“Flannery is phenomenal! Rodi, my one year old Yorkie, wants attention and to play all day long. Flannery kept Rodi occupied with new experiences throughout Flannery’s daytime and evening activities. I’m grateful the dog was not left alone. The biggest compliment I can give Flannery is that when I picked the dog up, I barely got a greeting. She was very friendly and warm, and was all around excellent with our senior lab mix - she sent regular updates with videos and pictures and he LOVED running around her land, getting to splash in her pond and watching all the farm animals. About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! I have an extensive frame of reference if something presents itself that I need to address or call to your attention. If you like, I can bring in your mail and water your plants. About: I’ve been around dogs for years volunteering at the shelter and fostering. I have two dogs of my own so I have the experience with all different breeds and personality. ***If making a overnight house sitting request, I usually have to bring my two dogs*** I work full time from home but do have to go into the office some days for a few hours. I will crate dogs when leaving home every time for their safety. They will be loved and fed just like my own! Can provide excercise if needed, but will not exercise if it is to hot. I have wiener dogs who are very social so it includes a socializing experience. I am experienced with deaf/ blind doggos and doggos with insulin shots. I am comfortable helping those with medical needs and most doggo breeds . Only requirement is no aggression towards other animals. I enjoy playing and getting to know your dog, dogs have different personalities and different interests. If your dog is a couch potato we have Netflix, if your dog enjoys long walks on the beach we have a near by park that we walk to, and for those who are more timid and scared we have plenty of places to cover up and burrow in.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, we had labrador retrievers, where I helped with the day-to-day care, training, and even helped raise liters of puppies. I have volunteer at the local SPCA. In 2019, I adopted my dog, Gus. With Gus, I learned patience from having adopted a rescue. “My husband and I recently moved to the Elizabeth City area and we don't know anyone here. Last minute my husband was able to attend an event with me a few hours away. I quickly scrambled to find someone to sit our furbabies. I messaged Christianna and she quickly got back to me saying she could watch them. Since I'm a very nervous dog mom and we've had bad experiences hiring a dog sitter online (we used a different website at that time), she agreed to come meet us the night before and the dogs. We dropped the dogs off Saturday morning and she was instantly great with them. They walked right into her house with no fear. About: I grew up with dogs my entire life! My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play! She can be rambunctious so if your dog is mellow, she will get on their nerves. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. Nothing phases me - I can administer medication and subcutaneous fluids and can follow complicated feeding instructions - some of our furry friends are finicky! I love the bond formed when walking dogs - it's very special. My home is pet-friendly, with a small fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have a lovely time and I will be thrilled to take care of them! I am a realtor with a very flexible work schedule so there will be a lot of 1:1 time with your pet. We have sidewalks everywhere and a dog park within walking distance (only if you give the ok). I set an alarm and feed them breakfast and dinner consistently at the same time - it typically provides a calming effect when staying in a new place. I can let them out first AM in the backyard and after that it will be walks in and outside of Bermuda Bay, with lots of great sniffs!

He is pretty high energy so I’m very accustomed to dogs that need constant stimulation and love :) I work remotely 8-5 Monday thru Friday but have lunch breaks and other breaks throughout the day to help let out or walk pets nearby or stay overnight when needed. I have weekend availability as well. I have a fenced backyard and typically walk my dog twice a day and let him run on beach in evenings while playing fetch in the waves. “Erin was an awesome sitter. She watched our golden retriever for a couple days and had a fantastic setup; Giant fenced in backyard with a pool and other dogs that got along really well. She updated us with pictures and was very easy to communicate with. Dog must have had a blast because she was exhausted when we picked her up. Will definitely return if in the OBX area!”

“Flannery is phenomenal! Rodi, my one year old Yorkie, wants attention and to play all day long. Flannery kept Rodi occupied with new experiences throughout Flannery’s daytime and evening activities. I’m grateful the dog was not left alone. The biggest compliment I can give Flannery is that when I picked the dog up, I barely got a greeting. This behavior tells me the dog had a wonderful time - without me! I highly recommend Flannery and if I need doggie daycare in the future I will certainly contact her. Thank you Flannery!”

“We were visiting the area from out of state and needed someone caring to keep our dog in a comfortable house (rather than a kennel) as the event we were attending didn’t allow dogs in the accommodations - so we booked Taylor sight unseen. She was very friendly and warm, and was all around excellent with our senior lab mix - she sent regular updates with videos and pictures and he LOVED running around her land, getting to splash in her pond and watching all the farm animals. Will definitely book with Taylor again if we are ever back in the area and need a dogsitter!”
About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can!
