“Truly exceptional in every way! We were pretty nervous about using rover for in-house sitting for the first time but Alexis made us feel so comfortable and made everything seamless. Most importantly, Bucky loved her right away and he is an excellent judge of character ☺️. Alexis sent lots of photos and even video updates so we knew he was doing great and being well cared for every day. It takes a special person to take on a very large dog in a new space and Alexis was everything we could hope for in a sitter. And she left our home looking perfect too! So grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a kind, considerate, and extremely competent sitter for their fur baby.”

About: I have enjoyed helping my parents and neighbors with animal and house sitting over the years and managed anywhere from 1 - 2 independent pets up to 5 pets at a time (dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, reptiles). I am currently a part-time student looking to extend my animal care experiences to pets in your home. I specialised in animal behavior while studying neuroscience at the Claremont Colleges and will be very attentive to your animals needs in my care. I also have experience administering topical/oral medications as scheduled. I am continuing my education part-time and available to help mostly afternoons. Please contact me 1-2 weeks in advance for HOUSE STAYS otherwise I am flexible to assist with regular potty breaks, walks, feeding, etc. with 1-2 days notice. When caring for animals in clients homes I will be sure to follow any set guidelines or recommendations provided to me. I enjoy meeting animals energy levels with exercise (walks, outdoor play), toys, training reinforcement, or simply good pets. I will be respectful of you and your animal's space to reduce stress and encourage normal/beneficial behaviors.

“Spencer was wonderful. Daily photos and words that gave us comfort that our Finn was doing well. I would hire him again and again. It’s been decades since we have needed a petsitter - and Spencer did everything to assure us he could handle the job.”

“Mallory is Wonderful!! This is our second time having Mallory over and she took such great care of our fur baby Bella. She even picked up and ensured Bella was given her eye drops daily. Mallory spent 8 days and 9 nights staying in our home and we are looking forward to having her back. We felt comfortable knowing Mallory was caring, gentle, and patient with Bella. 100 OUT 100 and highly recommend her!”

“Jenna is amazing! Jenna stayed at my house with my two dogs Luna and Penny while I was out of town at a work conference. Right when she arrived, she sent me an update, and sent lots of photos and updates throughout her entire stay. She was so sweet, attentive, and I could tell by the photos that my girls were super stoked to have her. Jenna took my pups on walks multiple times throughout the day, even when the weather was gross and rainy. When I came home, my dogs were completely relaxed and resting. Jenna even left a super sweet gift of a of drawing of my dogs, and a bag of trinkets that truly felt like it was given to me by an old friend. I’ll be reaching out to Jenna any time I need some help with my pups, and would recommend her to any of my friends and family.”

“It can definitely feel a little intimidating to invite someone you don’t know into your home—especially when they’ll be caring for your fur babies. But from the moment I met Asja, I felt completely at ease. She’s incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to learn about your animals and their unique needs. I left her with a detailed list of instructions, and she not only followed everything perfectly but went above and beyond. Throughout the day, she kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She made sure all the dogs got plenty of walks, helped with training our new rescue, and showered all the animals with love and attention. I’ll absolutely reach out to Asja again whenever I need pet care, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate.”

I’m currently working full time, so I’m available for full pet care on the weekends. However, if you need pet care and you are in a rush/in an emergency, feel free to reach out and I am always happy to accommodate when possible. I make sure that when taking care of pets in a clients home that everything is left spick and span— I’ll sometimes do light cleaning so that owners come home from their long trip to a sparkling home that smells fresh and clean. When taking care of pets in my home, it is the same way. I will always dedicate plenty of time to your fur babies and they will be with me wherever I go.

“Jawharrah is THE BEST! She’s been taking care of our senior, blind Chihuahua for a few years now, and we couldn’t be happier. Not only did Kathy take excellent care of the dogs, she helped my boy (Merle) manage through fireworks! I came home and braced myself during more fireworks following the holiday, only to find, Merle was not stressed over them at all. Not only that, he didn't bark as he usually does! What a surprise! Mia Jazmin W.
“Hi my name is Kendra Brady and I am the Education and Volunteer Coordinator at Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Mia has been a volunteer for a little over a year which required her to complete an orientation, live scan at the Sheriff's Dept., onboarding at the Health Dept.,TB testing at Natividad Medical Center and finally training at the shelter. She had been dedicated, responsible and reliable, especially since she is working around her college schedule to volunteer. She is extremely smart, able to follow directions, communicate clearly with me (if she needs to cancel a shift) and works well with other volunteers, not to mention the animals. She initially volunteered with cats but recently asked to become a dog companion, which required more training. Mia will only add to the value of your service that you provide. She is a superstar! Please call me at 831-455-5765 if you have other questions.”

“Zoe is an excellent dog/cat sitter, last February I was put of town on an emergency and she came to my rescue, no problem. I have a cat, twinkle, and a medium sized dog, buster, and they love her. She cleans their bowls, takes buster for walks and very affectionate with both. She has my approval 100%.”
