About: My dog Fletcher and I would love company while I work from home. I love dogs and have the flexibility to go on walks and play outside during the day! I’m currently a student at KU so I have plenty of flexibility between classes and my part time job. I’m most available on weekends but also random times through out the day. About: I was raised by serious dog people, so I never expected to become a cat person — but cats had other plans. 😂 I started working with cats in shelters in 2019, and I've been learning their personalities and quirks ever since. I now have three cats of my own, so I've experienced firsthand that cats each have their own very different way of communicating, showing affection, and deciding whether they approve of you. Shelter experience also taught me to be patient and let cats come to me on their own terms. Some want attention immediately, some need a little space, and some will make you work for their approval. I'm happy with all three. 😄 Whether your cat is social, shy, independent, playful, or convinced they're the one taking care of *me*, I'll respect their personality and keep their normal routine as consistent as possible while you're away. 🐾

“I cannot say enough about Heather and Alex. This was the first time I had to leave my cat, Pinky, for two weeks and I was nervous. Most other 'in-home' boarders that take cats, have cats of their own, which presented a problem for me as Pink doesn't really get along with other cats. She's been declawed and I was worried that in a house with a bunch of other cats, she'd be bullied:( But Heather and Alex only commit to one Rover boarder at a time. They work from home and so one or the other of them is almost always there. Their home is spacious, clean and has a lovely large screened in area, which my girl loved. They sent plenty of updates with pictures and videos. In fact Pink looked so comfortable, I was actually getting jealous. I am lucky to work from home so I get to spend all day with my pets and yours when they stay with me! I have experience working with dogs of all ages, light training and routine bath care. I love going out in the yard and playing with the dogs. Our fenced in yard makes it so easy to bring them out back and throw the ball around. When your pets stay with me I know how hard it can be being away, but I will provide constant photos, videos, and updates to help you feel comfortable while you are apart. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies and give them a great time during their stay. I work from home, so you can feel comfortable your pets will get constant care and attention throughout the day. The dogs get outside at 7:00am to start the day and will get walks / playtime in the yard minimum every 2 hours. We have a great neighborhood for long walks and a pretty big yard for running and playing. The dogs will be let outside for the last time around 10:00pm before winding down for bed. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for play. I have 1 dog and 1 cat, both are good with other dogs and cats. My dog is a 2 year old male golden retriever. He truly is the happiest dog and loves to meet new friends. Every pet that stays with us will be treated as one of our own and will have a great experience.

About: I have worked fully remote for 10 years now which has given me the opportunity to devote lots of time to my own dog as well as friends and family! Experience in senior care and medications including oral and injection. Being home every day gives me lots of time for potty breaks, walks and treats. I have a dog of my own, Fern, who is a sweet and mellow 12 yo Bichon Frise. I also live blocks from the lakefront in a very dog friendly part of Bay View! About: For over forty years we’ve always had dogs in our home. We have a sweet pitbull mix that we adopted last year. She came from a home with several dogs so she loves to meet and make new friends. We enjoy providing a good home to animals and we look forward to caring for your pets. Potty breaks can be provided every two hours. Your dog will have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run, play fetch, or explore in our fenced backyard. We try to follow the same routine as you would for your pet at home. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own. The dogs have free run of the house if the owner doesn’t specify otherwise.

About: No kids or pets of my own and a big Jeep means my outdoorsy lifestyle is open and flexible for your fur babies. I'm experienced with dogs from all walks of life. You name it, I'm down for it. I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. I'm mobile with the Jeep as well, so we don't have to stick to my neighborhood if your dog is reactive and needs some extra space.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life — in 28 years, there have only been 7 days I've lived without one! I grew up in a home with five dogs, including four Bernese Mountain Dogs and a Sheltie. My family also responsibly bred Berners and Shelties, and I grew up around training, proper care, and learning to understand each dog's individual personality. Today, my own dog is still a huge part of my life. I also prepare homemade food for my dog and have learned a lot through that experience about paying attention to ingredients, sensitivities, age, energy levels, and individual needs. About: As a dog lover my whole life, I wasn't able to get one of my own until a year and a half ago. Having our golden retriever Tommy has completely changed my life for the better! I absolutely love dogs of all kinds and enjoy being outdoors and playing with them. I work full time remotely, so I am extremely available and flexible to your schedule. I can accommodate any needs and have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and everywhere in between. Tommy has been professionally trained and gets along great with other dogs. About: My experience entailed taking care of multiple dogs over the course of several years. I have sat for a golden retriever for two years, a chihuahua for four years as well as a chocolate lab at the same time. When I was in middle school, I also cared for our neighbor’s golden-doodle and shih-tzu, Roofus and Boomer. They were the first dogs I sat for and it was such an amazing and fun time. They were over for two years and taught me the first skills I needed for taking care of dogs. My duties were walking, feeding, taking care of the dogs’ well being and all other dog-related duties. Molly, the chihuahua I took care of, was such an awesome time- she was so energetic and bubbly; she always wanted to go outside and play. I have always loved meeting new dogs and taking care of them. There was much joy in the pets I took care of, I want to continue doing the same! I am currently in school getting my degree at UWM as well as taking summer classes, but my schedule is flexible and I will have time during the day to walk and take care of the dogs. My home has a fenced in yard as well as it being a spacious one, so I have experience also with letting the dog out and taking care of them simply outside the home. About: I have always had a pet in my home my entire life but took on more of a caretaker role for them within the past 5 years. I have 2 dosg of my own, Bella and Theo, who can always come with me if requested if your dog would like some doggy play time! I’m currently working as an organ donation specialist overnight so my schedule varies, I work 3 12hr shifts a week so availability just depends on the week. About: Married stay at home mom of 3 girls and 1 boy, who loves animals. Pre-covid I was a banquet cook for a living. Couches and beds are free game as long as it's ok with you, I wouldn't want to upset what an animal is used to. At my place there are Treats walks and belly rubs galore. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is open and my routine can be changed to fit what your pup or other animal needs. I have no animals of my own and usually only take one family at a time for boarding and 2 families for doggy daycare unless discussed ahead of time with clients so I can match your pets normal care schedule and routine.

About: My dog Fletcher and I would love company while I work from home. I love dogs and have the flexibility to go on walks and play outside during the day! I’m currently a student at KU so I have plenty of flexibility between classes and my part time job. I’m most available on weekends but also random times through out the day. I will be sure to know the surrounding of client’s homes in order to keep track of pets and understand where they are allowed to go. I want to ensure safety of clients pets.

We needed our puppy boarded for 16 days and she was able to accommodate us for most of that time, she took our pup to a local boarding service for the nights she was unable to watch her. Our pup developed a UTI and Anna took her to the urgent care and kept us informed, she administered the antibiotics to our pup while she had her. She recoverd from her UTI. We love when Anna watches our pup as she keeps her stimulated with activities and her lovely dog Tommy!”
