About: Throughout my lifetime I have lived in a houseful of dogs and cats . My mom and I are dog rescue volunteers and most of them tended to end up in our loving home🩷 because of this I have a huge love for our furry friends and a great understanding of how to care for dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes and from all walks of life. There is no expense spared when it comes to comfort, love, and care for all animals I encounter. God gave us the mighty task of taking care of man’s best friend! I work from home so my animals and visiting animals get so much love and attention! I am always there when they need love, food, or potty breaks. The most time my animals go without these things is 2 to 4 hours on the weekends for errands and like. During the week and most of the weekend, my animals have free range of my home including my office, where I work. I supply my dog with plenty of toys and chew things so that he always has something to do but mostly he just wants my attention haha! My cats and dog typically free feed throughout the day. However, this does change if I have visiting animals. My animals are quite flexible and very chill, so any requirements for visiting fur babies can easily be accommodated.
“Paulina helped us out in a pinch. We came in from our of town and needed some help with letting the dogs out. She was great with the pups and we appreciate her taking good care of them.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and am comfortable petsitting all kinds of pets! With my volunteer experience at an animal shelter, I am also comfortable administering topical and oral medication, if necessary. I work full time, but am available to drop by in the mornings, after work in the late afternoon, and in the evenings. Can do weekends as well! I have base access so pet sitting on base is not an issue! When pet sitting, I obviously always prioritize keeping the water full and giving pets the appropriate amount of food. Making sure the environment is clean is a big one - like ensuring any accidents are cleaned up.
About: I was raised on a farm in the countryside. We had cats and dogs among other animals. Many of these I claimed as pets. I've owned several dogs in my lifetime and into their older years and currently have two cats which they think they're human. These little animals are part of our families. This makes them of great importance and priority. Their care should be taken just as seriously as each other. Listening to their needs and watching their habits they communicate. I take great care listening to the sounds and movement of a pet to discern what they are trying to communicate that they need. Flexibility is important when it comes to pet sitting. My children are almost adults now so I have more time to care for another family's pets. I do not have the room for a pet in my home but I have lots of room in my heart to take care of your pet in yours.
“Charlie did a fantastic job dropping in each day, to care for my dogs and cat, while I was away. Very reliable, and great communication! I will be requesting her help in the future!”

“Martha was an amazing pet sitter. She is prompt, courteous, and very attentive to detail as well as the animals. I felt very secure leaving my animals in her care. She is also very informative and communicated daily.”

“Katherine goes out of her way to keep me updated on my cat, Blue. She proactively brings any changes in your pet to your attention, which is always appreciated. Thank you!”

“Coming from a third-party perspective, everyone wants their fur babies to be cared for and not taken advantage of. I was skeptical at first about letting someone into my home, but Jennifer completely proved me wrong in the best way. She’s easily one of the best sitters I’ve had. Her communication is excellent, and she truly goes above and beyond to make sure your dog is well taken care of. Whether your dog needs constant attention or just a little, she adapts perfectly. She actively plays with them and meets all their needs. I felt completely at ease. She’s also very accountable and professional. If anything unexpected comes up, she handles it responsibly, and she’s very understanding if you ever need to cancel for an emergency. The level of care she provides is top-notch. I’m really glad I found her; it’s rare to come across someone this reliable.”

“Staci is always great and very flexible with times when I have to make my trips out of town. She takes great pics of my babies for me and I can tell she has a love for animals as I do; they are my babies.”

About: I’ve always had a dog. I love the outdoors and walk my own dog 3-4 times a day! I also have had bathing and grooming training. I am currently a wife and stay at home dog & kitten mom. I have plenty of time attention, and love to give to your fur babies! I have one dog of my own and a great yard. I will always provide the care and love you want for your furry family member.

About: Growing up in Blanco, Texas, animals were just part of life. I spent my childhood looking after a lot of my neighbors’ animals. Chickens, goats, horses, cats, birds, fish, rats, and more. I also come from a large family that had a collection of their own. So learning how to be a calm, attentive presence for all kinds of creatures has never been a chore. I genuinely loved every minute of it! That same love is what led me to become a professional dog groomer. I work hands on with dogs of all breeds and temperaments every day, so I know how to read an animal’s mood, keep them comfortable, and make them feel safe and cared for. Whether your pup needs a playmate, a cuddle buddy, or just a peaceful place to hang out, I’m your person. :) I’m currently in the early stages of launching my own dog grooming business, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability most days of the week. I genuinely love spending time with animals, so this isn’t just a side job, it’s an extension of who I am. I’ll always communicate openly and give plenty of notice if my availability ever shifts as my business grows. I offer in home visits only, so your pet never has to leave the comfort of their own space. which is especially perfect for cats who thrive in familiar surroundings. As a professional dog groomer, I’m trained to handle animals safely and calmly, and I bring that same careful, attentive energy into every home I visit. Your space will always be treated with complete respect, and your pet’s routine, boundaries, and comfort come first every single time.
“Janessa is fabulous woth our girls, making sure they are well taken care of and loved! And as owners, her review cards and pictures provide a sense of security and connection.”

“Chris made daily drop ins on our cats. We have a cat that’s needed for attention and Chris spent time with it each day. Cats were happy when I came home and Chris was very punctual. I highly recommend using Chris for pet sitting services.”

“Jenna was awesome! She is very professional and friendly. And most importantly, our fur babies were properly taken care of. They are happy and healthy. It was such a great peace of mind having Jenna take care of our babies while we were gone. I will use her services again and I highly recommend her.”

About: I own 4 Boston Terriers and love them like they are my children. I am big in rescuing dogs especially seniors. I participate in Alaqua. I love animals they are all treated like babies and are spoiled. I am currently working as a Realtor. So I have down time and I manage my own schedule.I am pretty flexible and able to work early hours if needed. I have a fenced yard. I have a doggy door for my dogs. Also we have a pool but have it fenced off so the dogs do not have access to the pool unless I am out there.

“I cannot say enough nice things about Ed and his wife Joanna. They have looked after Simba twice now for a total of 4 weeks. They are not "bare minimum" type pet sitters. They actively care for your pet. I could go on for days but I will just say, Ed, thank you!”

About: I Need a dog fix! I currently don’t have a dog although I have for most of my life! I grew up with mixed breeds and many animals, had a Great Pyrenees, golden retriever and then a hot dog, also I Have taken care of friends’ dogs when I lived up north. I have lived in Florida for nine years, I know where dog parks are ( if it is approved by owners). I have worked in the health field with a variety of illnesses, also the short term rental & HOA field. I have always been amazed by service animals, therapy animals and have considered becoming a dog groomer. I love dogs and now have more flexibility and availability for doing what I love! I’m healthy , active and know the area, don’t mind traveling I’m currently retired and working just 2-3x/week 1-6pm. I have lots of energy and have an elderly cat right now so I cannot board dogs at this time . I’m around on the weekends and mostly available! I know the area well and can drive to clients homes, I can transport pets as needed, eventually I would be able to board dogs in my home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
