“Heather did a fantastic job caring for my 2 cats while I was away for 5 days. I was impressed by how calm and well-cared for they were when I arrived back home. Heather is an amazing person, and I highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a caring and responsible pet sitter.”

“We love Erinn! She has cared for my dog Oliver a few weekends now, and he is the only “stranger” he allows to get near him. She formed a bond with him and makes him comfortable while I have to be away. Very grateful for her!”

“Julianne did a wonderful job looking after our shy cat- she won her over right away! I loved getting photos of each visit and not having to worry about her all weekend.”

“Kyra was lovely. She arrive promptly and was even willing to stay a little longer when I needed. She was flexible, as the service I was asking for was more akin to babysitting than the other services on the list and she even went for a 30 minute walk with us at the beginning to get to know my puppy, which I realized after probably should have been an upcharge but she didn't even mention it. She was very responsive when I texted with info/questions while my pup was with her. Similarly, she was responsive as I was reaching out and booking her last minute, only a few hours before my event.”

“Always dependable”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs of all sizes and breeds from puppies to seniors. Having owned and helped family take care of dogs from the time I was young, I’ve worked and lived with all temperaments and approach all dogs in a loving manner. There will also be no shortage of picture updates while I care for your pup. I work from home 3 days a week (Monday and Friday with flexibility for your schedule Tuesday-Thursday). I’m available on weekends and can board on weekdays and weekends. I live in a very dog friendly apartment with a 10 lbs. dog of my own who has never met a dog he didn’t like. I can easily crate your pup or let them roam free in the space based on your preferences and your dog’s needs.

About: I've trained my dog myself from 16 weeks old to now by taking four separate courses at St. Huberts. He has allergies to food and the environment, so I'm well-versed with these special care needs. My family is not experienced with dogs, so I have trained my dog to behave in order to be allowed around them. I take my own dog for at 30-60 minute walks two times a day over the weekend and after work during the week. Our walks are very structured, and I allow him to have sniffing breaks frequently where appropriate. We work on training every walk and play fetch for additional stimulation. I don't have a yard, but I play fetch and tug in my home to do make sure they get stimulation. I usually take my little guy to the nearby park every day. I will follow whatever rules you have set forth.

About: Ever since I was a kid, dogs have always held a special place in my heart. At the young age of 8, my aunt started leaving her 2 small dogs in my care while she worked noons-nights and weekends. Growing up, my neighbors would often go on trips throughout the years and leave their dog with us for a few days-weeks. At 14, my life changed forever following the adoption of Philly, our first dog and the Sun of our home! A few years later, Philly was castrated and I was by his side throughout every step of the way. I drove him to every appointment. I conceptualized and rearranged our living room to give him a roomy enclosed area to prevent too much movement and to stay near his loved ones. I’d sleep on the couch to make sure he’d have no complications overnights. I’d prepare soft meals for him to keep him nourished but not too full as he couldn’t go out for walks for the first few days. I created a log sheet to track his medications as I gave them to him throughout the day and oversaw his entire recovery process. One April afternoon in 2024, my cousin brought home a 2-month-old puppy out of the blue! He trusted and relied on me to foster and train my newfound nephew while he worked during the day as well as some nights when he’d work his second job. He’s grown quite a bit in just a year, and is definitely in the top 5 for the most energetic dogs I’ve ever met! Nevertheless, I love my nephew very much! My most recent experience was last year when I looked after a dog for almost 2 weeks (the fluffy white Bichon Frise often seen alongside Philly in my profile). His owners were so satisfied with my wholehearted care, they booked again a few months later. I’m currently working as an independent-contractor and dog care is part of my everyday life with Philly. It would be my pleasure to take care of your fur baby! I make it my priority to follow the schedule/routine you have in place for your dog. Doors will remain closed until your dog is on their leash. My house has an enclosed front and rear porch with secure doors, so fear not, it’s highly unlikely your child will get loose! I always give new dogs time to settle before meeting Philly to make sure they don't get off on the wrong paw. If they’re unable to get along, they will remain separated. If you plan on boarding your dog with me, they will be sleeping beside me in my room, in their bed or mine (whichever is preferred).

I look forward to meeting your pets!

I’d love to be your pets next best friend! I’m currently between jobs and have availability 7 days a week throughout the day. Mornings. Evenings. Afternoons. Aside from a few online courses, my schedule is flexible enough to work around your pets routine! All the animals I’ve looked after, I treat as if they’re my own. I’m on the floor playing, giving them kisses, and showing them all the love. “Dom is a truly reliable and compassionate pet sitter who has watched my French bulldog overnight on several occasions. My pup can struggle with separation anxiety, but Dom has always handled him with patience, care, and a calming presence that puts both of us at ease. I always know my dog is in great hands when he’s with Dom. As a close friend, I’ve also had the chance to watch Dom raise and train his own very energetic puppy. His consistency, patience, and understanding of dog behavior really shine through—he’s a natural with animals and always puts their well-being first. I highly recommend Dom to anyone looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and genuinely caring sitter!”

18. Santiago C.
“When I was 10 years old, I begged my parents for a puppy—that’s how we got Philly. Like many kids, I didn’t fully understand how much responsibility came with caring for a dog. But that’s when my brother Santi really stepped up. From the very beginning, Santi took on the role of Philly’s caregiver without being asked, and he has handled it with patience, love, and a deep sense of responsibility. Now that I’m older and away at college for most of the year, I always leave Philly in Santi’s care because it gives me the peace of mind that he will receive the most special and loving care under Santi’s watch. Santi knows Philly’s routines, administers his medications for various health issues, and most importantly, gives him the same level of love and attention that I would give him myself. Having been by Philly’s side through every stage of his life—from puppyhood to his current senior years—Santi understands what it takes to provide tailored, quality care. Santi has shown time and time again that he’s not just good with dogs—he’s devoted, reliable, and genuinely caring. Any dog would be lucky to have Santi in their life.”
