As far as my daily schedule, I work from home except for Fridays when I teach all day. I’m also a musician and have late night gigs on the weekend from time to time. I can let you know a more detailed availability upon request!

I do not have a yard since I live in the city but I live close to Pretzel Park and the Roxborough dog park. Can’t forget all of the lovely trails around Manayunk and Wissahickon. If you prefer me to come to your home I can do that as well! I love to do lists and instructions and will do my best to make sure your furry friend feels as if you are still home with them.

Please let me know if your fury friend has any special needs or preferences I should know about. Will they take off when they see a squirrel/other animals? Are they taking medications? If they take medications, how well are they at receiving it? Do they get along with other animals? Do they have a favorite toy or activity? Do they have any quirks or silly things I should look out for? Etc..
Ein typischer Tag
I love taking dogs on walks especially on the many trails around Manayunk and Wissahickon. I make sure dogs get plenty of playtime with their favorite toys and that they get plenty of pets. They will get plenty of attention as well as respecting their boundaries. Cats will will get plenty of playtime and pets but only on their terms. I do my best to respect their boundaries.

I have been the neighborhood pet sitter ever since I was in high school (I’m post grad now so a very loooooong time). When I was younger I grew up on a farm and have always been surrounded by furry friends ranging from cats, dogs, chickens, horses, goats, cows, and even Buffalo. Even though I have a wide range of experience with caring for lots of different kinds of pets, it’s cats and dogs I love the most.

Lora was incredible with our dog! She made sure he was kept on routine while we were away and she communicated very well during the stay. I felt completely at ease with her watching our dog and staying at our home.
Lora looked after our GSP, Nala, and our home from for an extended period of 17 days and she was fantastic. She was polite, punctual, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Nala bonded with her quickly, and we really appreciated the regular updates and photos while we were away. Our home was kept in good order, and it was reassuring to know everything was being so well looked after. We will happily have her house and dog sit for us again. 10/10!
Lora was great. It was a short notice booking but she was accommodating with arranging a meet and greet before my trip away. I got pics of Lori and Darla in the yard playing, doing training and also of Darla waking Lora up in the morning 😂 Lora very kindly watered the plants and flowers in the backyard while she was at my house. Would definitely recommend and will definitely use Lora again.
Lora was a great communicator and frequently updated us and sent photos. We were very happy to have them care for our cats while we were away for 4 days.
