“Alexandra and crew (people, cats and a dog) were so welcoming that our two aussies were soon happy with their doggie vacation. They had very much built-in play time with the resident dog, and bonded with humans and animals alike in ways we'd not heard of from new contacts since Misty was a puppy (seriously, the pics and descriptions indicated a level of ease, happiness and playfulness we see with them at home). At pick-up time, they were glad to have us visit, but didn't seem completely ready to leave, We cannot imagine a better experience for our pups. If we manage to come to Miramar Beach again, we will definitely try Alexandra again.”

“Chirs and his wife were absolutely amazing. My Sparta had a great visit and seemed in really good spirits when I picked him up. My dog being a senior I was very concerned about the kind of care he would receive. They immediately put my mind at ease. I love knowing that I have somone close by who's reliable and great with dogs. Sparta will definitely be back for more visits.”

“Gabrielle took amazing care of our dog while we were away on vacation. She even tailored special meals that would be more palatable for our pup due to medical needs. I would definitely use Gabrielle in the future.”

“David and Krysta are the best! They kept us in the loop updates and lot of pictures. Our pups looked so happy and spoiled the whole time! They were super flexible when my flight got in a little early and had everything packed up and ready to go when I got there. We would definitely book with them again!”

“Dana and her sweet family made our dog feel right at home. We are so lucky we found them! Nola was treated to all-day play with the family’s own friendly lab, trips to the park, and lots of attention. We are so grateful. Next time we need to travel without Nola, we’ll be reaching out. Thank you!”

“Juniper had a lovely weekend while we were away and Anna sent many photos from their time together. Anna was very communicative and accommodated our drop off & pick up times.”

“Ashlea took care of my dog Suki this past weekend after I contacted her on very short notice. We scheduled a meet-and-greet the same day I reached out. During our weekend vacation, she sent me several cute pictures of my dog with quick updates on how she's doing and settling in. I'm grateful I found her on Rover. We'll definitely be back for more mini-vacations. Thank you for taking care of our sweet dog, Ashlea & Family”

“Jack and Jordan are amazing! They responded promptly to my booking request, and were very conscientious from the beginning. When we dropped our dogs off, my Goldendoodle looked back over his shoulder at me like “this is so cool- thanks mom!” It was more like taking my dog to camp than boarding them. J&J’s house is comfy and yard is spacious. They sent really cute photos r reinforcing the idea that the dogs were having more fun than we were. Highly recommend and would trust with our pets any time.”

“Charlie was so incredible!! She responded quickly and kindly let us drop off and pick up at weird times because of our travel and vacation schedule. She sent several photos of our girl and purposely fed and exercised her right before the start of our long car ride back. Thanks so much Charlie!”

“Naomi is very caring with all her animals. She always sends updates with pictures and my little dog always looks so happy and comfortable in her home. I never worry while I am away and Jack is with Naomi because I know he is in good hands.”

“Lina was amazing! She and her sweet family took great care of our Yorkie while we were at the beach! We were updated regularly with photos and videos. She even bathed our Kiwi and put little pink pig tails in her hair before we picked her up.”

“Rosemary and Matthew were very responsive and my boy seemed to have a great time with their family. I really appreciated their efforts to maintain my dog's established schedule and rule following! Would definitely recommend/book with this family again!”

“My little chihuahua had a great time with Nicole, Scroopy, and their family! He typically gets separation anxiety but not with Nicole, he had lots of fun. Will definitely use her again :-)”

“I rarely need a pupsitter, and have a difficult time feeling comfortable with leaving our old girl, Cherry, with someone that she's not familiar with. Gabriella welcomed my husband, Cherry, and me into her home a couple of weeks before the scheduled stay and was so patient with us and open to learning about Cherry. For the actual pupsitting (Saturday/Sunday/Monday), the drop-off was seamless and communication throughout Cherry's stay was fantastic! I received many pupdates with videos and pictures. Our girl was treated like one of the family there, which we really appreciate. I recommend Gabriella (and family) for a top-notch loving environment for boarding. We will definitely reach out to her for any future boarding needs.”

“My family and I went on vacation to Destin and needed a last-minute dog sitter because our Airbnb wouldn't accept our dog. I contacted Megan, and she agreed to look after her with a wonderful, willing attitude right from the start. She inspired me a lot of confidence and, above all, peace of mind; I knew I had left Manola in very good hands. On top of the fact that my dog is an older dog with many specific needs—requiring medications and supplements—Megan said she wouldn't have any problem handling that, and she did an exceptional job. I’m sure that if Manola could speak, she would tell me she had a great time with Megan and Charlie (Megan’s son) at their home. I would definitely contact her again if I were to need her.”

“Eric is a great sitter. I never worry about Stella when she is in his care. Eric is flexible and easy to work with. He keeps me updated on her daily. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely amazing. I had a short notice trip and Erika was able to watch my two dogs. She was very flexible with the drop off and pick up and provided great communication during the stay. I will plan to use her again for future trips.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Miramar Beach
Chris and Jeanna were excellent caretakers for our two small dogs for a week. We have one rescue pup that is always nervous around new people and we could not believe it when Chris sent a photo our dog cuddling right up to him on night one. We received daily updates and photos. We were immediately confident that our dogs were in great hands. They are clearly very caring people who treat your dogs like their own family - we weren’t sure our boys were going to want to come home!

Katherine was the best provider for my Woo. She was very communicative, friendly and very loving towards my pup. She sent pics without me asking. I received 2 to 3 pics every morning, afternoon and evening, along with a note about what he and her fur babies were doing. She was always quick to respond and she encouraged me to visit or take Woo on outings. She always made herself available. I will always call Katherine when I'm visiting Miramar Beach. Thank you so much, Katherine, for taking such good care of my baby.
