“I had an absolutely wonderful experience! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing the pups were being loved and cared for while away. She was dependable and treated Chase and Recci like they were her own. It’s clear she truly loves animals, and that makes all the difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Cassidy is such a wonderful dog lover. We felt very comfortable with her spending time at our home with Jax. She was communicative, and sent lots of pics. I can't wait to book her again!”

“My dog took to her instantly and it’s apparent Caitlyn has been around animals. She’s very attentive to dogs needs. I feel grateful I found her. She spent a lot of time with me and Bella at the meet and greet.”

“Ginny was fantastic! She was dedicated to caring for our animals! She was also happy to send pictures along of our happy pets which made it all more comfortable knowing they were in good hands while we away on vacation! Thank you Ginny!!”

“10 stars! Emily was excellent with my cat! There was a definite bond from the beginning as he gave his "hey, here's a good person" approval. Emily was very patient, taking time to pet him, show interest and develop rapport. Her communication is excellent as well. When I arrived home he reacted very affectionate and relaxed. Not stressed or anxious at all. I love to see this because it shows he received good care during my absence. I'd definitely book Emily again in a heartbeat! considering she did such a great job showing loving care to my treasured soul mate cat :) I recommend her to anyone seeking a respectful, empathetic sitter who loves & understands cats 🐈 Thank you, Emily”

“Cheryl has been wonderful! She is attentive and organized and reliable! We have 4 dogs and 1 is about 90 lbs. She’s great with them! She comes to our house regularly for drop ins and 2 of our dogs have gone to her house for a short stay. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in middle school. I’ve dogsat for family, friends, and neighbors! I love cuddling up with any pet but especially the senior pups who need extra love. I always make sure each pup gets enough attention and playtime when I visit!! I have a part-time job that keeps me busy midday but i’m always available to stop by for a few hours in the mornings and at nights! I understand that puppies that go into crates when home alone cannot stay there for more than 10 hours at a time. So i’ll make sure to at least take them potty between longer visits! Lots of love and care can definitely help a dog with attachment issues. My chorkie named Tebow is always nervous about something (the Chihuahua in him) and we let him know he’s safe with play time and cuddle time.
“Gina was reliable, prompt, professional, followed our instructions, and took time with Grace to giver her attention and form a bond. She sent us pictures and videos at each visit and gave us updates to show us how well Grace was doing. We loved the care Gina gave Grace and highly recommend her. We will be booking with Gina again. Thank you Gina!”

About: Hey there! I’m LeeAnn 🙃 I’m here to help with your cutest, cuddly kitty and sweetest pupper needs! Whether I’m popping in for potty breaks, a quick stroll or making sure Whiskers can’t see there’s an empty spot in the food bowl (Cat parents, am I right?) Honestly I’m looking for something that allows the ability to create my own “flexible” schedule and be more present for my kiddos..the less furrier ones, although they act like wild animals! 🤪 I follow the instructions of the owners requests! In the summertime I am very mindful of the heat* I take a lot of shorter walks for the safety of myself and the dog - I want them to get their energy out but also don’t want the hot pavement burning their paws and/or a heat stroke for the animal nor myself. A lot of inside play consist of toy play! But again, I’m always going to be mindful of owner requests/demands

“Crysta was AMAZING!! I had a unique request: help me get my three dogs to my wedding. Our dogs are a very big part of our lives and we knew our wedding wouldn’t be complete without them. We’ve always dreamed that at our wedding we would be surrounded by our family and friends and our dogs are the most important members of our family. Crysta made our wedding complete! She stepped in when no one else could and accepted the request without hesitation. I scheduled a meet and greet just to make sure she got to meet them first and we talked through our wedding timeline. I asked Crysta to be at our Airbnb for 4 pm, let them have a quick potty break, and take them about 15 minutes down the road to our venue, wait while we take some family photos with the pups, then bring them back to our Airbnb. Let me tell you, she exceeded my expectations TREMENDOUSLY!! She arrived out our house around 3:30, let them have a longer potty break than I asked for, and made it to my venue ONE WHOLE HOUR before the wedding started. She went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for and got to and from the venue safely. I’m not from Destin, I was just in town for the wedding from Houston, but whenever I am back in town and need help with our dogs, she will be the FIRST person I call. She was so kind and friendly and she treated our dogs like they were her own. Words cannot describe how happy I am that I found Crysta. I think my dogs were just as happy, they loved her!! She sent me some cute pics too. Thank you so much Crysta!! You made our dream come true! ♥️”

About: Hello! My first name is Siena, but I go by my middle name, Grace! I am a recent college graduate from Colorado State University. I have owned and cared for both dogs and cats my whole life! I have absolutely loved every minute of it. What sets me apart is my dedication to understanding each pet's unique personality and needs. I don't just walk dogs or feed cats; I build a genuine connection with them, ensuring they feel comfortable, loved, and safe while you're away. I'm also committed to providing regular updates and photos, so you'll always know how your furry friend is doing! I am currently taking a class at the local community college only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so will have tons of flexibility in my availability on other days throughout the week! I will be able to make drop it visits, feeding times, and walks from 10am to 6pm on T,Th,F,Sat,Sun Pet safety and reliability is always of my utmost importance. From personal experience, knowing that you furry friends are safe, happy and healthy while you’re gone is crucial when looking for a new pet caregiver. Additionally, I promise to follow any and all house rules/ routines in my clients home as well as remain private and professional at all times.
About: I’m comfortable caring for birds, rodents, cats, and dogs of all sizes! I’m also able to tend to reptiles though my experience there is limited. I work for myself and set my own schedule. I am primarily a personal shopper and a dive master so I’m able to adjust my schedule to fit your needs. I think it’s least disruptive to animals when they can remain in a familiar environment. Therefore, I prefer to handle pet care from the client’s home. I am available for quick visits or longer overnight stays and I am happy to provide several references upon request.
About: Ive had dogs and cats growing up. My favorite was my best friend Charlie he was a white German shepherd. I trained him to do tricks. He was a very easy to train. He made me look like a pro. My schedule is very flexible. I do rideshare and food/grocery delivery on the side I can accept pet sitting last minute and I am also available during holidays. I would rather care for your pet in your home where your pets food, toys, and medication is and feels safe and secure in there home.
“Best cat sitters ever. I have never had to use a service like this before. Beyond impress. I was completely at ease knowing that both of my cats were in such loving and caring hands. The photos and notifications were so helpful and kept my mind stress-free. Will absolutely book again.”

About: I've owned dogs from a young age, ever since I was old enough, I took care of them as well. I have had dogs of all ages from a pup to their golden years, of all different breeds. I do have base access as well to take care of your military pets Currently at home from college so I'll have plenty of time should make multiple visits and potentially stay for extended hours as well. Making me a great option if you're leaving for an extended vacation as well. I am pretty easy going with my pups, but I will follow all guidance to take care of your pets the same way you would.
“I can’t say enough good things about Farrin! She has an obvious love for animals and such a sweet demeanor. She met me and Charlie before drop in visits for a week and he immediately loved her. She had great communication throughout, sent the cutest pictures, and I had such peace of mind leaving my little guy in her care. Don’t hesitate to use her for your pet. ?”

About: Hi there! I’m an Alaqua Animal Refuge approved foster momma! I treat every animal like they’re part of my family, not just a booking. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away — whether that means structured walks, playtime, or plenty of snuggles on the couch. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing because I know how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your best friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily schedule because I own my own business and work from home. This allows me to provide frequent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have the flexibility to step away when needed for walks, drop-ins, or special care requests, so pets receive consistent care without long periods alone. I adjust care to each dog’s personality and needs — whether that’s structure and patience for puppies or extra comfort and gentle care for seniors. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow routines closely and provide regular updates and photos so owners always feel reassured. My goal is simple — happy, comfortable pets and owners who feel completely at ease while they’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
