“Lauren was absolutely amazing. She was adaptive to our animals. This was my first rover experience and I wouldn’t think twice of using the service again; hoping for Lauren. She was amazing, responsive and professional!”

“Amanda is an excellent communicator & definitely goes above & beyond to care for your pets. It definitely gives me peace of mind to see the pictures & to get a detailed report every day. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs almost my whole life. Whether it was my family dog or checking in on others dogs while their family went on vacation. I do work full time M-F 7:30am till 6pm at night. I am typically free on the weekends outside of schooling which is only a couple hours a day. By caring for pets in my clients home, I first take them outside to do their business right away and stretch their legs. I always make sure there is water in their bowl and food as explained by my client. If taking on walks I try to stay local unless the family has a preferred route the dog likes.
“Courtney is fantastic! She is so great about following my instructions and she’s helped me lit in a pinch more than once. I so appreciate how communicative she is and how great she is with my Miley!”

“Hailey did such an amazing job with our cat! She sent a thorough and thoughtful update with tons of pictures and showed our girl was not just checked on but cared for. Highly recommend!”

“Elaine was great taking care of our 2 cats during drop in visits while we were away. She took care of everything including feeding, litter boxes, and play time. Thank you!!”

“Mary is wonderful. I am so glad to have come across her service and connected. Her service is exactly what I needed. Also, she is very prompt with communication which I really appreciate.”

About: I've loved caring for pets my entire life! My mother was a vet tech who taught me everything I needed to know about caring for animals. I have two senior dachshunds adopted from rescues and have rehabilitated them to be sweet socialized canine citizens. I love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I work a hybrid office job which gives me some flexibility for assisting with your pets! I can walk or visit with your pets in the evenings on weekdays, or anytime on weekends. Your pet will receive care according to their unique needs while I'm visiting with them. Play, feeding, affection, or exercise defined by what you would want to be doing for them yourself.
About: I’ve had dogs growing up the majority of my life, so I love spending time with furry companions! During high school and college, I also spent time dog sitting for friends and family while they were on vacation. I’ve also been around cats from pet-sitting and family owned pets. I would love to take your animal for a walk! Due to the type of full-time job that I have, I do not have a regular, routine schedule and I am also not able to do weekly recurring walks. But I do know my schedule a month out so we can coordinate when I would be able to take your furry friend for a walk around the block! I currently do not have any pets of my own for financial reasons, but I would love to love on your best friend! I do not mind meeting any needs your furry friends have. At your home, I can crate as requested, take walks with them periodically throughout the day, and encourage general play and exercise.
“Was able to accommodate a last-minute booking due to unexpected surgery and was super-accommodating over the weekend hospital stay updates. The pups looked super happy in every pic! Thanks so much.”

About: My unconditional love for all animals. Every cat or dog that I meet I treat and cherish as if they were my own fur baby. I do work a full time job, 8-4 Mon-Fri. However, I am looking to use some of my free time taking care of your fur baby! I do my best to maintain whatever routine you have with your fur baby. I am willing to go the extra mile to make your pup feel safe and comfortable while you are away.

“Michelle is a saint! Every time we leave our biggest girl gets sick and Michelle is a trooper and makes sure she is taken care of and cleans up the messes. 🤢 Both our girls love her and would always check her availability first when in need.”

“Berenice was consistent and kept my cats from guessing at what time they will eat and get some cuddles. I appreciate this because they do not like change. She communicated via Rover only which was a bit hard because of where we were so next time I will insist on getting texts instead if possible. She was also very responsive when I asked her to do something.”

“Leslie is a compassionate animal lover who provided outstanding care for my cat. She always had great communication, providing plenty of adorable photos and thorough updates. She is detail-oriented, going above and beyond to make sure all of our pet and home-related needs are met. Knowing I had someone so genuine and reliable looking after my pet and home was a huge peace of mind. I came back home to a happy, satisfied cat and a clean space with everything left in place. It's such a comfort and relief to find such a trustworthy and exceptionally amazing pet sitter. I would highly recommend her for any animal care needs!”

About: Ive always been an animal lover. If I could I would adopt all the homeless pets because it saddens me how many are out there suffering. This is why I thrive to provide my pets the best care I can and hopefully yours too! I am currently working part time so I can always be flexible and meet the needs of your pets! Just contact me and we can work something out! I have enrichment time with my own pets at home and try to take my husky to dog park as much as I can because I know how sad it can be to be home alone all day.
About: I have 3 cats & a dog who I treat as if they were my biological children. One of my cats & my dog are medically “blessed,” so I have experience giving meds & sticking to dietary restrictions. They are also anxious creatures, so I’m more than experienced in the world of patience. I foster for a cat rescue who saves stray cats & have experience with getting cats/kittens to trust me. I work full-time but am available weekday evenings for drop-ins & walks. I am available for boarding & house-sitting on weekends or over holidays. My weekends are flexible, so I can also accommodate medication schedules easily With a fenced in yard, dogs can enjoy time outdoors safely. I live in a quiet neighborhood that allows for nice walks. My dog & cats are very laidback. For other dogs, after a proper introduction, my dog loves playing with other dogs & is cat savvy. Since I foster, I also have a separate room where I could keep any cat guests.
“Courtney was absolutely wonderful! She watched my cat Blue while I was gone and sent loads of adorable pictures and videos daily and kept me updated on how Blue was doing. She took the extra time to play with him and brush him, and handled giving him his ear drops and medication fantastically!! I definitely recommend Courtney and look forward to continuing to work with her for all my pet sitting needs :)”

“Zhanae went above and beyond for my fur baby! She was understanding, helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. My kitty spent a great 2 weeks with her and was completely cared for. I would book her again for my next trip in a heart beat! If you want a care free trip I recommend booking her! Thank you again for everything Zhanae!”

“Miranda did a wonderful job handling my sometimes very shy dog. She came at the correct times, was able to take pictures of my dog and give me the right amount of updates on him that I needed. I will definitely let her know when I need help watching my dog again. Thanks Miranda!”
Copernicus Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Rusha is the best when it comes to nervous cats. My cat is so shy around people but loves Rusha. She even let Rusha pick her up and cuddle. I am always so comfortable leaving my cat in Rusha’s knowing that she will not only be taken care of but given all the attention.
