“Amanda was extremely helpful, attentive, and reliable when we needed to board our doggie, Gastón. She was flexible in us bringing homemade food for the 4 days Gastón would be staying with her and she gave me all of his things back in pristine condition. On the evening of our pickup, our flight was delayed by close to 1 hour, which pushed back our pickup time. She was extremely understanding when we communicated this with her. We offered to pick him up the next morning, but she shared that she is fine with us picking him up late that evening, which we definitely really appreciated! Also, Gastón gets dirty faster than other breeds, but Amanda kept him clean and he came back to us in the same condition we brought him at the start of boarding. Last but not least, Amanda shared updates with us for all 4 days, sending us photos of our lovebug and letting us know how he was doing that day. It relieved a lot of anxiety for us while we were away. We are extremely grateful for all the careful attention Amanda paid to our pup and will definitely be leaving Gastón with her again!”

I am the first person my friends turn to when they need a sitter, and have both hosted dogs in my house and stayed with them in their own. I also enjoy pet visits and walks! I work as a teacher, so most of my availability is on the weekend and during summer months, although I am available for evening visits or walks during the week. I have a large fenced in yard that is great for running and playing and live in a neighborhood ideal for walks. I have a large crate available, if your dog’s routine includes crating. My own golden retriever would love to be friends with and keep your pet company! While I allow pets on my furniture and beds, I will follow the rules established for your pet.
