“My cat was diagnosed with diabetes 2 weeks before my vacation. I was an emotional wreck and needed to find someone to take care of my baby while I was out of town. I scheduled a meet and greet with Melissa and instantly fell in love with her vibe. She took care of my fur baby for 3 and a half days. She came twice a day to feed and administer my cat insulin shots and cleaned her litter box. She made me feel comfortable and at ease with every check in appointment with detailed notes on how everything went. My cat is very standoffish, stubborn and a brat when I’m not around. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life growing up and now have one of my own. I have experience training dogs and I absolutely love animals. Big lover of all rescue dogs as well - my family has two rescue pitbulls living with my mom who I absolutely adore. I work from home and already have one pug that I care for so I have a natural routine for taking out dogs throughout the day and keeping them on a schedule. My building has a fenced bark park for the dogs to play. Otherwise they will be inside with me and my pug who absolutely LOVES other dogs. They’ll be walked regularly and my neighborhood is full of fresh grass and safe sidewalks

About: I used to work at a pet daycare/boarding facility a few years back, and it was my favorite job by far! I’ve done some care and boarding for family and close friends throughout the years. I’m ready to share the love with more fur-babies! I have a corporate job, but I stop by during lunch on a regular basis on weekdays. I’m available before 8am, at 12pm, and after 5pm. I am available all day on weekends. I have a big fenced back yard and tons of dog toys. My home is all hardwood flooring, so I generally have pets roaming freely if they feel comfortable.

About: I've been around animals all my life. Just recently lost our family cat of 14 years. My voice changes when I see a fur baby. They can cheer anyone up if your not in a great mood. Just a woman who enjoys being around fur babies. I am currently free and available for all hours. A have all days available as well. Also available for overnight stays as well. Just let me know and I'm there I have a two bedroom duplex. Plenty of space for the fur babies to roam around. Don't have a fence in backyard but it's Plenty of room for them to play outside in my backyard.
About: I volunteer in animal rescue shelters, so I’ve been around all kinds of pets. I also nursed a parvo puppy until the virus went away. I’m a pre-vet college student from Monday through Thursday, but I’m free during weekends to care of your fur babies. I usually walk large dogs from shelters, so I have experience with dog walking. I know all dogs are different, so I’ll make sure your pet isn’t over exercising. I also know bloating can happen, so I am cautious of how much water and food they’re consuming.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
