“Always takes the best care of our Sophie!! So sweet and loving to our pup, and considerate of us with her daily updates and being flexible when our plans had a major hiccup coming home. Would recommend to any/everyone!”

“Cheryl is amazing and took such great care of my fur baby! This was my pup’s first time being boarded, and she made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. Cheryl kept me well informed with updates, communicated consistently, and was incredibly accommodating. I’m so grateful to have had peace of mind knowing my dog was in such great hands. Highly recommend her!”

“So thankful for David + Krysta. They are now our top choice when we need to leave our sweet girl behind. We were updated daily with photos and her daily events--such a breath of fresh air to be out of town and know our girl is being truly being taken care of. Poppy had a blast playing in their big backyard, making friends with their dogs, and getting all the love and playtime with their boys. Upon picking poppy up, the kids even had their friends in the neighborhood come and say bye to her because they had gotten to know her--there was something special about that! We are going out of town again in April and I'm on my way to book them again now. Poppy has found her home away from home family and we are ok with that.”

“Juniper had a lovely weekend while we were away and Anna sent many photos from their time together. Anna was very communicative and accommodated our drop off & pick up times.”

“Jack and Jordan were fantastic! They were flexible with our travel times and were very attentive to my girls. They made them feel loved and welcome in their home, especially my skiddish one. Sweetest family with excellent communication throughout our trip. 100% recommend!”

“Renee is nice, her house is nice (although I didn't see the backyard so I can't comment there). She has several small dogs who played with Walter. She was good about texting pictures and communication.”

“Hi Eberyone, I had another really great experience with Rover and the dog sitter I chose. Barbara sent pictures and updates every single day. I didn't want to be the worry wart Mom but I guess I was. I was so relieved when I heard from her. The cool part is that the dogs met outside. Farley loved her two lttle friends right away. Never did the Mr Macho stuff he usually does around other dogs. I knew they would all get along great. I will recommend Barbara and Rover to everyone I know that boards their dogs. It was another fantastic experience. To top it off - he came home very relaxed. Which hasn't been the case at other times. Thanks again Barbara. Oh, and Rover.com for such a great experience.”

“Lina was great with my toy Aussie who is a bit of a handful! He requires lots of kindness & understanding as he is scared of everything! Lina did a great job at making him feel comfortable. She sent lots of updates, pictures and even a fun video! Will definitely use Lina again in the future!”

“Dana did a fantastic job taking care of Penny for us! We received photos and videos every day. She played lots of fetch and received lots of snuggles. We will absolute be back to Dana’s in the future!”

“Erik, is every mommy dogs dream, he was very attentive, flexible when I had a family emergency and rhe times keep shifting, he kept Rocko busy and he also got to lay in the sofa in "man camp" and watch football, I would definitely recommend him to anyone who loves their fur baby, and will use him again next time I'm in the Destin area, thanks a million Erik”

“She was so amazing with my dog I just rescued! He absolutely LOVED her and she took such good care of him while he was still recovering ❤️🩹 100% the best dog sitter I’ve had!”

“This was our first time leaving our baby. From my first conversation with Rosemary and meeting Matthew at drop-off they made it so easy not to worry. I would recommend them 10times over. Thanks so much for making my vacation!”

About: It's great to have a dog around!! From my first dog Cookie to boarding my Uncle's dog Fearless..well you just fall in love. Dogs force me to be the outdoor person I was meant to be..how can I say no to a walk?? I am super disciplined about feeding, watering, and any special needs. Can't wait to meet your furry friend... I am around most days and can be flexible depending on owners needs. I don''t require a lot of notice for walks, sitting, and or boarding. My home is dog ready..I have a fenced yard and a dog park close to me. Flexible accomodations..can have dogs run free in home..can crate if necessary. Fenced yard complete with turf grass. I live on a dead end street in a semi private neighborhood.

About: I didn’t grow up as a “dog person”—I grew up as a cat person. I was raised around cats (at one point, 12 of them: mom, dad, and two rounds of kittens) and dogs, with my dad mainly caring for the dogs. Cats were always my thing, and I never pictured myself as a dog mom. That changed about a year ago. I’m also a mom to two human boys under 10, and they wanted a dog so badly. I agreed to adopt—with the condition that they would be involved in caring for him. One day at an adoption event, I was holding a puppy… and the next thing I knew, I was walking into a pet store holding him like a baby and buying dog food. That’s how Jameson joined our family. Jameson is now one year old—a very smart, friendly Weimaraner–Pit Bull mix who loves other dogs, kids, and humans. After him, I confidently told my kids: one dog is enough. Joke's on me!. One morning, 5 months ago, one of my boys woke up and said, “I dreamed we have another dog. His name is Chris. He’s white with spots.” I immediately said no. A few hours later, we found Christopher, a white dog with spots who had been left behind near Walmart. And that’s how dog number two came home. Now the house has four boys—two human, two canine—and it’s honestly not chaos. It’s full of structure, routine, love, and daily trips to the dog park. I enjoy training, I’ve read books on dog behavior, and both Jameson and Christopher are well-mannered, social, and happy dogs. I’m patient, attentive, and very hands-on. I understand dogs as family members, not just pets—and I’m especially comfortable with dogs who live in homes with kids and real-life energy. Bonus: my dogs are bilingual. I speak English and Spanish, and yes… I can teach your dog Spanish commands if you want 😉🐾 Pet care isn’t something I squeeze into my routine — it’s already built into it. I’m a real estate broker associate, a full-time mom, and I homeschool my two boys, which means my schedule is flexible, intentional, and home-centered. Daily walks, playtime, feeding schedules, training, and supervision are part of my normal rhythm, not an exception. I’m a hands-on dog mom to two active, social dogs, so outdoor time, dog park visits, and balanced downtime at home happen every day. Because I homeschool, I’m present throughout the day and able to give consistent attention, structure, and companionship to dogs in my care. Routine and reliability matter in my household. Pets are supervised, engaged, and treated like family, not left alone for long stretches. Weekly, I stay consistent with training reinforcement, socialization, and monitoring each dog’s behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. In short: pet care fits seamlessly into my daily life — it’s part of how we live. I care for pets the same way I care for my own: with routine, attention, and respect for who they are. I stick closely to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and home rules. While I don’t have a patio, we’re five minutes from the dog park, and daily walks — including nearby nature spots — are part of our normal routine. Lots of supervision, movement, and love, always adjusted to each pet’s personality.
“Naomi is very caring with all her animals. She always sends updates with pictures and my little dog always looks so happy and comfortable in her home. I never worry while I am away and Jack is with Naomi because I know he is in good hands.”

“Jessica and her family took great care of my fur baby while I was on vacation. She fit right in and was hesitant to leave. Will definitely use Jessica again when I am in town.”
“Our dogs love to go to Sheila's house so much that we don't even have to put them on a leash when we get there... They just run to the front door. And we never worry about anything while our dogs are being cared for by Sheila. Her house is all set up for the dogs and she has a wonderful, large fenced-in backyard.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Miramar Beach
Katherine was the best provider for my Woo. She was very communicative, friendly and very loving towards my pup. She sent pics without me asking. I received 2 to 3 pics every morning, afternoon and evening, along with a note about what he and her fur babies were doing. She was always quick to respond and she encouraged me to visit or take Woo on outings. She always made herself available. I will always call Katherine when I'm visiting Miramar Beach. Thank you so much, Katherine, for taking such good care of my baby.
