About: I grew up with dogs my entire life! My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. She gets along well with all dogs and loves to play! She can be rambunctious so if your dog is mellow, she will get on their nerves. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. Nothing phases me - I can administer medication and subcutaneous fluids and can follow complicated feeding instructions - some of our furry friends are finicky! I love the bond formed when walking dogs - it's very special. My home is pet-friendly, with a small fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have a lovely time and I will be thrilled to take care of them! I am a realtor with a very flexible work schedule so there will be a lot of 1:1 time with your pet. We have sidewalks everywhere and a dog park within walking distance (only if you give the ok). I set an alarm and feed them breakfast and dinner consistently at the same time - it typically provides a calming effect when staying in a new place. I can let them out first AM in the backyard and after that it will be walks in and outside of Bermuda Bay, with lots of great sniffs!

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals my entire life from dogs all the way to alpacas! I grew up riding and taking care of horses since I was 6 which came with learning about how different animals communicate. I also grew up with 2 Jack Russell’s who were both my best friends until they passed from old age. I am luckily the only member of my family who isn’t allergic to cats, I think it’s because my grandmother had 20+ cats when I was a kid, and I made it my personal goal to befriend every single one. I love animals and I promise I will love your dog, cat, fish, snake, etc just as much! If you do happen to have a pet that is not a dog that needs to be watched let me know, and we can work something out! I currently work full time at a fishing pier Monday through Friday and work part time as a server, and do kayak tours on the side, so this is also a part time gig. I want as much time hanging out with your fluffy friend as you do, so please request at least a week before your visit to the Outer Banks or if you live full time here. I have a lot of green space in my neighborhood for long walks on leash, and I live with my boyfriends 4 year old golden retriever named Axel (the boyfriend too) and often bring him on many adventures with my rover returnees.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12, when I got my very first pup — and I’ve been the go-to dog person ever since. Friends and family always count on me to provide loving, dependable care, whether it’s a weekend getaway, daily walks, or a fun-filled playdate. What sets me apart is the personal attention I give to each dog — I treat them like family, not just another booking. Every pup gets love, play, and plenty of tail wags while you’re away! I am in between jobs right now so I have plenty of time to have play dates with your pups! I am fully available for dog walks, boarding, and drop-ins to show your dogos some love. I appreciate every opportunity I get to take care of your furry family. I am very respectful and trustworthy in client's homes. I can easily accompany your dog in their own space to make them feel safe and relaxed while you're away. Whether you’re heading out for a day or a week, you can relax knowing your best friend is safe, happy, and in trusted hands.

About: I’ll love your dogs like they’re my own 🫶🏼 I have a Shiba/Border Collie mix at home and I grew up with Labs, German Shepards, Dachshunds, & Yorkies. I’m currently unemployed. I was laid off from my corporate job due to government budget cuts. I am actively looking for a summer job & I love dogs. I have a fenced in yard at home. My dog LOVES playing frisbee! We also go for long walks around the neighborhood and on the beach.

About: Foster mom of 1! Most of my free time is spent walking dogs at the shelter so I have lots of experience with every type of dog! My parents run a pet care business and I often help them with daily walks as well as overnight stays. I live on a horse farm and have extensive experience caring for livestock as well as household pets. I work at one of our local mountains Saturday- Tuesday. I’m happy to drop in after work if your pup needs, but I’m also available all day Wednesday-Friday! My pup is a recent foster who prefers some space when he’s outside so I often let him out first thing in the morning, then we do a 20-30 minute walk before having breakfast and often lounging around the house until we go outside to get some exercise in the early afternoon.

At this time, I can provide in-home visits and dog walking with the possibility of boarding in the near future. I work full-time during the week however I do work from home so I have some flexibility as to how I schedule my day of course depending on mandatory meetings. About: I absolutely love dogs and cats and have over 13 years of experience with my own dog as well as taking care of family and friends pets! I have lived with and worked on training with a number of dogs and cats and feel very confident in my abilities with all animals. I have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to prioritize house and pet sitting. I currently work remotely so I am able to accept same day bookings depending on my schedule - but this allows me to make a schedule change very easily! I respect and love each pet as if it were my own. I know routines and expectations are very important to animals, so being able to accommodate to their routine is very important, as well as being able to read their body language and respect their needs.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals basically my entire life. I always had a family dog in my childhood home. My friends, family, neighbors, and strangers (who later on became friends) have relied on me for care for their animals!! I’m currently working full time M-F but am always done at 5, work remote 3 days a week and I am always off the weekends. I live pretty centralized so I am pretty flexible and available! I can provide some LOCAL excellent references as well. Please reach out :) I also make sure there is a leash on the dog or fenced in area before the dog goes outside/the door is opened in order for the dogs safety.

“There’s no one else that I would trust with my pets like Flannery! She is so knowledgeable and caring, a true animal lover. I have three dogs and a cat, two old senior dogs and one young pup and cat. She’s so gentle with my older dogs, but can still give the young ones the right amount of attention and exercise! I was also impressed to learn she’s not only good with dogs and cats, but animals of all sorts! She’s lived on a ranch and worked with horses her whole life. HIGHLY recommend!!”
