About: I’ve been walking my family’s dogs for almost a decade now - a high energy Brittany spaniel & a very large husky/shepherd mix. 7 years ago I rescued a German shepherd/pit bull mix (Layla) who I’ve trained extensively and take on daily adventures. Then, a year ago I rescued Dixon (a German shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix) and he’s been reactive to humans & dogs alike. I’ve completed extensive training in classes with him alongside professionals. I’ve taken that experience and can apply many basic training concepts to dogs of all sizes/ages. I’m currently available throughout the work week at any time (as an educator on summer break). As of September 1st, I will be available from 2pm into the early evening. Book early to save a spot right at 2! I know a wide variety of trails/walking spots in the local area, so your pup will always be enriched & happy! I make sure to carry some kind of dog deterrent (PetSafe SprayShield or Pet Corrector) in case of emergency, and try to engage in positive reinforcement training throughout walks. This looks like rewarding the dog(s) with treats when they check in with me, stay in a heel, or keep loose tension on the leash. Within your home, I’ll always change/refill the water for the dog(s) after the walk.

About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits…I love animals of all kinds. My mom became paralyzed and I walked and took care of her 2 senior dogs for about 8 years until they passed. I gave them oral medication, cooked their food, walked and groomed them. Then she adopted a puppy and I took care of him as well as trained him. I currently have 2 french bulldogs of my own. One is a hyper little puppy and the other is a calmer 5 year old. I love caring for pets whether they are my own or someone else’s. I currently work part time in home care until 2pm 4 days a week. I am available most afternoons. My schedule changes if a client is in the hospital and does not need care those days which gives me the flexibility to pick up more last minute walks or check ins. I have children so I cannot work all weekend but i can be flexible and am open to them. I am open to walking your dogs in your neighborhood or wherever you prefer. I am also open to check ins and feeding dogs or cats. I will do my best to keep your routine with them if that is what you prefer. I would like to know a little bit about them beforehand and any preferences or habits they have.

“Marcella saved my cat-I would give her 100 stars if I can I have 2 cats and one of them has seizure. She needs medication everyday so I invited Marcella for help. She said yes to this task and was able to accommodate the drug address method without any issue. And she did more than that. Another cat felt under the weather during our absence and it turns out he was in a very critical situation-urination blockage. Marcella stayed longer to observe him, called my vet, the vet she knows, Rover support, and ended up decisively brought my cat to the ER when I was not reachable. At that time she was told by Rover there's a risk that she needs to pay the medical bill (which is of course not the reality) but she still wants to save my cat's life. Vet told us he could die if we went to hospital later than we were. Luckily, with all the help, he made through it and now continuing enjoying his life. Even ER team took care of my cat, Marcella proactively commuted between my house and ER, bring addition information from the doctor and precise photos to us. she did everything I could even imaging, and much more beyond. I highly recommend her!!!”

We had her scheduled for three drop-in visits each day, and she was always on time and often stayed even longer than expected to spend extra time with our dog, which meant so much to us. About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’ve not lived a single day without having one or two dogs in my home. I have such a special place in my heart for dogs and no matter what kind how big, how mean, or nice it is I will make sure it is cared for and loved as much as it can be. I work part time at a nursing home in Medway, but my hours are not extremely long, and I have the flexibility to leave when needed to care for pets if they are located nearby. During the school year, I am a student at Bridgewater State University, so I will primarily be looking for pet care services in that area. My classes end no later than noon each day, which gives me plenty of availability in the afternoons and evenings, as well as in the mornings when needed before class. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like family. I love spending time with them, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention to make sure they feel loved and not ignored. My dogs at home and I spend a lot of time on walks and hikes. I also have a fenced in backyard where they can safely run and play. I am very comfortable handling larger dogs on leash and can manage any that may pull. When I care for a pet at a client's home, I make sure they have everything they need while I am there, like fresh food and water. I also make sure they get lots of playtime and attention, and toys to keep them entertained. I will ALWAYS follow every pet's individual routine and make sure they are comfortable, safe, and cared for at all times.

About: I have had and cared for dogs for 20+years since I was 10 years old. My husband and I adopted our golden retriever, Izzy in 2021. For 6 years I have been a volunteer and a foster at Forever Home Rescue in Medfield for the dogs that are brought up North weekly to find a home. We have fostered almost 30 dogs in our house & ONLY foster-failed with ONE, Pongo 🐶😊 I work a hybrid schedule currently and go into the office 2 to 3 days a week. I generally do not do week long boardings due to my work schedule, however it can sometimes be arranged depending on the week and our work schedules, so please feel free to still request! I have a fenced-in yard and two dogs, Izzy, a 5 year old Golden Retriever and Pongo, a 4 year old Lab/Weimaraner mix. They are both very sweet and happy pups who are used to sharing their home with dog- guests (whether boarding or fosters). When they were younger they went to daycare 2x a week and are well socialized and good with sharing their toys/beds/treats/etc. Pongo can be weary/protective the first time he meets a new dog and may give a growl or 2, but warms up quickly once he realizes they are friendly! Izzy and Pongo are both on the calmer side, and do best with dogs who will play/wrestle/run with them outside and then relax, lounge, and chew on some Benebones inside with them! Your dog is free to nap and hangout on the couch, dog beds, or our bed.
