About: In 2005 I started Destin Pet Nanny in Destin FL. I ran this business for 2 years until I got in real estate (in hindsight, wish I had kept it going!!!) The business was dog walking, dog sitting and dog boarding/in home overnight stays. Since then I have had 2 dogs - a Jack Russell Terrier who lived to 17 1/2 and then my havanese mix rescue I've had for 6 years. She is very very sweet and good with all other dogs. I spend most of my time with Maggie and don't like to leave her for any length of time so your pup would get that same attention. I rarely leave home for longer than 2 hours. My home is tiles throughout and i have plenty of doggie stairs and dog mats for the pups I live in Grand Sandestin in a condo. There is a large deck where Maggie and I sit out and watch sunset or just hang out and watch the people walking by below. All Baytowne/Sandestin area is dog friendly and a great place to walk the pups. Maggie and I live alone and she is a very sweet, loving dog.
