“Oleg was wonderful to work with. He was responsive and took our dogs last minute when we had to go out of town for a funeral. Our pups had so much fun with his family and his lab. They both came home exhausted from lots of play time! We will definitely use Oleg’s services again.”

“I felt very good about the care I was receiving from videos and pictures. I felt max was in good hands and it showed a very well organised house with a fenced in yard in the back. I will definitely use him again. Thanks again”

“We are always glad to have Reese spend time with Bobbi and family. He receives impeccable care with every stay! We are truly blessed to have such a thoughtful caregiver for our Reese!”
“Happily rescheduled our vacation to make sure our dog could stay here again. He always comes back to me extremely happy, Charissa is like a second home to Cosmo, as long as she’s willing to have him I’ll always rebook with her”

“Brionna was excellent with my Gemma. She was patient and cared for her so well. My dog takes a while to get used to sitters and she did so good with her. Hands down the best sitter!”

“Amanda was very nice, it appeared she was kind to him, and Tweety seemed to be happy with his stay with Amanda and her family. The living quarters were nice and they were clean. She understood all my concerns and why I had them. I feel she is a good fit for Tweety and I. I feel comfortable with another visit. I feel much better today (December 2, 2025) since I was able get out and relax. This was a first for me getting out for a day and doing something for myself. Tweety seemed to be happy with the experience he had with Amanda and her family.”

“They were amazing, gave updates throughout the time my Rose was there. My dog is a rescue so she has anxiety issues but they cared for her needs very well. Will definitely be using them more often.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. Since 2017, I have been actively house sitting and caring for friends’, family’s, neighbors’, and other people’s pets. I have cared for a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to horses and other animals, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I am dependable, patient, attentive, and genuinely love getting to know each animal I care for. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime and exercise, extra patience and reassurance, medication, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you are away. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands. As a stay at home dog mom to my dog, Draco, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I am able to take them outside frequently for potty breaks, playtime, walks, and fresh air. I love having animals around and will make sure your pets get plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day! I am happy to follow whatever routine and preferences you have established for your pets. I understand that every animal is different, and I want to keep them as comfortable and consistent as possible while you are away. I am comfortable following crate training routines, feeding schedules, walking and potty schedules, medication instructions, and any other specific instructions you provide. I also have experience caring for neighbors’ animals and am comfortable handling different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. My goal is to follow your instructions closely and care for your pets the way you would!
“Tania and her family took amazing care of our Mac! We didn’t worry once during our time away, as we knew he was in great hands. Tania is a great communicator, and sent us many pictures of our baby throughout the weekend. When we got there to pick him up, he was in no rush to leave. What a great feeling!”

“If you're looking for someone to watch your dog for any period of time, look no further than De'Andra and Robert! They did a fantastic job watching our Pablo for the weekend, and they kept us updated every step of the way with how he was doing (including pictures and videos). I would absolutely trust them to watch Pablo again.”

“Both of our dogs were definitely sad to leave Megan and Vince. They provided such great care, were super communicative and sent so many pictures. We will definitely reach back out when we are in need to care for our dogs. I found such comfort during our trip knowing our dogs were in GREAT hands!”

“Angel was great! She sent pictures and videos to update us while we were gone and was quick to communicate. It’s great to know our little guy was well cared for while we were away!”

“Kara is the absolute best! She is great with communication, both before & during the stay, and she is very accommodating of my crazy Penny's never-ending energy! Penny loves going to stay, and loves playing w/ Kara's dog Kodiak!”

“Teresa kept my Bella for 10 days while I was gone for my wedding and honeymoon. She kept me updated with pictures and videos while I was gone which was great! When I returned Bella was happy and calm! Anytime I board her a the vet she is a bit wound up and upset when I get back. This wasn’t the case after staying with Teresa! Thank you for taking care of Bella!”

“Donna is wonderful, and our Sadie loved her and her whole family. I got to see pics everyday, had lots of communication and knew Sadie couldn’t be getting more love and attention. It’s so wonderful to know I have a loving home for our girl when we need to leave her I really can’t say enough about Donna. I would recommend to anyone who has a hard time leaving their furry baby! There couldn’t be a better place!”

“Lauren & Doug are the BEST! They gave my puppy all the love & care as if he was part of the family. This was my first time needing a dog sitter and using Rover. I would HIGHLY recommend Lauren. She sends the perfect amount of photos & videos throughout each day. I knew that my pup was having a great time!”

“Alexis is great! She communicates, sends pictures, is very flexible and I could just tell my girl Carmen felt like she was right at home. We will definitely ask her to take care of Carmen again.”

“Sowmya has cared for my dog multiple times now, and each experience has been outstanding. Her communication is clear and timely, and her level of care is unmatched. Even when I forget to provide everything or give full instructions, she steps up without hesitation and ensures the dog is well taken care of. My dog always comes home happy and calm, which speaks volumes. Sowmya is professional, warm, flexible, and truly treats every dog like her own. I can’t recommend her enough—she’s become my go-to sitter for a reason!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
