“We were so blessed to find Nicole to care for our pup over the weekend. It was his first time experiencing out of home overnight boarding so we were very nervous how he would do. She sent frequent updates with pictures of him playing with her sweet pups and going for regular walks which made me feel so much better! Although my pup was stressed, Nicole did everything possible to care for him and put him at ease. She even went above and beyond by washing his things and giving him a bath. I’m so appreciative of her and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat your pup like their own!”

“Rose took amazing care of my two fur babies for 3 nights. Her homestead is the perfect place to board your animals, and she is very personable. She is great to work with! She sent many pics of the dogs out and about while under her care. One of my dogs is a sweetie with humans but doesn't always interact well with other dogs (outside of his fur sister) and certainly not small animals. I was so worried about boarding him. Rose knew exactly how to take care of him and both dogs came back to our family happy and well-cared for. I will definitely be boarding with her again in the future! Thanks again Rose and family!”

“Christianna was willing to keep our black lab Tazz over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were pleased that Christianna helped us out at the last minute and was flexible about the drop off and pick-up of our pet. The backyard is very large and has a 6' high wooden fence. Tazz seemed happy in all the photos shared over the seven day period. She was happy and healthy when we returned to pick her up. We have discovered that dropping Tazz off in Elizabeth City as we head north to Washington DC adds only 15 minutes one way to the drive. I would definitely leave Tazz with Christianna again.”

“Theresa & Phil we’re so great with my dog Kailo! We were on a weekend getaway in the outer banks and they were quick to say yes when we requested a booking! They welcomed us into their home to make sure all of the dogs got along well and took Kailo in as one of their own! They have a huge backyard and three wonderful dogs. Theresa sent pictures and updates all weekend. Kailo was having trouble eating and she gave him some of her own dog food to eat. They even sent us home with some extra food and treats! I would 100% recommend sending your fur baby to them to take care of! They were amazing ?”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! Additionally, having been a homeowner for many years, I am a fantastic house sitter. I have an extensive frame of reference if something presents itself that I need to address or call to your attention. If you like, I can bring in your mail and water your plants. And optional services can include running errands, shopping in preparation for your return, running packages to drop off, weeding landscaped beds, organizing projects, cleaning projects, and anything that you’ve wanted to accomplish but haven’t had the time. About: I’ve been around dogs for years volunteering at the shelter and fostering. I have two dogs of my own so I have the experience with all different breeds and personality. ***If making a overnight house sitting request, I usually have to bring my two dogs*** I work full time from home but do have to go into the office some days for a few hours. I will crate dogs when leaving home every time for their safety. They will be loved and fed just like my own! Can provide excercise if needed, but will not exercise if it is to hot. I have wiener dogs who are very social so it includes a socializing experience. I am experienced with deaf/ blind doggos and doggos with insulin shots. I am comfortable helping those with medical needs and most doggo breeds . Only requirement is no aggression towards other animals. I enjoy playing and getting to know your dog, dogs have different personalities and different interests. If your dog is a couch potato we have Netflix, if your dog enjoys long walks on the beach we have a near by park that we walk to, and for those who are more timid and scared we have plenty of places to cover up and burrow in.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, we had labrador retrievers, where I helped with the day-to-day care, training, and even helped raise liters of puppies. I have volunteer at the local SPCA. In 2019, I adopted my dog, Gus. With Gus, I learned patience from having adopted a rescue. My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play! She can be rambunctious so if your dog is mellow, she will get on their nerves. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. Nothing phases me - I can administer medication and subcutaneous fluids and can follow complicated feeding instructions - some of our furry friends are finicky! I love the bond formed when walking dogs - it's very special. My home is pet-friendly, with a small fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have a lovely time and I will be thrilled to take care of them! I am a realtor with a very flexible work schedule so there will be a lot of 1:1 time with your pet. We have sidewalks everywhere and a dog park within walking distance (only if you give the ok). I set an alarm and feed them breakfast and dinner consistently at the same time - it typically provides a calming effect when staying in a new place. I can let them out first AM in the backyard and after that it will be walks in and outside of Bermuda Bay, with lots of great sniffs!
About: Loved dogs my whole life and got my first one at age 24- five years ago, enjoy taking my dog to the beach and on walks near water. He is pretty high energy so I’m very accustomed to dogs that need constant stimulation and love :) I work remotely 8-5 Monday thru Friday but have lunch breaks and other breaks throughout the day to help let out or walk pets nearby or stay overnight when needed. I have weekend availability as well. I have a fenced backyard and typically walk my dog twice a day and let him run on beach in evenings while playing fetch in the waves. I’ve watched dogs aged 7 weeks old to 15 years old and comfortable with all ages in between :)

“She was awesome and super last minuite booking. My previous sitter back home bailed so i brought him to the beach, the house we stayed at wasnt super dog friendly so i reached out to gloria and she was willing to keep him for 3 days and the best part is he came back tired.”
“Christianna was willing to keep our black lab Tazz over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were pleased that Christianna helped us out at the last minute and was flexible about the drop off and pick-up of our pet. The backyard is very large and has a 6' high wooden fence. Tazz seemed happy in all the photos shared over the seven day period. She was happy and healthy when we returned to pick her up. We have discovered that dropping Tazz off in Elizabeth City as we head north to Washington DC adds only 15 minutes one way to the drive. I would definitely leave Tazz with Christianna again.”

“Flannery is phenomenal! Rodi, my one year old Yorkie, wants attention and to play all day long. Flannery kept Rodi occupied with new experiences throughout Flannery’s daytime and evening activities. I’m grateful the dog was not left alone. The biggest compliment I can give Flannery is that when I picked the dog up, I barely got a greeting. This behavior tells me the dog had a wonderful time - without me! I highly recommend Flannery and if I need doggie daycare in the future I will certainly contact her. Thank you Flannery!”
“Theresa & Phil we’re so great with my dog Kailo! We were on a weekend getaway in the outer banks and they were quick to say yes when we requested a booking! They welcomed us into their home to make sure all of the dogs got along well and took Kailo in as one of their own! They have a huge backyard and three wonderful dogs. Theresa sent pictures and updates all weekend. Kailo was having trouble eating and she gave him some of her own dog food to eat. They even sent us home with some extra food and treats! I would 100% recommend sending your fur baby to them to take care of! They were amazing ?”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! Hope to hear from you!! 🤗 I can care for your pet(s) in my home or yours. Whichever you prefer. I promise I will always make sure that they feel comfortable, loved, and happy.
