken and other farm type animals. Thank you for your time!!

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life! My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play! She can be rambunctious so if your dog is mellow, she will get on their nerves. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. Nothing phases me - I can administer medication and subcutaneous fluids and can follow complicated feeding instructions - some of our furry friends are finicky! I love the bond formed when walking dogs - it's very special. My home is pet-friendly, with a small fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have a lovely time and I will be thrilled to take care of them! I am a realtor with a very flexible work schedule so there will be a lot of 1:1 time with your pet. We have sidewalks everywhere and a dog park within walking distance (only if you give the ok). I set an alarm and feed them breakfast and dinner consistently at the same time - it typically provides a calming effect when staying in a new place. I can let them out first AM in the backyard and after that it will be walks in and outside of Bermuda Bay, with lots of great sniffs!

About: Hi! I’m 26 and have over 7 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I don’t have a pet of my own right now, so pet sitting is a great way for me to stay connected to animals—and give them the care and attention they deserve while you're away. I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible and I’m able to give your pet consistent attention throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, playtime, or just some extra company, I’m around to make sure they’re well cared for. I have a fully fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and fresh air. For pets staying with me, I treat them like they’re my own—making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home.

I have a free roam Catahoula Leopard Dog (Oakley, 6) and a Brown Tabby (Moose, 3) who are spoiled to the max! I keep my dog entertained with long walks, letting him tire himself out. My cat loves a feather toy like no other cat I have encountered, and treats (of course).

I currently work until 4pm, after that time I can take your furry friend for a walk, we can play together and learn new things. I do what the client requests, but always with lots of love and patience. I follow instructions carefully to provide a great experience for both the dog and its owner.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since i was 8 years old. I’ve worked at vet clinics, hospitals, and kennels for 8 years and have an arsenal of animal welfare knowledge. I am comfortable handling cats, dogs, and exotic animals of all shapes and sizes! As a recent college grad, I am filling my time off before grad school pet sitting. This is my only focus at the moment so my availability is completely open every day. Preferably I am available after 10 AM because I have my own animals to take care of. I have a large fenced in yard and an extremely friendly dog to keep yours company, as well as a happy cat! I also have a large car that can easily transport your pet(s) if needed. I make sure to take care of my animals, and others, by providing lots of love, affection, and mental stimulation to provide the best experience possible for the animals I work with.

I have lived with and worked on training with a number of dogs and cats and feel very confident in my abilities with all animals. I have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to prioritize house and pet sitting. I currently work remotely so I am able to accept same day bookings depending on my schedule - but this allows me to make a schedule change very easily! I respect and love each pet as if it were my own. I know routines and expectations are very important to animals, so being able to accommodate to their routine is very important, as well as being able to read their body language and respect their needs.

About: I've taken care of a variety of animals from a young age: cats, dogs, reptiles, small mammals, etc. My 6 years of experience handling horses has also shaped me into a reliable and responsible carer. I have wither morning (before 4) or evening (after 4) availability every day of the week, save for specific occasions. Early mornings and late evenings are not an issue for me for drop-in visits. My availability for walks is also very flexible, with the exception of evenings (past 4PM). When you need someone reliable for long twrm or past minute, I'll be here! I can care for animals in the client's home with extra care, safety, and flexibility. Your pet and your home are my top priority. I can also provide dog walking services in the local area.

About: I am a full time dog Mom. I have a 7 year old Corgi rescue. He is my heart. He spent a lot of time in a crate at his former home. His people didn't exercise him much so he became a very lazy boy. I want people to know that there are services available that can help with caring for their pets . I love to walk so I thought Rover would be a great place for me to help others get their pets the exercise they need. Dogs are my passion and I know people that work full time jobs still love their dogs but need help some days. I would love to help your dog get some exercise and love. Thank you

About: I'm not a dog person. I'm an animal person! I have two senior kitties, a gecko, an anole, a hamster, and fish under my care. I love all sorts of cuddly and not so cuddly creatures! I've cared for family cats and dogs growing up and am looking forward to getting my own puppy next year! I've been a sitter for two years. I'm very comfortable caring for senior kitties and dogs. My own senior cat needed oral medication weekly since age 3 for a special condition. I've been solely responsible for feeding, exercising, bathing, and medicating cats since I was 12 and as someone in my mid 20s I make a mature and responsible sitter. I've also cared for medicating a spicy elderly cat with hiv that needed two daily medications, including pills, before their passing (6 months) RIP. So for pets that have special needs I'm very familiar with these procedures and am comfortable with them if necessary as long as we go over them in person first! I believe challenged pets deserve equal opportunity to be cared for and loved! I cannot bathe cats that are fiesty when it comes to water. I also cannot trim any nails as I am not a professional groomer and accidents can cause infection. Safety is my number one priority! AVAILABILITY I have a very flexible schedule as a freelance, work from home graphic designer. I can be available most any day from 5am-10pm, when given at least a day's notice, for sitting, drop ins, and walks. I promise to let any regular customers know as soon as I do of any vacation or emergency preventing regularly scheduled pet care so you have time to find a suitable replacement for your four-legged family member! As I work from home I'm available your pet's entire stay to keep them company and to keep an eye on them! AGGRESSION I'm not comfortable with pets with aggression and if your dog has leash fear I'm afraid I cannot provide outdoor services such as walking or hose showers. Please let me know of any fears or concerns.

“Eyan is amazing with all animals. I am never scared to leave my animals in his care, sometimes I find they are happier when he comes around. He goes above and beyond always making sure my dogs and cats are safe, healthy, and loved. He not only feeds and walks the animals, but he spends time with them making sure they aren't lonely. I would not want anyone else to take care of my animals.”

Sara K.
“Sara is probably one of the best people I know who has a genuine affection for dogs. Her major is geared to studying and understanding animals, so she knows how to take of all kinds of dogs, as well as all different kinds of animals. She is also very accountable, flexible, and has a wonderful personality. If I had to ask someone to take my dog, Sara would definitely be the first person I'd ask. ^ ^”

Khinza D.

“We've used quite a few pet sitters in various locations and I have to say that Khinza is the best! She's great at communicating and sent us pics of our dog and cat while we were gone. When we came home, everything looked great - water was topped off, pet dishes clean, yard was poop-scooped. Our cat is not the friendliest and she even got him to lay on her lap! We highly recommend Khinza for anyone looking for an in home pet sitter.”

She is very fit and can keep up with the active lifestyles of my large breed dogs. She has taken them for long walks, played with them at the dog park and my house and has cuddled with them when they want to relax.
