About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s had dogs my entire life—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I adopted Remington and Mitra, two wonderful mixed-breed brothers, six years ago. They’re full of love, energy, and just the right amount of drama. Our youngest is Copper, a goofy, lovable bloodhound who’s just turning one and keeping us all on our toes. I’m very comfortable with large breeds and active dogs, and I frequently host visits from the neighborhood pups, too. I also care for a bearded dragon and have experience with reptiles and birds—so no matter the species, I’m here to make sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’d love to help with quick check in to make sure water bowls are full and little walks or runs in the backyard as needed Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. At home, I use kennels appropriately to ensure structure and safety—especially during mealtimes or when dogs need space to decompress. I closely monitor interactions between pets and always follow your care instructions to make sure your animal feels secure, calm, and well cared for.

“Alyssa is fantastic! Very responsive and kind. What a relief to find someone who loves dogs as much as we do. Our dog is pretty picky about who he likes and he adores her!”

“Amanda goes above and beyond with every walk! My dog is crazy so getting photos of him is tough. She brought her real camera along to snag a picture for me in sport mode. Cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I have taken care of family and family friend's dogs before. I can tailor my check-ins or stay to your dog's needs and personality. One dog I have taken care of did need tracking and administering of oral medication in pill form morning and night. I also taught my grandparents dog a couple tricks as a puppy. No guarantees for you, but I can try my best. I just graduated from college, so I am free at almost any daylight hours, depending on your needs and wants for walks and check-ins. For in-house sitting, I am free most days, including weekends. I will do a walk-through of the house with you before in-house sits or check-ins. I will record any expectations for medications, potty breaks, and exercise. When you are gone, I will make sure to follow the list and be sure that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and safety gates and crates are secured.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, from energetic puppies to wise seniors. I’m patient, reliable, and deeply passionate about animals. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just being a comforting presence while you’re away, I tailor my care to your pet’s needs. I prioritize safety, routine, and making sure your dog feels secure and loved while you’re gone. Caring for pets is a natural and fulfilling part of my everyday life. I structure my days around their needs—whether it’s morning walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or medication. I enjoy staying active, so walking dogs or spending time outdoors with them fits in perfectly. I also make time for quiet bonding moments like brushing or cuddling, especially for senior pets or those who need extra comfort. Pet care isn’t a task for me—it’s a part of how I start and end each day with purpose and joy. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine—feeding times, walk schedules, and play preferences—so they feel secure and comfortable. In my home, pets have plenty of space to relax, play, and get one-on-one attention throughout the day. If I’m in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect, ensuring your pet gets consistent companionship and care while keeping things clean and tidy. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any special needs so your pet always feels at ease.

About: Sure! Here’s a polished version of your bio for your Rover dog-sitting page: Hello and welcome! Our family loves to have extra pets around, and we’re excited to welcome your dog into our home. We’re a lively, loving household with kids ranging from ages 4 to 13, so there's always something happening here! With so many people around, your pup will never feel alone. We also have a dog, Stella, who we adopted in 2015 when she was just six weeks old—she's now a happy nine-year-old, and she'd love some new company. We also have a cat, so your pet will be in good company. Our home is smoke-free and kid-friendly, with a fully fenced-in backyard for your dog to play in as much as they like. I have experience walking dogs with Wag since I moved to the area in 2015, and I’ve always loved caring for animals. My cousin, who lives with us, is like a bonus parent and has a great way with both pets and kids, so rest assured, your pup will be well taken care of by a team of caring hands! I work in Matthews three days a week and from home in Concord two days a week, so there’s always someone here. You might drop off or pick up your dog with me, my husband James, or my cousin Meghan. If you're farther away, I'm happy to coordinate a convenient meet-up for drop-off or pick-up. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! We're happy to do whatever we can to make your pup comfortable. If you have a set feeding schedule please let me know. I feed my dog around 7am and 7pm. The backyard is totally fenced in (the front is only partial). I treat each dog the way I would treat my own. My kids get excited about each new dog that arrives but generally keep to themselves. They like to play, but only when the dog initiates it. if a pup is more reserved, the kids will let them be.

About: I've taken care of many different types of dogs since I was a kid. I also have a couple fur babies of my own! I am a lover of all animals and will provide quality care for your babies like they are my own! I have dog sat for friends, family, and neighbors before. I'm currently a full-time student in college but my schedule is very flexible due to not have classes all day. I normally do my pet care during breaks between classes, in the morning, and once school is done for the day. I have a friendly dog of my own that your fur baby is more than welcome to play with. I have multiple leashes that can be used, and can easily crate your dog if needed in a kennel if necessary. I come with supplies of my own for walks and such if needed. If a dog happens to be reactive, I will make sure to do what is comfortable for them!

“Rachel was great with my dog Chance (60 lb Husky/ lab mix). I recently visited the Charlotte area and brought Chance with me. I was very nervous as I had not used Rover before and we were far from home. Rachel texted the day before to confirm, which put my mind at ease. Chance loved Rachel immediately. She was kind, loving and patient with Chance. She had excellent control over him on his walks and made his safety top priority. She was a strong communicator who gave us updates and pictures. If I ever return to Charlotte and need a dog walker or sitter, I would definitely rebook Rachel. I highly recommend her! 5 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ from me and Chance!!!”

“Angela was a lifesaver when my husband and I both became ill and unable to walk our pampered pup. Angela tested when en route, was always on time, exceeded the contracted time for walks, and uncomplaining walked our dog, rain or shine. I can’t recommend her highly enough!”

About: Hi! I’m Ava, a friendly, dependable, communicative, responsible, honest, and well-organized individual who has been adoring and connecting with animals all of her life. If you're looking for someone with knowledge, experience, passion, and a huge heart to take care of your loved one(s), look no further. I will go above and beyond for you and your pet(s)! I began pet sitting at the age of 13, thanks to a few handmade flyers I'd posted around town; however, according to family, I started letting our dogs out to potty just about as soon as I was able to walk to the door, still in diapers. I grew up and live on a small farm in Gold Hill, just north of Concord. We currently have four cats (a Ragdoll/Siamese mix, a torbi, a diluted torbi, and a tabby), three dogs (a miniature Poodle, an Australian Cattle Dog, and a Yorkie/Chihuahua mix), a rabbit, two horses, two goats, and chickens. We have also had birds and fish in the past. I graduated from Gray Stone Day School (where I was a tutor, club treasurer, and captain and varsity member of the cross country and track teams) in 2019 and am currently a sophomore at Stanly Community College where I am taking online classes. I have volunteered for Novant Health, assisting patients in their Emergency Room and children and babies in their Child Development Center and for Atrium Health, assisting with one of their summer programs for children. I have worked as a camp counselor at various children’s camps, as a zookeeper tending to bears, owls, raccoons, skunks, chinchillas, lizards, venomous snakes, etc. at a small zoo, and as the sole receptionist and a bather at an award-winning grooming salon where I was responsible for transactions, scheduling, record-keeping, virtual and in-person exchanges with clients, closing, bathing, holding and calming aggressive or anxious dogs, walking dogs to and from their owners and designated areas, etc. I occasionally edit, design, etc. for clients remotely via Upwork as well. I work at Mac Tabby Cat Café in downtown Concord. My shifts are anywhere from 5-9 hours long and I receive my schedule 1-3 months in advance. Reach out to me and I will let you know if I am scheduled for any shifts on any of the dates you are interested in booking me on. If you are new to Rover use my code: AVAS39247 for $20 off your first booking! I update my calendar to reflect bookings, family events, doctor's appointments, etc. I tend to book up fairly quickly, so be sure to request and confirm a booking as soon as you are able; however, last-minute bookings are welcome surprises that I am sometimes able to work in, especially if there has been a cancellation or a booking has been left unconfirmed. All will be handled with care! I will love your pet(s) as if they were my own. I’ll chat with them, play with them, snooze with them, brush them, give them their favorite treats, etc., and you will receive pictures, videos, and honest, detailed updates throughout the day, or as often as you'd like. I absolutely love to clean so you can rest assured that I will leave your home even cleaner than I found it. I'm also happy to water your plants, bring in your mail, set out your trash for collection, etc.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and currently have five! I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m happy to take care of all ages! I hope you let me watch your fur baby! I am currently home for the summer from college and work part-time at a dog boarding establishment! My schedule is pretty flexible and can do overnights. We can talk about if that works for you and your pup! When watching your fur baby I’ll take them on walks, play with toys, and make sure they have a great time while you’re away! I’ll make sure to follow any guidelines given and take the best care of them!

About: I am an absolute pet lover. I will give your four legged family all the love and affection that they could possibly want. I own a German Shephard, lab, and possible husky mix. Unfortunately he does not play well with others, so I am able to handle more difficult dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and size of dogs along with any cats as well. I enjoy spending time with animals and have an absolute love for them. I am willing to do whatever is needed to make sure your pet is comfortable and taken care of. If your pet has any special needs I can take the time to learn anything that may help with making your family comfortable. I hope you'll consider me for your pet cares. I work a full time job Monday-Friday 8A-5P. So during the evenings and on weekends, I will always have you covered so you do not need to worry about your pets while you're away. I will follow all your set instructions on how your pets routine works. Play time, walking, and spending the need time with them to make sure they are loved.

About: I love to interact with animals, they will have exercise and lots of fun or cuddles if they are couch potatoes. I love all three of my dogs like they are my human children. I have always been an animal lover and would love to meet new pets around my area! I will provide the same care to your pets, as I do mine. I hope you give me the opportunity and entrust in me to love on your furry friend! My oldest boy is 7 with hip issues, so I have experience with senior dogs and know how to handle there every day care and limited exercise time. I work full time but I would be available on most Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays during lunch and after 5pm. I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Our neighborhood is private so dogs can’t wonder off into traffic or other peoples homes. I have three babies myself so your fur baby would have friends to play with.

About: I've grown up with animals all my life. Im comfortable with anything, from cats to all sizes of dogs. My family currently owns six dogs and six cats, ranging from elderly to special needs, so I'm definitely up-to-date on my skills! I've worked as a veterinary technician assistant for a emergency veterinary clinic so I'm comfortable with administering medications including under the skin injections and pills. Depending on the temperament of dog (or cat!) I'm more than willing to provide a pedicure during my stay! I also aim to provide check-in's and walks in addition to overnight care. I'm disabled and unable to work a normal 9-5, but your pet will recieve top quality care and plenty of attention. That being said, my schedule is very flexible. For most if not all jobs I'm available seven days a week with Thursdays and Sundays being my most tricky. Mid-mornings to early afternoons normally work better for me for check-ins and walks. I'm disabled and unable to work a normal 9-5 job, but I can guarantee top quality care. Whether it's hanging out at home or getting a pup cup, I'll be sure to update you regularly. Any rules or boundaries will be respected during long stays and I will pick up after both myself and your pet.

I have mainly had pit bulls. Dogs I understand are mans best friend and I am willing to work with you and your pet and respect your rules and take care of your pets as they were my own.
