About: I have cared for animals for 20+ years and I have three years of professional experience working in a veterinary setting as an assistant for a doctor on the board of the Dallas Zoo, where we treated all types of exotics and household pets from monkeys to hyenas to anteaters as well as people's dogs, cats, rabbits, and more. I also spent 5 years fostering special needs dogs, as well as puppies, kittens, rabbits, and even a hedgehog! Having relocated to Philly and changing careers, I deeply miss taking care of animal companions! I have a cat and a big free roaming rabbit who are my babies, my housemates, and dearest friends, and in my free time I have a few neighborhood dogs I walk from word of mouth opportunities. I have experience giving medication, caring for seniors and special needs pets, and am comfortable with any level of caregiving for any temperament of pet. Whether you have goats, pigs, dogs, cats, birds, rats, rabbits, donkeys, or anyone in between, I'd love to be there to help support you and your pet's unique needs. I work evenings as a cook, 4 nights a week (which nights they are vary weekly), but I am always available in the morning, and I am very flexible around my work schedule, on days I am not at work, I am generally fully open! I am willing to work around the clock for your pet care needs! I do have a cat and a large free roaming access who have full access to my home, so if you have boarding needs, I need to be sure your pets do not have high prey drive, otherwise I will need to come care for them in your home! But my cat and rabbit are both extremely sweet and social and have been around all sorts of animals successfully. If I am coming to your home, just let me know your and your pet's needs and I will be there to assist and support in whatever capacity is needed!

Nico is amazing a true dog whisperer. We have two sweet girls but one has a little anxiety. We got home and she is so calm and happy. We had been looking for a dog sitter for our two dogs for a little while and couldn’t be happier with finding Ricky. From the first time that we met her, we knew she was the perfect choice for our dogs Tate and Penny. She took the time to come to our house for a meet and greet, and we spent so much time chatting about life and dogs, Tate and Penny and ourselves. Communications with her were very clear and timely, her pricing was very competitive, but more importantly was the way that she interacted with our dogs that made us feel so comfortable to let her stay in our home and spend the time watching our dogs. Both she and her fiancé, Joe know how to make the pups feel loved and provide the pets’ owners with the security that their animals are being taken care of safely. She provided us with photos daily. Ricky left our house very clean after spending the week here, and our dogs were clearly happy. We couldn’t be happier finding Ricky and Joe to help us when we needed them and we look forward to working with them in the future. We’d give them six stars if we could!!
Larry was absolutely fantastic! After another sitter canceled 4 days before our trip, Larry was able to be very flexible and help us house sit our two Golden’s for a week! He was very prompt during our meet and greet and during the stay, he gave us daily updates on our dogs! He left our house clean took great care of our boys while we were away! We will definitely be booking Larry for future sittings!
