I'm retired and I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with your dog(s). If they are active, I can also run with them. I take dogs on lots of long walks, plus playtime and cuddling. I have plenty of room in a dog friendly house with covered furniture. I have a crate big enough for a 50 lb dog if your dog is used to a crate for naps, etc.

About: I've always loved dogs and caring for them. It’s important to make sure they get enough exercise and are safe. I enjoy dog walking and playing games with them like fetch and tug. I am happy to administer medication as well if needed. We have two cats, who are very sweet and laid back and normally hide out in basement when company is here! We also have an English Springer Spaniel, who loves playing with other dogs and is a respectful gentleman around the cats. About: Loved dogs my whole life and got my first one at age 24- five years ago, enjoy taking my dog to the beach and on walks near water. He is pretty high energy so I’m very accustomed to dogs that need constant stimulation and love :) I work remotely 8-5 Monday thru Friday but have lunch breaks and other breaks throughout the day to help let out or walk pets nearby or stay overnight when needed. I have weekend availability as well. I have a fenced backyard and typically walk my dog twice a day and let him run on beach in evenings while playing fetch in the waves. I’ve watched dogs aged 7 weeks old to 15 years old and comfortable with all ages in between :)

My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play! She can be rambunctious so if your dog is mellow, she will get on their nerves. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. Nothing phases me - I can administer medication and subcutaneous fluids and can follow complicated feeding instructions - some of our furry friends are finicky! I love the bond formed when walking dogs - it's very special. My home is pet-friendly, with a small fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have a lovely time and I will be thrilled to take care of them! I am a realtor with a very flexible work schedule so there will be a lot of 1:1 time with your pet. We have sidewalks everywhere and a dog park within walking distance (only if you give the ok). I set an alarm and feed them breakfast and dinner consistently at the same time - it typically provides a calming effect when staying in a new place. I can let them out first AM in the backyard and after that it will be walks in and outside of Bermuda Bay, with lots of great sniffs!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
