“Michelle took great care of our pup! We have a 16-month old lab-mix with medium/high energy, and she kept her safe, active, and entertained. She was also flexible with our travel schedule which was massively helpful. Much more reasonable/affordable rates compared to other Rovers in the area. No idea how people justify $75 - $100+ nightly rates; seems outrageous, IMO. Anyways, not much more you can ask for or expect! Great experience all around. Will not hesitate to book with her again if/when the need arises.”
“Sara provided awesome care for Josie, our Moyen Poodle! She took her into her own home and together with Sara's two dogs they all got along very well. Josie got a lttle anxious one day and gnawed a little bit of door casing, Sara was very understanding and more concerned about Josie than the gnaw marks. All the change and chaos had my dog so anxious and confused, I thought a little vacation and some extra attention would help her feel less anxious. Liz was just what she needed! Right away in our meet and greet, my dog was relaxed and playful with Liz. During her stay, Liz sent me plenty of adorable pictures, kept me updated throughout the stay, and was very easy to communicate with. She was also flexible with time when I ended up with a dead battery and had to move things back a little. About: I am a full time dog Mom. I have a 7 year old Corgi rescue. He is my heart. He spent a lot of time in a crate at his former home. His people didn't exercise him much so he became a very lazy boy. I want people to know that there are services available that can help with caring for their pets . “We were very pleased with Rose's care of Louis and Sassy. We have never left our dogs with anyone other than family so this was a first. Rose has lots of room for dogs to run around which was great since Louis especially is young and needs a lot of exercise. Rose showed us around and explained everything at her disposal for boarding. They were happy when we dropped them off and that made us feel at ease. We were able to enjoy the Labor Day weekend knowing our pups were in good hands! We will be sure to use Rose next time we head to Outer Banks and need to board our dogs.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! About: I’ve been around dogs for years volunteering at the shelter and fostering. I have two dogs of my own so I have the experience with all different breeds and personality. ***If making a overnight house sitting request, I usually have to bring my two dogs*** I work full time from home but do have to go into the office some days for a few hours. I will crate dogs when leaving home every time for their safety. They will be loved and fed just like my own! Can provide excercise if needed, but will not exercise if it is to hot. My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play! She can be rambunctious so if your dog is mellow, she will get on their nerves. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. Nothing phases me - I can administer medication and subcutaneous fluids and can follow complicated feeding instructions - some of our furry friends are finicky! I love the bond formed when walking dogs - it's very special. My home is pet-friendly, with a small fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have a lovely time and I will be thrilled to take care of them! I am a realtor with a very flexible work schedule so there will be a lot of 1:1 time with your pet. We have sidewalks everywhere and a dog park within walking distance (only if you give the ok). I set an alarm and feed them breakfast and dinner consistently at the same time - it typically provides a calming effect when staying in a new place. I can let them out first AM in the backyard and after that it will be walks in and outside of Bermuda Bay, with lots of great sniffs!

About: Loved dogs my whole life and got my first one at age 24- five years ago, enjoy taking my dog to the beach and on walks near water. He is pretty high energy so I’m very accustomed to dogs that need constant stimulation and love :) I work remotely 8-5 Monday thru Friday but have lunch breaks and other breaks throughout the day to help let out or walk pets nearby or stay overnight when needed. I have weekend availability as well. I have a fenced backyard and typically walk my dog twice a day and let him run on beach in evenings while playing fetch in the waves. “Liz took care of my dog in her home overnight while I was moving us to a new house. All the change and chaos had my dog so anxious and confused, I thought a little vacation and some extra attention would help her feel less anxious. Liz was just what she needed! Right away in our meet and greet, my dog was relaxed and playful with Liz. During her stay, Liz sent me plenty of adorable pictures, kept me updated throughout the stay, and was very easy to communicate with. She was also flexible with time when I ended up with a dead battery and had to move things back a little. About: I am a full time dog Mom. I have a 7 year old Corgi rescue. He is my heart. He spent a lot of time in a crate at his former home. His people didn't exercise him much so he became a very lazy boy. I want people to know that there are services available that can help with caring for their pets . I love to walk so I thought Rover would be a great place for me to help others get their pets the exercise they need. Dogs are my passion and I know people that work full time jobs still love their dogs but need help some days. I would love to help your dog get some exercise and love. Thank you
“We were very pleased with Rose's care of Louis and Sassy. We have never left our dogs with anyone other than family so this was a first. Rose has lots of room for dogs to run around which was great since Louis especially is young and needs a lot of exercise. Rose showed us around and explained everything at her disposal for boarding. They were happy when we dropped them off and that made us feel at ease. We were able to enjoy the Labor Day weekend knowing our pups were in good hands! We will be sure to use Rose next time we head to Outer Banks and need to board our dogs.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can!
