“Abs was great with our old man. She came over to check on him and take him for a little walk. He doesn’t walk for very long but she was great to stay with him for an hour and give him lots of snuggles! I would definitely ask her to take care of our bubs again in the future.”
2. Faith & Emanuel P.
“Faith has watched my pets for the past 2 1/2 years before she moved to NC and she is the only one I would trust with my animals. I work a lot, and sometimes overnight shifts and she was great with coming by throughout the night and making sure my 3 dogs were fed, and walked, and cared for. Her and her husband are genuinely very sweet people. Definitely recommend working with Faith!”
3. Laura F.

About: I am an experienced dog sitter with a special knack for caring for high maintenance sick senior dogs. For the past three years, I dedicated myself to providing compassionate and attentive care to a beloved furry friend in need. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and I have been fortunate enough to have them in my life since childhood. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have also watched over the furry family members of friends, ensuring they receive the same level of love and care as my own. While my current lifestyle of travel prevents me from having a dog of my own, I am eager to offer my services as a rover dog sitter to help provide peace of mind to dog owners in need of reliable and loving care for their pets. With me, you can rest assured that your furry friend will be in good hands and treated like a member of my own family. I work a few small odd end jobs that give me a flexible schedule. I teach yoga, work part time on my computer at home, and very part time in a local shop. I am flexible! Currently my yard is unfenced so I will do best coming to you! However, I am close to Nags Head Woods and the beach for fun pup outings!
6. Khayla P.
“Khayla did such a great job taking care of Hibiscus! She was flexible, showed up on time, communicated well, sent great photos, and followed instructions. I will book her in the future, she is fantastic!”
7. LYNDSAY B.
“Lyndsay was awesome. We reached out last minute to see if she could watch our girl and she was very accommodating. She was very thorough during the meet and greet and relaxed any worries I had about leaving McKenna for the day. We received pictures and descriptive updates which made our time away even more enjoyable knowing she was in great hands. We will certainly reach out to Lindsay again for her services!”
8. Madison H.
“Madison has always been a pet lover from an early age. That quality has continued as she has grown older and has pets of her own. She is caring, friendly, and loves animals. Madison loves her pets unconditionally and has provided the best care for them. She is trustworthy, reliable and spends many hours playing and exercising her pets. I would highly recommend Madison for any pet sitting needs for your company!”
9. Eyan E.
“Eyan has taken care of our Great Dane,Ruby, since she was a young puppy. Eyan walks her, feeds her, stays with her at night, bathes her if she jumps in the mud and leaves her happy. We always feel comfortable when we have to be gone because he takes care of her like she belongs to him. ”
10. Shari T.
“Absolutely recommend Shari. Was not sure about having someone I hadn't met previously watch my dog while I was out of town on a business trip. That quickly changed as soon as I met her I felt like I was leaving my Toby with family. She took great care of him and is now my ongoing pet sitter while I'm away. Couldn't be happier with the care she gives him and he's always happy to see her.”
11. Jaime V.
“Jaime is very responsible, very dependable and very good with my two high energy dogs. My dogs love when she comes over to walk them or stay with them. She comes highly recommended as a loving pet caregiver.”
12. Devan F.
“Devan is very responsible and follows directives for individual circumstances and caters to special needs. Devan has good time management skills and flexible schedule as well as a general caring demeanor.”
13. Jessica & Earl S.
“Jessica and Earl are two of the most responsible and dependable people I have ever known. They are committed to excellence in everything they do whether it is helping impoverished children in Nicaragua or helping out neighbors in their own community.”
14. Tracy D.
“Tracy is a loving and caring lady who is passionate about dogs. I have known two of her corgis, Boomer and Teddy, and they won the lottery when it came to DogMoms. She takes the best of care of her dogs, and any dogs in her care. We became friends after my corgi Reilly was attacked by another dog; she checked in with me often, even drove several hours to meet us after he had recovered. She has a big heart and would do anything to keep her dogs safe, happy, and healthy. I can think of no one I would trust more to love and care for my dogs the way I do.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since i was 8 years old. I’ve worked at vet clinics, hospitals, and kennels for 8 years and have an arsenal of animal welfare knowledge. I am comfortable handling cats, dogs, and exotic animals of all shapes and sizes! As a recent college grad, I am filling my time off before grad school pet sitting. This is my only focus at the moment so my availability is completely open every day. Preferably I am available after 10 AM because I have my own animals to take care of. I have a large fenced in yard and an extremely friendly dog to keep yours company, as well as a happy cat! I also have a large car that can easily transport your pet(s) if needed. I make sure to take care of my animals, and others, by providing lots of love, affection, and mental stimulation to provide the best experience possible for the animals I work with.

About: I have taken care of pets ever since a senior in HS. I have provided my services to friends, family, and neighbors. I usually send picture/text message updates to my clients during my stay. I'm currently a college student at my local college. My degree is in Medical Assisting! I mostly have online classes, which helps my schedule be more flexible. I can easily crate the pup/s if that is what the pet owners wish for me to do. I mostly offer drop-in services and stay at the original home for pet comfort.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. Growing up we always had multiple dogs in the house and then later a couple of cats. When I was 19 I got my very own puppy, a pit mix named Ozzy. He taught me a lot about responsibility and love. In 2019 I got another puppy, this time a bossy little dachshund named Beans. He was a little bit tougher to train as he is very stubborn but also extremely food motivated :) Sadly, Ozzy passed away at the beginning of 2023 leaving me and his brother Beans heartbroken. After Ozzy passed I connected with a rescue in Virginia Beach and started doing “puppy sleepovers”. Taking time 1-2 puppies for a few nights at a time to get them out of the shelter for a bit to free up space at the shelter and to socialize them. My favorite thing to do with dogs is to get them outside & active! Whether that means runs on the beach, walks around the neighborhood, or just fetch in the yard :) I’m down to go slow with a senior pup or run around like crazy with a young energetic dog. I am in between jobs at the moment as I am just now moving to the Outer Banks permanently after splitting my time between here and Norfolk for the last few years. I will always care for your pets as if they were my own. Safety is huge for me. Keeping them on a leash when not in an enclosed area.
18. Tori S.
“Tori is wonderful with dogs. She often cares for our 3 year old, high energy, but anxious lab-mix, Dakota. She is understanding of our dogs individual quirks and is also good about reinforcing trained behaviors. Dakota is around 70 lbs and very strong, but Tori has no issues taking him on long walks and horsing around with him. She is a caring and compassionate animal lover!”
19. Kayla H.
“Kayla is an absolute GEM ! Our dog loves her... I think more than she loves us ! Her passion for animals is clear and she's a responsible caregiver.”
