I travel often and have tried my little kittens vet a few times for boarding, but learned he was stuck in a small cubicle with all the sounds of other cats and dogs. He hated going there, hissed and kitten growled. Then I found a cat only boarder in Houston, and while he had more space, their largest condo, and was let out 2 or 3 times a day to play, the images they would send broke my heart, he looked so sad. So my daughter in San Diego said, dad, why don't you try Rover? So doing my research I found Amina, who had time to stay at my place with my little guy overnight, for 8 nights. Pictures she would send gave me so much piece while gone, he looked so comfortable and, well, at home. It is a little more costly, but to me, worth it to know he was no longer stressed out. He was a 1.5lb kitten found in the bushes at work, so we became close buddies after the Vet and I nursed him to good health. I give Amina 5+ stars, she was there for him, kept in contact with me, and made me so comfortable knowing my little guy was being well cared for. She's a wonderful person and my Tux took to her quickly, she obviously gained his trust quickly. Thank Amina, I'll reach out soon for some more Tux time.”

I have left my kitten Croissant with several cat sitters and boarders in the past, and nothing and no one has come close to giving me the peace of mind I had leaving my cat with her. Ariel looked after her for 9 days, at my place; by the end of the period, my cat felt Ariel was her mum! Croissant looked happy, healthy and well looked after. Also - the fact that Ariel left my place in mint condition and even showed the courtesy to do the laundry etc. was such a nice touch and very much appreciated. About: I have owed cats and dogs my entire life and see them as family. They add such joy to my life and I make sure that all animals are happy, well-attended to and comfortable. I currently have 4 cats and an Irish Wolfhound and they all get along surprisingly well. We typically watch our friends dogs when they are out of town, so my cats acclimate well to other animals in the house. They typically keep to themselves and stay in their cat room most of the day. My Irish Wolfhound, Pepperanne, is the sweetest, most gentle giant. Although she's no spring chicken (8 years old), she LOVES playing with other dogs, and yet, also doesn't overwhelm other dogs and gives them their space. I will love your pet like my own and make sure they feel comfortable during their stay. Although 5 animals might sound like a crazy household, I have a very calm home and everyone is respectful of their space and others. I work remotely and am home all day during the week and have lots of time to love on your pet. Weekend plans are typically local and I don't venture far to ensure your animal is comfortable, especially for any animals with separation anxiety. My home has plenty of space both inside and out. I have a very large fenced in back yard with plenty of space for your pet to explore, a very zoomies-friendly area. I live in a nice neighborhood, also, with plenty of non-busy streets to walk your pet when it's not too hot. I live close to the Bush Airport (IAH) (about 20 min away), so if you ever need a last minute sitter, I’m on the way to the airport and makes for an easy drop off and pick up!

About: I’m extremely experienced with all breeds due to my father breeding cane corsos and American bull dogs. Since I’ve relocated to Houston I have 2 dogs and my daughter loves all animals so this will give her the bonding time to play and gives you your time away as well. I am always home. So they won’t miss out on any attention, I am a full time student (online) so it really gives me the freedom to pet sit. I’m very attentive so I’ll give your fur babies exactly what they want whether it’s a walk, potty break or cuddles. If your dog has any special way of doing things I’ll be sure to follow your rules.

Inside, I provide toys, lick and sniff mats, treat puzzles, and a variety of kennel sizes to help pets stay comfortable and mentally stimulated. Safety is always my priority. About: I have fostered dogs and cared for both dogs and cats my entire life, and I genuinely enjoy helping people who need support with their furry sidekick while they are away. I am a pet parent myself to an anxious rescue puppy, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your animal. I work Monday through Friday but I am available to pet sit and house sit every weekend. I incorporate the pets routines into my schedule as needed. About: I've been a dog owner my whole life - over 50 years, all rescues in one way or another! I’m a reliable and calm pet sitter offering walks, drop-ins, and overnight care in the area. I’m especially great with: • Older dogs • Anxious or shy pets • Pets who do best with a steady, gentle approach I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care.
