“Best communication! Sweetest pictures. It’s hard to be away but necessary sometimes, and great care for your pets makes so much difference in comfort. Thank you so much!”
3. Eileen C.
“It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say Eileen was born to take care of animals. In her home, growing up, in her part-time jobs and volunteering, in her education and now in her CAREER, she is literally an animal caretaker. Even as a teen, Eileen was responsible and mature beyond her years. I trusted her with my kitties… not just with feeding them and making sure they weren’t lonely, but with medication administration, insulin injections and asthma treatments. She’s now a lovely young adult, and I only WISH she lived near enough to be MY Rover person!”

8. Amanda E.
“Amanda was wonderful watching my dog he's a pitt that's been with us for 12 years since he was born so he's my baby and he's on a schedule lol. But she definitely did everything as expected and beyond. She even watched our house to make sure everything was safe. Amanda will be our go to when we go out of town or just a day.”
9. Ann D.
“I would highly recommend Ann and plan to use her dog walking services in the future. She provided detailed updates and pictures each session. Could tell that our Ace was well cared for. Thanks so much Ann”
10. Shari T.
“Absolutely recommend Shari. Was not sure about having someone I hadn't met previously watch my dog while I was out of town on a business trip. That quickly changed as soon as I met her I felt like I was leaving my Toby with family. She took great care of him and is now my ongoing pet sitter while I'm away. Couldn't be happier with the care she gives him and he's always happy to see her.”
11. Madison P.
About: I have experience taking care of both dogs, cats, and other animals. As well as, I have 3+ years of professional animal care and wellbeing. I work full-time Thursday through Monday and will be away from your pet during those hours. However, if your home is close by I will run over there during lunch breaks. I am available every day after work to provide walks, play, and potty breaks. I understand how important it is for an animal to receive care and attention, especially when the owner is out of town. I am well prepared to sit and love on, and play with a pet to make sure they feel comfortable until their parents get back!
12. Cynthia M.
“Cindy went above and beyond to make sure that myself and my pooch were comfortable. Its obvious that Cindy truly understands dogs needs- she gave Yossi lots of exercise and stimulation and when he was tired and she could sense that, she let him rest. She sent lots of pictures so I knew he was in good hands... she has great communication with humans and great communication with animals too. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”
13. Flannery S.
“Flannery is so sweet and caring as a person and when it comes to animals! I would trust her with all my pets! She’s a big animal lover, both cats and dogs, and will go out of her way to ensure animals are feeling loved and cared for.”
14. Emily M.
“Emily was wonderful! She kept me informed when she arrived and left. We enjoyed seeing the pictures Emily sent of our two dogs and know they were taken care of with love.”
15. Blair M.
“Blair has been excellent with both of our pugs. One was elderly and required medication, and Blair was incredible with keeping him on schedule and adapting to his needs. Our dogs both run right to her every time they see her again. You can tell they love her, and we love the care she gives them.”
16. Madison H.
“My “kids” were well cared for by Madison. We came home to 2 content cats. Madison communicated with us during the visits and provided us input, ie keeping our mostly outdoor cat in for the night since it was supposed to be very cold that night. We will use her again!”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. Growing up we always had multiple dogs in the house and then later a couple of cats. When I was 19 I got my very own puppy, a pit mix named Ozzy. He taught me a lot about responsibility and love. In 2019 I got another puppy, this time a bossy little dachshund named Beans. He was a little bit tougher to train as he is very stubborn but also extremely food motivated :) Sadly, Ozzy passed away at the beginning of 2023 leaving me and his brother Beans heartbroken. After Ozzy passed I connected with a rescue in Virginia Beach and started doing “puppy sleepovers”. Taking time 1-2 puppies for a few nights at a time to get them out of the shelter for a bit to free up space at the shelter and to socialize them. My favorite thing to do with dogs is to get them outside & active! Whether that means runs on the beach, walks around the neighborhood, or just fetch in the yard :) I’m down to go slow with a senior pup or run around like crazy with a young energetic dog. I am in between jobs at the moment as I am just now moving to the Outer Banks permanently after splitting my time between here and Norfolk for the last few years. I will always care for your pets as if they were my own. Safety is huge for me. Keeping them on a leash when not in an enclosed area.
18. Shannon M.
“Shannon is extremely hard working, patient, honest and practices good communication. I strongly recommend for the reasons above as well as reliability! Thank you, Shannon.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since i was 8 years old. I’ve worked at vet clinics, hospitals, and kennels for 8 years and have an arsenal of animal welfare knowledge. I am comfortable handling cats, dogs, and exotic animals of all shapes and sizes! As a recent college grad, I am filling my time off before grad school pet sitting. This is my only focus at the moment so my availability is completely open every day. Preferably I am available after 10 AM because I have my own animals to take care of. I have a large fenced in yard and an extremely friendly dog to keep yours company, as well as a happy cat! I also have a large car that can easily transport your pet(s) if needed. I make sure to take care of my animals, and others, by providing lots of love, affection, and mental stimulation to provide the best experience possible for the animals I work with.
