“Courtney did a wonderful job with my very people selective senior dog. She was wonderful at the meet and greet, and I had zero concerns about her interacting with Miley. I will definitely have Courtney walk Miley again!”

“Julia has been helping me transition my new 5 month lab/boxer puppy to his new home with her drop in visits. She’s very eager to help practice basic commands, crate train, and get my pup comfortable walking around his new neighborhood. Julia asks great questions, communicates quickly, is flexible, and made me feel comfortable leaving my pup for the first time!”

“Hannah was looking after our new cat and he is shy and not used to being alone. She spent an hour with him each evening—him hiding, her talking to him. It took 4 days until he was brave enough to come out. I am so grateful for her patience and care. Highly recommend!”

“He is knowledgeable about dogs and has a genuine interest in animalss. When our schedule had to be adjusted, he was easy to communicate with. it was a relief to have pet assistance that was reliable.”

“Elba was amazing. We have 2 cats who both need medication, and one is a little spitfire. She was reliable and managed to give the cats their meds twice a day as we asked! Her pictures were wonderful too.”

About: I've loved caring for pets my entire life! My mother was a vet tech who taught me everything I needed to know about caring for animals. I have two senior dachshunds adopted from rescues and have rehabilitated them to be sweet socialized canine citizens. I love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I work a hybrid office job which gives me some flexibility for assisting with your pets! I can walk or visit with your pets in the evenings on weekdays, or anytime on weekends. Your pet will receive care according to their unique needs while I'm visiting with them. Play, feeding, affection, or exercise defined by what you would want to be doing for them yourself.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom who truly gets how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I have a reactive, fear-based pup myself, so I completely understand the nerves that come with finding the right person to care for your pet. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to treat your dog just like family, because that’s exactly what they are. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years. I’ve also fostered pups on and off for the last 5 years—from high-energy goofballs to shy, shut-down dogs who just need someone to sit on the floor and wait until they feel safe. I’ve cared for seniors with medical needs, managed meds, and adapted to all kinds of personalities and routines. Big or small, young or old—I truly love them all. My approach is always patient, kind, and tailored to what each pup needs to feel comfortable and happy. I don’t have family nearby, so I know how stressful it can be to find someone you trust. For me, discovering the right sitter on Rover was a game-changer, and I’d love to be that person for you. I work remotely full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care for your pet. While I work during the day, I typically have flexibility to adjust my schedule for walks, feedings, playtime, or check-ins, especially with a bit of notice. I’m also generally available in the early mornings, evenings, and most weekends. Please note that any weekday requests are considered based on my workday flexibility. I’m committed to caring for your pet in the way that makes them feel the most comfortable. I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of routines, and I know how important it is to stick to what works best for them. Every pet is unique, and I always appreciate a heads-up about any quirks, preferences, or boundaries—those little details make all the difference. Routine is especially important when a new person enters their space, so I do my best to keep things calm, familiar, and stress-free. At home, my dogs are always separated during meals or when given chews. I use gates or kennels when needed to provide structure, allow for downtime, or give everyone a break. Otherwise, you’ll usually find them snuggled up on the couch with me or playing together—with plenty of belly rubs, of course.

“Mia dropped in to take care of my cats when I was out of town. She did a great job trying to make them feel comfortable and keep up their normal routine. It was also great to know that someone was there to check in with them. She sent check-in pictures of the cats and they even warmed up to her being there. It was wonderful to have Mia take care of the cats.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs almost my whole life. Whether it was my family dog or checking in on others dogs while their family went on vacation. I do work full time M-F 7:30am till 6pm at night. I am typically free on the weekends outside of schooling which is only a couple hours a day. By caring for pets in my clients home, I first take them outside to do their business right away and stretch their legs. I always make sure there is water in their bowl and food as explained by my client. If taking on walks I try to stay local unless the family has a preferred route the dog likes.
“This was our second time booking with Ashley — she’s THE PERFECT sitter! She followed our instructions with great care and sent detailed updates each visit. She went above and beyond to make sure our kitties had quality attention, which we very much appreciated!! We’d highly recommend her to anyone feeling nervous about leaving their pets behind on vacation!”

“Marilia is very thorough and professional in the way she conducts herself. From scheduling a meet-and-greet to setting up a time to pick up the house key, she made sure all the details were taken care of. On the days that she popped in to feed our cats she promptly sent photos of and comments about the things we asked her to do. Our kitties were happily waiting for us when we returned from our trip, well fed and in good spirits. We will be comfortable and confident when we hire Marilia again for future bookings. Holly & Sid W.”

“Berenice was consistent and kept my cats from guessing at what time they will eat and get some cuddles. I appreciate this because they do not like change. She communicated via Rover only which was a bit hard because of where we were so next time I will insist on getting texts instead if possible. She was also very responsive when I asked her to do something.”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing. She was adaptive to our animals. This was my first rover experience and I wouldn’t think twice of using the service again; hoping for Lauren. She was amazing, responsive and professional!”

“We have hired Angela twice, and would love to have her again. We have 2 very shy cats and they actually come out and play with her. Angela is very thorough and gives us updates with pictures during every visit.”

“Great service with lots of good details in her report to let you know how your pets are doing! We have a very mean cat and Stephanie still gave her attention and played with her. We've booked her twice now and highly recommend!”

About: Frequent walker that would be happy to have a dog join. I also have a backyard that I maintain all of the time for use. I do not have a dog of my own and typically only watch one dog (or two if you have two) at a time leaving your dogs needs at the priority! I work remote so will always be able to be responsive when sitting. Also have a 700+ day 10,000 step streak so doing lots of walking currently! Handle and escalate and concerns to owner when appropriate and I feel any sorts of hesitations. Thoughtfully, decisively, and neutrally investigate Trust & Safety cases with high complexity and high sensitivity while maintaining customer satisfaction! As a reminder I do not have a fenced in yard so all outside time will be through walks!

About: Hello my name is Brianna! I have worked with dogs and other pets for 10+ years. I started out as a dog walker and pet sitter for neighborhood families at the age of 13. I then went on to work at the local Animal Hospital. Here my duties were cleaning, walks, feeding, handling difficult animals (especially dogs) and more. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I have always had a knack for understanding and taking care of them! To me, caring for a pet is a very important task that can sometimes take a lot of patience. It isn't something learned from a book but from heart and instinct! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting/working with your Fur Babies!

“Kim was easy going and great with our two kitties. Highly recommend her for your pets needs while you are on vacation or away from your home. I will be requesting her again for help when we aren’t around to take care of our fur babies !”

“Lisa was an amazing sitter and took great care of our cat over the holidays! She sent the sweetest daily picture updates and was responsible and attentive. Will absolutely use again. Thanks Lisa!❤️”

“Sarah is fantastic! We did a meet and greet before and she is clearly a natural with animals. My dog LOVED her, and I immediately felt comfortable with her because of how attentive to him she was. During her visit she sent photos, let me know when she arrived and departed per my request (I’m new to the app and wasn’t sure it would alert me; she said she thought it would but she’d send messages anyways). She even send a video when she noticed my dog favoring one of his back legs, which is thankfully normal for him, but something I failed to mention. Sarah was detail oriented and had great communication; I will absolutely be booking her again!”

I would highly recommend MacKenna! I booked her for twice-daily drop-ins to feed and play with my senior, grumpy cat, and he warmed up to her right away. She communicated consistently, sent great updates, and provided excellent care throughout the entire stay.
Emma is the best! There’s honestly only positive things I could say, she is so easy to communicate with and the genuine care for my dog she has is obvious! Ive felt comfortable leaving her in the hands of my dog and home every time she’s come over which in my opinion is the biggest complement! Me and Journey are so glad to have you there when I can’t be, see you soon and thank you always Emma!!

Heather is a wonderful communicator and companion to Beans! Her updates are thoughtful, reassuring and creative. Beans doesn’t come out from under the couch for just anyone, but Heather won her over right away. It’s a relief to know she’s in good hands when I’m away. Thank you Heather!

Julia has been helping me transition my new 5 month lab/boxer puppy to his new home with her drop in visits. She’s very eager to help practice basic commands, crate train, and get my pup comfortable walking around his new neighborhood. Julia asks great questions, communicates quickly, is flexible, and made me feel comfortable leaving my pup for the first time!

Hailey went above and beyond to ensure my dog, Sam, had a walk with her. When I provided the wrong lockbox code thanks to a typo, she used all of her resources to ensure she could still complete the visit. This was extra work for Hailey that she should not have had to do, but she figured it out while I was tied up at work, and sent a detailed report with many photos of my dog. Hailey is highly competent and independent and clearly knows how to solve a problem should one arise while your pet is in her care. I will absolutely be working with her again. Great first Rover experience!
