About: I’m just starting out on Rover, but I’ve grown up with dogs and been around them my whole life. I work remotely most days, so I am flexible to adjust my schedule to make sure your pet is well taken care of. The sillier and goofier your dog, the better! Whether your pet likes to go for long walks and play fetch or lounge around the house, you can be sure they will be in good hands while you’re away. I work a full-time job and am remote at least 3 days a week, so I am flexible to adjust my schedule to meet your dog’s needs. On the weekends I am looking for any excuse to be outside, so your pets will get plenty of time in the sun! My partner and I live in a house, with no other pets or children. Your pet will be my #1 priority! We have an open yard with plenty of shaded space, and some nice parks nearby. There is a neighbor that lives below us, so any dogs that bark very frequently may not be a great fit for us
“Jill was wonderful taking care of our dog with drop-in visits while we were away. Communication was great and she took care of our dog like she was her own. We are so glad to have found Jill and hope to book her for all of our needs going forward!”

“Isaac was great and communicated well! We had a last minute outing to see some family and didn’t want to leave Jolie for 8 hours. Isaac kept her great company and sent lots of pictures so we knew she was happy while we were out!”

“Nicole has been such an incredible help with Rufus. She’s been extremely reliable, responsive, and most importantly, Rufus adores her. Suggest Nicole to anyone looking for quality care of their pets, big or small!”

“Paula is great... my shy scaredy cat Leroy took to her quickly. I've used her services 3 times now and I will continue to in the future. She keeps the food and litter area very cl an and it's nice to come home & not fine cat litter tracked and a nice clean kitchen floor where the food bowls get placed.”

About: I’ve grown up in a house filled with dogs and cats my whole life. In the last year, I have turned taking care of animals into a part time gig and am looking to do more of it! I currently work some nights in the evening but usually fill my days with walks and drop ins and am looking to increase the amount of families I help. I promise to be very respectful of your home and take care of your pets the way I would hope someone would take care of mine.
“Elizabeth and her husband were excellant cat sitters! Lulu is a shy and anxious cat with some bathroom quirks but they were able to handle it with no issues and Lulu even came out to play once or twice! I am really grateful for their professional care of my cat. ☺️ thank you again!”

“Kristen was extremely responsive and helpful when we needed someone to check in on our pup last minute and our regular walkers were unavailable. She made time to stop by the day before to understand our dog’s routine and any other pertinent information. She was easy to get in touch with the day of the walk, and even kept me informed regarding some bad weather we had. I felt like my dog was happy and well taken care of with the pictures she included in the report card. Would recommend and use again!”

“Bridget was wonderful with our shy, asthmatic cat! She's a kind and communicative sitter, and our cat warmed right up. Bridget was able to give Bean her daily inhaler and was quick to identify when she needed her emergency inhaler. We would absolutely book Bridget again!”

I have hands-on experience supervising dogs of all sizes and energy levels, ensuring they stay safe, happy, and well cared for. With my experience, I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. Your baby will be treated like my own — spoiled with attention, responsibly cared for, and given lots of love! 🐾 My availability is the following: • Weekdays — 12 PM-2 PM and all day after 5 PM • Tues/Weds — ONLY 12 PM-2 PM • Fri/ Sat — After 2 PM • Sun — After 7 PM • House-sitting and boarding is available at all times (contact me for requested hours/ needs) My work schedules may fluctuate, so please consider booking and contacting me ahead of time! Thank you for understanding :) Walks, playtime, you name it! You and your pups’ well-being is my top priority. I have a friendly pomeranian, Kiwi, at home who has resided with 14+ foster dogs in the past. He, and his pals, are taken on walks throughout the day when needed and are constantly attended to and played with at home. My home has an open yard, so it is essential I keep your pup leashed up for mini potty breaks to prevent any incidents :) I own a crate if needed, extra bedding, and plenty of toys and snacks to keep your puppy happy! 🐶
“Literally could not ask for a better rover!!! James checked in on Finley last minute for us and was fantastic. He was incredibly attentive and great with communication. He made sure to keep me updated and let me know exactly how Finley was doing while I was away. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to do drop-ins!!!”

“Anne has done an amazing job with my little ones, making sure they were fed, had clean water, had their daily portion of favorite snacks/veggies and daily portion of cuddles. We love her !”

“Donna was very reliable, caring, communicative and responsible. She is great with animals, even my shy cat warmed up to her very quickly first at our meet and greet and then during my time away. Highly recommend her services, will book her again.”

Being respectful of clients homes and belonging is very important and a critical part of my approach to taking care of their pet
“Mike immediately was one of Freddy’s favorite humans. He had a natural positive energy when he met Freddy for the first time and it’s still like that. He’s communicative and shows up on time. It’s great to have someone reliable to take care of our furry family member while we’re working.”

“Lindsay set my mind and heart completely at ease as she took such attentive care of my cat Phoebe! It was my first time leaving Phoebe for an extended amount of time and I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I got excellent pics and updates along the way. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!!”

Katy is excellent with our 2 year old Aussie. She is on time and flexible. She helped me out with our dog when my husband was in the hospital and I will be forever grateful for her care and concern during that difficult time. It brought me peace knowing that our dog was being well cared for when we could not be there to do it. Thanks Katy!

Vanessa was fantastic and professional when she came to our house to walk our dog Roxy. She was prompt, able to calmly interact with our special needs dog and provided multiple pictures and updates during her one hour stay! We will be using her as a regular sitter from now on!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
