“Hannah is so amazing, responsive, and responsible. If there were 10 stars, I’d give her 10!!! My boys loved her and she took them on a fantastic walk. We will be having her help us again in the future.”

“I can’t recommend Alexandra enough! She truly went above and beyond while caring for our dog and cat when I was out of town and my husband was working 12-hour days. Our dog can be a bit high strung, but her calm demeanor helped him warm up to her quickly. She kept me updated every step of the way and sent plenty of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would highly recommend her for any of your pet care needs. Thanks again, Alexandra!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dog breeds throughout my life. Ranging from bloodhounds, German shepherds, to Belgian Malinois and others. I’m very familiar with working dog breeds and have trained myself own Belgian Malinois. No matter what need your furry family member needs, I will ensure it is met and exceeded. Currently I’m in the Army National Guard so I have tons of availability and free time to devote to animals and pet care. I also spend tons of time outside and hiking with my Belgian Malinois. I have a wooden fully fenced in back yard. I also am familiar with escapee dogs and am very quick to respond to many situations when needed. I am not afraid of confrontation so that is not a worry either.
About: I was raised on a farm in the countryside. We had cats and dogs among other animals. Many of these I claimed as pets. I've owned several dogs in my lifetime and into their older years and currently have two cats which they think they're human. These little animals are part of our families. This makes them of great importance and priority. Their care should be taken just as seriously as each other. Listening to their needs and watching their habits they communicate. I take great care listening to the sounds and movement of a pet to discern what they are trying to communicate that they need. Flexibility is important when it comes to pet sitting. My children are almost adults now so I have more time to care for another family's pets. I do not have the room for a pet in my home but I have lots of room in my heart to take care of your pet in yours.
“Paulina is amazing! She arrived on time and went above and beyond. He was excited to see her (as evident by his tail wagging excitement). She communicated every step of the way and we received pictures too! We will use her again and again!”

“Excellent communication! Flexible and punctual! I was visiting Sandestin and staying in an Airbnb. I couldn’t include my doberman in all the activities so it was such a relief Lucia was able to help me out. She listened so well to instructions for my still in training Doberman and handled her reactivity with confidence! I 💯 will be using her again every time I’m in FL!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Schyrita was absolutely wonderful with Stella and Viper! Knowing she was coming over to care for them gave me such incredible peace of mind while I was away. She was attentive, caring, and wonderful with both of my dogs, and I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her care. It means so much to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I would absolutely recommend Schyrita to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter!”

“Wonderful experience! Super communicative, reliable, and truly great with our dogs. We came home to happy, relaxed pups. Highly recommend and will definitely rebook!”
“Chris was GREAT with Maggie! She is a very shy, senior pup, but Chris was sweet and patient with her and won her over (a few chicken treats helped lol) I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to help with your pets!!”

“Jennifer is so amazing and patient with my shy dog. She takes the time to stop and sit with him when he needs a moment to be confident on walks and gives him the time to explore on their walks once he feels confident. She is great at communicating their progress and always on time which helps so much with our busy schedules. So blessed to have her!”

While you may miss your buddy terribly, you know they’re in safe hands with Madeline. Let your stress and anxiety dissipate with her services!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
