They had very much built-in play time with the resident dog, and bonded with humans and animals alike in ways we'd not heard of from new contacts since Misty was a puppy (seriously, the pics and descriptions indicated a level of ease, happiness and playfulness we see with them at home). At pick-up time, they were glad to have us visit, but didn't seem completely ready to leave, We cannot imagine a better experience for our pups. If we manage to come to Miramar Beach again, we will definitely try Alexandra again.”

We were heading to the beach for a portion of our vacation, and our condo did not allow pets. We needed her to be nearby and found David and Krysta through Rover. I chose her because I liked the fact that she loved cats (Kitty Kat Kuddles) and didn’t see cats as a secondary pet to a dog. She was so sweet and sent the nicest updates and pictures with each visit. She was dependable and professional with every visit. When we got home, Dottie was happy and we found a goodie bag with treats, a cat toy and the sweetest thank you note! This extra touch was so unexpected but such a thoughtful thing to do. About: I own seven cats and have fostered over 200 including at least 10 litters, including bottle baby litters. I've fostered cats only for around 7 years. I take care of kitty's daily needs, adoption events on Saturdays. I always have a foster in need, so I'm always needed always busy with them and mine. If location of home requires toll, that will need to be paid in advance. I feed, water,do litter boxes. I'll play for 15 min each kitty as well as pics and documentation for client. I clean up any accidents, if any. Grooming, when needed. Special care is taken care with those special souls. Geriatric and/or handicapped kittys the special attention they need and all my kittys get individual love and attention. I'll have little journal of what I do for your kitty everyday as well as send you pictures and/or video everyday.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. I’ve got experience with dogs, cats, puppies & kittens, reptiles, birds, and just about any other pet you can think of. I’m a stay at home mom of three. All my kids are in school now, and I have the time to do walks, quick drop-ins for potty and playtime, doggy daycare (must play well with others) and offer overnight boarding with a couple of reasonable requirements. Can’t wait to meet your fluffy, feathery, fuzzy, or scaly pets! I have two dogs that I let out in our back yard as soon as I wake up. They get fresh water and food, and when the weather is nice, a walk. We have a large fenced yard that they have access to all day. I uncover and let my parrot out of her cage, at which point she promptly hops onto my shoulder. I take my kids to school, with our two pups along for the ride, come home, make coffee and watch our big, fluffy cat flop herself off the sofa to go see if I’m refilling her food bowl, and then go about my day. Our home has a large fenced yard, in a private neighborhood community. Our pets hang out inside most of the day, enjoying the various soft surfaces to nap on, and have breaks for zoomies outside. I’m happy to accommodate whatever routines you have established with your pet, in your home, and accept any requests or special needs for your pet while in my home for boarding, or daycare. During my reoccurring visits, if approved by a pet parent, I like to leave a small notebook to write little details in about the visit. I also love sharing pics of your pet with you if you’d like those too.

About: I’m a passionate animal lover with hands-on pet care experience from volunteering at Alaqua Animal Refuge. Over the past few years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even bunnies, learning how to meet the needs of many different personalities and breeds. I’ve also been dog sitting and house sitting for the past year and a half, and I’m always excited to learn more and give every pet the love, patience, and attention they deserve! I currently have a job, but I always plan ahead and am happy to work around my schedule to meet the needs of your pets, being out of school I am more open . I value clear communication and will always be open and upfront to make sure everything is scheduled smoothly and your animals get the care they deserve. Please don't be shy to send different requests like helping out while you're on vacation with drop in's/ walks . I'm happy to help where I can when I can and don't be shy to send last minute request and I'll make it happen if possible!! Whether in my home but preferably in their environment, I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I focus on building trust through patience, routine, and attentive care, treating every animal like my own.

“Alexandra and crew (people, cats and a dog) were so welcoming that our two aussies were soon happy with their doggie vacation. They had very much built-in play time with the resident dog, and bonded with humans and animals alike in ways we'd not heard of from new contacts since Misty was a puppy (seriously, the pics and descriptions indicated a level of ease, happiness and playfulness we see with them at home). At pick-up time, they were glad to have us visit, but didn't seem completely ready to leave, We cannot imagine a better experience for our pups. If we manage to come to Miramar Beach again, we will definitely try Alexandra again.”
“Our dog Lady had the time of her life with David, Krysta, their boys, and her new best friends, Archie & Flash. We were heading to the beach for a portion of our vacation, and our condo did not allow pets. We needed her to be nearby and found David and Krysta through Rover. We got great pictures and videos of her time with the family, and their nice backyard and house was perfect for her. She was treated like a member of their family. In fact, when we got there to pick her up, she was trying to go back in their house and keep playing. :) So thankful we found this nice family to take such wonderful care of Lady!”

During the recent snowstorm, a rarity in this part of Arkansas, Pepper enjoyed the experience with Dakota's family her dogs.Will certainly bring her back for another visit when it's time!”

“Hi Eberyone, I had another really great experience with Rover and the dog sitter I chose. Barbara sent pictures and updates every single day. I didn't want to be the worry wart Mom but I guess I was. I was so relieved when I heard from her. The cool part is that the dogs met outside. Farley loved her two lttle friends right away. Never did the Mr Macho stuff he usually does around other dogs. I knew they would all get along great. I will recommend Barbara and Rover to everyone I know that boards their dogs.
