About: My name is Jennifer Martinez. My love for pets is what caused me to enter the pet sitting world. As far back as I can remember I have always loved and been around animals. I come from a dog loving household and have gained experience by watching the dogs of family and friends. I have studied animal care in college and have hopes to one day become a veterinarian. About: I've taken care of dogs for over a decade from high energy (I have a border collie) to low energy (I also have a shih tzu), elderly, and everything in between. I'd love to make your dog's day by taking them on a walk or giving them an incredible play time. Same goes for your cats! Whether your pets love activity or simply want someone to watch them sniff in the backyard or hang on the couch, I'd love to bring a highlight to their day. Right now, Friday nights through Sunday are the times I have completely free to dedicate to helping take care of your pets. I'm hoping to add more times soon and options to board. As someone who searches for hours to find the right person to watch my pets, I know how hard it can be to trust someone new to take care of your fur family. We use clear, consistent verbiage for commands and always reward good behavior; lots of praise, treats, and even more snuggles. I love keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated, so car rides, errands, and controlled socialization are a regular part of our routine. I bring that same approach to caring for pets in a client’s home. I follow your instructions closely, keep your pet’s routine intact, and make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away.
