About: My name is Jennifer Martinez. My love for pets is what caused me to enter the pet sitting world. As far back as I can remember I have always loved and been around animals. I come from a dog loving household and have gained experience by watching the dogs of family and friends. I have studied animal care in college and have hopes to one day become a veterinarian. I plan to also receive my dog training certification in the near future. In me you will find someone that is loving, caring, patient, compassionate, and most of all hardworking. About: I have several years of experience with other people’s pets, both walking and doing short care visits. Much practice in caring for special needs dogs that require meds and injections, happy dogs, standoffish dogs, high energy, and low energy dogs. I love them all. I’m a mature, responsible adult, fellow pet owner, and parent. I’ll always treat you, your pets, and your home with respect. I can feed, water, walk, clean up after, hug, and talk to your pets and make sure that they are safely having their needs met when you aren’t able to be there. I can check on your cats, small animals, mail, and plants while visiting as well if needed. Happy to help out with the pups and household extras during my visits!
About: I started fostering kitten when I was around 5, and have fostered over 200 kittens with the local humane league. The last 4 years of my life were spent caring for my childhood cat full time who passed at 19. I'm great at dealing with cat personalities, I've seen all types while fostering, and I'm especially good with scared or shy cats, and great at caring for elderly kitties. I've had dogs all my life, one or two always since I was 10. All were big golden retrievers/labs, all quite big boys, but I love all types of dogs. I'm going to be available full time to take care of your pets. Until recently, I was taking care of my own elderly cat full time as she needed lots of care. Now I'd really like to help out other peoples pets with the knowledge and experience I've gained throughout my life. Give them a good pet and checkup every time I see them to make sure nothing hurts/stands out. I can do whatever else your pet usually needs too. I'm great at getting shy/mean cats to warm up to me, and I'm great at giving cats medicine.

Oh my god booking with her was amazing!! D. was very quick to answer the phone, and sent me pictures and videos of my dog Arthur. He got plenty of time playing frisbee and ball, and hanging out with the other dogs she was watching at the time. At the time of pickup, Arthur looked like he didn’t want to get back in the car to go home, he really wanted to stay! I always get nervous if I have to leave Arthur with someone I don’t know yet, but this was a BREEZE. My dog literally went on vacation. He loved it, it was awesome for me, and she had nothing but good things to say about Arthur. Thanks for keeping my heart calm when it comes to my puppy! 🩷🐾
Mai was wonderful with lily! The communication is top notch, as are the pictures and videos of our fur baby being themselves in a comfortable and loving environment. 10/10 definitely will recommend! It was wonderful to turn our brains off and know that our dog was in safe and caring hands while we were on vacation. Lily insisted we included her input as well for other fur babies that are curious: I had lots of fun, toys, treats, walks with sniffs and again the toy selection is something I’m going to tell my parents about cause I need that. I really like the lick mats, they were super stimulating too. I got to do doggy yoga and mastered the resting dog. I read allllll of my pmail too, while on dogcation!!
Jenn was sensitive to our dog's anxiety, especially since this was his first time away from home without us. He took to her right away and she would send pictures and updates to us. She accommodated our schedule when it changed and we were able to come sooner than planned to retrieve him. We are glad to recommend her to others and will use her again as future needs arise.
Cookie and Gracie really loved their weekend at Pat's. They got their exercise chasing squirrels and their senses stimulated by exploring her beautiful and fully fenced backyard. I loved that they came home tired and happy. Pat is really organized and explains everything thoroughly. She is willing to do whatever makes the dogs most comfortable and relaxed. Her house is set up perfectly and easily accommodates dogs. I will definitely call Pat again for watching my (spoiled) fur babies.
