“Blythe was excellent! Gordon was very well taken care of. Blythe went the EXTRA MILE for my guy!! She really gave him extra TLC. He has some leg weaknesses and she was so good with him‼️She’s coming back for another 2 weeks and I know Gordon will be so happy to see her❗️I highly recommend her❤️‼️‼️‼️”

“We love these two! We know they love our dogs and they treat them like their own. (Sometimes we wonder if our dogs even want to come back home!!) It's so nice to know that our dogs are so well taken care of when we have to be away. Thank you!”

“Carolina was super respectful of all of our instructions for caring for the cat and dog. She sent many pictures and videos along with detailed updates. We have no question that they were well taken care of and they were happy when she was here.”

“We had Keisha stay for a 7 day sit for our dog and cat. Keisha was incredible and everything we could have ever wanted in a sitter! She sent us updates at least daily, sometimes more with pictures which is what we requested! I made an error and she was flexible with adding another day to her stay! Could not recommend her enough, we will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Brianna was a very attentive dog sitter to our high energy pup! She was also very good about letting us know when Sloane acted up so that we could help her handle the situation! Such a great house guest! She even stripped the bed!”

About: Frequent walker that would be happy to have a dog join. I also have a backyard that I maintain all of the time for use. I do not have a dog of my own and typically only watch one dog (or two if you have two) at a time leaving your dogs needs at the priority! I work remote so will always be able to be responsive when sitting. Also have a 700+ day 10,000 step streak so doing lots of walking currently! Handle and escalate and concerns to owner when appropriate and I feel any sorts of hesitations. Thoughtfully, decisively, and neutrally investigate Trust & Safety cases with high complexity and high sensitivity while maintaining customer satisfaction! As a reminder I do not have a fenced in yard so all outside time will be through walks!
“Berenice has a great heart for animals. Our dog has special needs and required hand feeding for meals. I think she would be a wonderful addition to your household, as an animal sitter. She has a kind disposition and will treat your pet with the utmost care. She left the house clean and played with our dog outside - he likes to sleep and can be lazy (so it was nice she provided enrichment playtime)! We got picture updates. She was on time for the meet and greet / when we left for our family trip to see relatives. Our dog seemed happy and content when we got home.”

“Marilia is fantastic! We felt very comfortable leaving our two dogs overnight in our home with Marilia even after meeting her for the first time. Our girls were happy and healthy when we returned, and we feel even better about having Marilia take care of Rae and Frankie sometime in the future! Thanks Marilia!!!”

I like to have a schedule and stick to it!! About: Hello! I am a dog lover through and through, as I’ve spent much of my life caring for my own pups and dog sitting for friends and family. I also worked at a doggy daycare for a little over a year, where I was responsible for managing large groups of dogs. We regularly fed, trained, and administered a variety of meds to the dogs in our care. I had the opportunity to work with many different dogs as well, from senior dogs with special needs to young, energetic puppies of all sizes! I have always been extremely passionate about understanding dog behaviors so that I can provide the best care for every pup :) I have a lot of time throughout the week to care for your pups! I’m available Mon-Fri and I can be flexible regarding timing. Most weekends are open for me as well—just communicate what is needed and I will try my best to make myself available :) I always provide a safe, comfortable environment at your home while sticking to a structured routine of potties, feeding, and/or any medication needs. I’ll do my best to ensure your pet feels relaxed and confident while you’re away!
About: I've loved caring for pets my entire life! My mother was a vet tech who taught me everything I needed to know about caring for animals. I have two senior dachshunds adopted from rescues and have rehabilitated them to be sweet socialized canine citizens. I love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I work a hybrid office job which gives me some flexibility for assisting with your pets! I can walk or visit with your pets in the evenings on weekdays, or anytime on weekends. Your pet will receive care according to their unique needs while I'm visiting with them. Play, feeding, affection, or exercise defined by what you would want to be doing for them yourself.
“It was our second time hiring Elizabeth, another positive experience. My pooch likes his walks and we are grateful she is ok with taking him. She is great with giving updates and sending photos. Upon return the house was just as we left it.”

About: Growing up my family owned a welsh springer spaniel. He was one of my best friends. I felt the same excitement he did when I walked in our front door to his excited jumping. After 13 years, he passed away of old age. Since then I have wanted to get a dog of my own, but I’m waiting until my husband and I get a house to take that step. In the meantime, I love caring for other family dogs. This is a super fun side job for me. I love all types of dogs, have experience with senior dogs, and am happy to care for more than one pet from the same home (whether they be cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, etc.). If your dog is nervous around new people, I will make sure to give them the care, attention, and space that they need. I always give frequent potty breaks, feed them at their regular time, and am very careful around doorways (so no one runs off on any solo adventures!). I always do an initial home visit with my husband so I can meet your pets before setting up a first booking with a new customer. I send great picture updates, so hopefully you won’t miss your dog too much. You will undoubtedly love how passionate I am about keeping your pet in a safe, loving environment while you are away. I am currently working as an 8th grade teacher. I am able to get to your home between the hours of 4pm-10pm on weeknights. I am available all day on Saturdays. I am available Sundays after 10:30am. I am available to do home visits to feed your pets, groom with a brush/bath, play their favorite games, go on long walks or runs, and spend the night if you need a house sitter. I can also take care of other pets including cats, hamsters, fish, chickens, etc. If you need someone to water plants while you are away, I can take care of that too!
About: Hi there! My name is Hope and I am a very passionate animal lover with over 3 years of professional dog handling experience (along with being a dog and cat mom to a 3 year old Dalmatian and 2 lovely boy cats)! Through my years working at Bay View Bark, a dog daycare/boarding facility, I have learned so much and now have a great understanding of dog behavior, body language and handling techniques. I am very comfortable managing dogs of all sizes and temperaments, with the goal of keeping everyone safe, happy and healthy while they’re in my care! Whether you’re looking for a high energy structured walk or just someone to keep your pup company, I am more than happy to fill whatever role you may need! I am fully confident with feeding meals and administering any medications your puppy may need including oral, topical or any other meds/supplements. My hope is to be able to learn as much about your dog as I can to help customize my approach to fit your dogs unique personality, I want to create a welcoming and smooth experience from start to finish for every pup I meet/take care off! Lastly I want to make sure you feel 100% confident that your dog(s) are in the best hands and with someone that will extend the love/care you give to them each day! I currently work a full time job but have a large range of shift times so my schedule varies week by week. I will often be off work by 3pm in the opposite end I sometimes don’t start work until 12pm, giving me time to do short visits before/after my shifts! I have multiple xpens and gates to section off my home along with two entry/exit ways, one at the front and one at the back of my house. I have an unfenced front yard with a 30ft leash attached to the porch to provide free roaming if wanted! I live not even a block from Humboldt park which makes taking enriching walks very easy!
About: Ex restaurant owner turned private chef and animal sitter (what is this life?!). Love meeting all the silly kitties and playful doggies on this app. I have two cats and a pitbull puppy. I specialize in giving insulin if needed, medication/pills, and telling your cat/dog how pretty they are. Very flexible, wide open schedule right now! My schedule was limited to cat visits but now I’m open to pups now that my puppy isn’t as demanding of my time I have two very nice dog friendly cats and a crazy puppy!! I also have an empty room that fully set up for cat boarding! Tons of windows and couches
“Kelsey was great with our 2 year old, high energy Samoyed while we went on a two day bike trip! She proactively asked to do a home visit first, which we were grateful for and it helped relieve some stress for us before our trip. It was clear Kelsey read all the info we prepared to help her have a fun stay in our home, and she sent lots of photos and updates. We were fully able to enjoy our time away as a result. She had great judgement about walking our double coated dog in the heat and rain. Our home was as clean as we left it upon our return. We’ll definitely book with Kelsey again!”

“Maiah did a terrific job taking care of my dog. She gave us daily updates and photos, left the house clean and even stayed with my dog so she didn’t get lonely! Amazing!”

“Wow! Definitely recommend River. She worked with us over the course of a few home visits to get our nervous, anxious dog acclimated to her. Then we had her dog sit in our house for 8 days. They became best of friends. She kept the house in tip-top shape and even left little gifts for my human children. Will definitely have her back!”

Mitchell Field pet parents share their Rover experiences
Eleanor is amazing! She spent all holiday weekend with our two senior dogs and two cats and helped guide the pups through fireworks and thunderstorms. She left the house in great condition and the crew was calm and happy when we got home! We highly recommend Eleanor, 10-10! 🐈🦮💜

Elba is wonderful! She just watched my senior dog Fern for the first time while I was on a 5 day trip and I was able to fully relax and not worry as I received daily photos and updates from her. Fern felt so comfortable with her also and got lots of love, attention and walks not to mention receiving all her daily meds on time. I will definitely be using Elba’s services again!

Blythe was absolutely amazing with Prema! She was true to her word and took care of my pup in every way possible with so much love and attention that I think she was missed even after my return! Blythe was the first Rover I've used where I didn't have to worry about the care of my pup and I appreciated the updates with pics throughout the day. I'd happily use Blythe again for all our vacations going forward!

Wow! Definitely recommend River. She worked with us over the course of a few home visits to get our nervous, anxious dog acclimated to her. Then we had her dog sit in our house for 8 days. They became best of friends. She kept the house in tip-top shape and even left little gifts for my human children. Will definitely have her back!

Taylor took care of my son (Zipp) during the winter in Wisconsin. You can tell Taylor loves dogs, he sent me videos playing with Zipp and taking him for walks in the snow. Thank you Taylor! I would book again!!! Zipp was so happy when we got home, on the couch like we never left 💕

Cannot recommend Cassandra & Tyler enough! They have done two in-house sits for me, and they took such incredible care of my dogs both time. Excellent communication, really thoughtful support for a couple of issues that came up and coming back to two very happy boys. These were both longer sits (14 days and 7 days) and the level of communication, professionalism and just care for the boys never dwindled, and that meant the world for me actually getting to enjoy my time away from them. Highly recommend these two if you are in need of help with your furbabies!

IGNORE THE BAD REVIEW - that guy’s a doo-doo face… Sawyer clearly loves dogs and communicates just fine! I tend to over communicate and he had no problem responding to all my messages. I love getting all the pic updates, too! He’s experienced and my handsome staffy boy took to him immediately! My dog can be a handful on a leash and around other dogs but he must have handled him just fine because no bad reports! 💯 recommend Sawyer! 👍

I couldn't be happier with my experience! Margaret was amazing with Theo — attentive, communicative, and clearly a true dog lover. I received regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I came home Theo didn't even want Maragret to leave! I’m so grateful to have found someone I can fully trust, and I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!
