About: I’ve had many dogs throughout my life, from growing up with them to having dogs of my own. Although my experience with pets is primarily with dogs, I feel like animals in general absolutely love me! There’s a special connection between us that is unexplainable. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets, whether it’s dogs or cats, and give them the love and attention they’re accustomed to—and deserve! Please note: I am available for house/pet sitting within 50 miles of San Diego. However, drop-in visits and dog walking are limited to 10 miles. I’m self-employed and fortunate to have a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to give your pet the love and attention they deserve. I will make sure your pets are safe and comforted while you're away and do whatever I can to ease any anxiety they may have. We’ll play, relax, or simply hang out, whatever the moment calls for. My goal is to help them feel as comfortable as possible until you return.

“Lisa came and gave my dog a walk at last minute’s notice. She was right on time, met my dog and knew the special leash and was off. My dog liked her, and the walk went well. I’d use her again.”

“Katarina helped me out with my little Jeremy when I was in town for a couple days. She took him out for a nice walk and shared photos and updates. I will definitely book Katarina again when i’m back in town!”

About: Hi! My name is Ana, with years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I speak English and Spanish, so I can connect with a variety of pet parents. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my priorities. I enjoy long walks, playtime, and giving plenty of love and attention — whether your dog is full of energy or prefers cozy cuddle time. I understand the importance of following routines, dietary needs, and any special instructions you provide. Living in a pet-friendly community in San Diego, I’m used to caring for pups in both indoor and outdoor settings, making sure they get fresh air, exercise, and affection every time. Let’s make your fur baby’s tail wag while you’re away! 🐾 I am a house wife and I love to be able to help my community with helping with their dogs and at the same time get income while doing what I love. Whether at my home or theirs I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their usual routines for meals, walks, and playtime, and always keep fresh water available. I give them plenty of attention, gentle affection, and watch for any signs they need extra care. Your pet will get the same love and respect I give my own.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember; big and small, shy and silly! I’ve helped raise several pups from puppyhood to their golden years, and I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether it’s a high-energy walk, a game of fetch, or a cozy cuddle session, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and entertained while you're away. I’m reliable, patient, and always up for outdoor adventures or sticking to your pup’s favorite routine. WFH with a flexible schedule. I even take myself on walks several times a day! Lots of time for playing, cuddling, and paying attention to your fur baby. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and needs. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep things clean and consistent, aiming to make your pet feel secure in their familiar environment. If I’m hosting, I provide a calm, cozy, and pet-friendly space where your furry friend is treated like family. I always communicate clearly with pet parents and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in loving hands. Bonus: I have a patio where your fur baby can sunbathe or people watch!

About: I've been caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds since I was 11, from walking and sitting to volunteering at a local animal shelter. With over 9 years of experience, I’m confident, caring, and always treat every dog like family. I’d love to help your pup feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I am a college student so my primary availability is Friday through Sunday for sitting. However, I do have some weekday mornings free for walks. I don’t board pets in my home, but I’m happy to care for them in yours! I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away, and I’m always happy to send updates and photos!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love being with animals—it’s something that’s always felt second nature to me! I have experience dog sitting and have cared for pets in all stages of life, from energetic younger pups who need lots of activity to senior dogs who require medication, extra patience, and a slower pace. I was the primary caregiver for my own elderly dog, so I understand how important it is to meet pets where they are and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved! As a student with a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, I’m able to easily fit in walks, check-ins, or longer stays throughout the day. I also know how much I appreciate getting updates when I’m away from my own pets, so I’ll always do my best to keep you in the loop with messages and photos—whatever helps you feel at ease while you’re away! I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor time. My home is a calm, clean space with no other pets—so your dog will have my full attention. I have a fenced front yard with turf where dogs can safely play, along with plenty of indoor space for toys, lounging, or just hanging out in the AC to stay cool. Whether I’m watching your dog in my home or yours, I prioritize their comfort and safety at all times, and I always aim to create a low-stress, welcoming environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for!

About: My love for animals is something I was born with, as a kid, I had all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, bunnies, rats, turtles, ducks... you name it! Taking care of animals and sharing my love with them is what I enjoy the most. I currently volunteer at two different animal sanctuaries and I'm also part of the Care Team at a dog rescue. This is something that is not only rewarding but it is also a great way to learn from animals and gain experience while doing something I love. I just recently lost Lola, my Pug-Lhasa apso mix, after she had an awesome long life by my side. With Lola, I learned a lot about taking care of senior dogs with different conditions, including mobility issues. Three years before I lost Yuyo, a rescue with some behavior issues we adopted, that little by little, with lots of patience and love became a playful and adventurer doggie that loved hiking and exploring, learning how to enjoy and live a full life. Because I miss Lola and Yuyo so much, and my love for them was so enormous, the animals at the sanctuaries and the doggies at the dog rescue, are still not enough to take all this love from my heart, so I want to share it with your pets too like if they were mine, while I give them the best care for your peace of mind. I currently have plenty of flexibility and will do my best to accommodate your request. I can do walks, visits and house-sitting during weekdays (except Mondays) and most of weekends when requested in advance I can take your dog for walks and/or play time at the area of your preference or my favorite places if that is ok with you. I can play with them at your house or mine during day care and I can take them out to potty as needed/requested. I have a large area for potty breaks and walks right downstairs and a big nice park 2 blocks away.

About: I have always loved dogs and finally adopted one of my own a year ago. I grew up with a labrador and a yorkie and currently own a border collie, so I have experience with all sizes and personalities. I adopted Josie last year, and it has been the best decision I have ever made. I have a flexible work schedule and can be home most of the day. I also have a large fully fenced-in backyard so accommodating your dog's bathroom schedule won't be an issue. I’m a long-distance cross-country runner, so if your dog is on the more active side I have no problem taking him/her out on a run or walk. Josie is very playful and LOVES other dogs, she would be happy to have a buddy to run around with :) I am available Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all day. I work Mon/Fri/Sat from 2:30-10:00pm. On the days I don't work, I am free to exercise your pet as much as they like! I have a large fenced in backyard and typically leave the door open for my own dog to come and go as she pleases. I have a medium/large crate set up as well if your dog uses that as a safe space. I have a dog bed in every room of the house and have no rules about pets on the couch. I live near great parks for long walks and have endless dog toys!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, but fell in love with our adorable shelter mutt. Taking care of him, as he aged, was a full time job. He brought more love into our lives than I could have ever asked for. I learned to train him as a puppy, grow with him as he aged, and then care for him in his late stage of life. I'm the person who says hello to your dog, remembers the dog's name, and forgets the humans. I've regularly cared for friends pets, and look forward to the joy of getting to care for your pet! I am a dedicated pet caretaker and walker! There is plenty of time in my week to provide tons of care and love for your pet. Safety and security is paramount when caring for a pet. First, I always check the perimeter to make sure that the area of the home is safe, free of plants that may harm a pet, and free of areas where there might be security risks (fences broken). Ensuring that a pet is safe is my primary concern. Then ensuring that the pet feels safe with me, and gets to know me is crucial so that I can build a rapport with the pet. Their safety and security with me as their caretaker is very important!

About: I’ve had a family dog that I’ve taken care of and trained since 2011. I am very reliable and communicative and will be sure to take the best care of your pet! I currently working full-time remote Monday through Friday so I have a very flexible schedule that can work around the needs of your pet! On the weekends, my schedule is very flexible as well. I have a two bedroom condo with an outdoor patio. Within the complex, there is a lot of grassy areas for your pet to roam around and lots of pathways to go on walks.

Carolina B.
“Carolina is everything you would want in a dog sitter: caring, responsible, and genuinely great with animals. When I had to travel for three weeks, she took care of my chow chow, Leo. I don’t usually like leaving my dog with anyone. Leo can be very stubborn, picky, and has a bit of a reputation for running off. But I trusted Carolina completely, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. She was incredibly reliable, communicative, and treated Leo like he was her own. He’s on a special diet, and she was meticulous about sticking to it. She gave him daily walks, plenty of playtime, and all the attention he needed to feel comfortable and cared for. When I came home, Leo was relaxed, healthy, and happy, which honestly says it all. She even made sure the yard was clean and picked up after him, which I really appreciated. The next time Leo saw her, he got super excited, tail wagging, and ran straight to her. That’s when I knew he hadn’t just been looked after, he had been loved. I’m so glad she has joined Rover. Carolina is the kind of sitter every dog owner hopes to find, and I can’t recommend her enough.”

Matthew S.
“What always amazes me is that Matt is always the one person (even in a large group) that an animal will go to first. I think they sense how kind and enthusiastic he is to friends with four paws. In my experience, Matt is deeply conscientious about pet care and intuitive about what they may need. He is observant, careful, and engaging with both his own pets and others'.”

Rayna S.
“My sweet baby corgi angel Bonnie loves Rayna! She wiggles her cute little corgi butt whenever she sees her, and she loves spending days cuddled up on her lap. I hundred percent trust Rayna to take great care of her whenever I go out of town, and I know Bonnie can't wait to see her again.”

Sarah S.

“Lovely girl, very caring and communicative. I would hire Sarah again.”
