“I'm so grateful for Iman! My senior dog got sick the day before my trip; she was flexible with the drop-off time so that I could get him to the vet before bringing him over. I'm always anxious about leaving my dog if he's not feeling well, but Iman is so attentive and communicative I had total peace of mind while I was out of town. When I picked up my dog he was in a great mood and his appetite was coming back. Thanks so much Iman!!”

“Mercedes and her family were the best caregivers I could have asked for! I had to leave my 9 week old puppy for 6 days and I felt so comfortable with the level of care she was provided. I got multiple daily updates and photos of my little Luna playing with Mercedes, her cute pup, and her children. They had all the toys, bedding, and comforts my puppy needed. I loved it and it made me feel very confident with my decision in booking, I was worried she would want to stay there forever. :-) Mercedes and her family were very kind, sweet, genuine people and I’m so grateful for them! I will 100% be booking with Mercedes again. Thank you!”

“I am so glad to have had the pleasure to meet Stefanie. I was in a real bind trying to find a last minute sitter for my dog Shelby. Although I was a bit nervous because my dog usually travels with me, Stefanie assured me that all would be OK. I left feeling totally comfortable and confident that I would be leaving Shelby in good hands. Except for a small hiccup in times, everything was GREAT!! I would definitely recommend and l, will for sure be using her again. Thanks Stefanie!!”

“This was my first time using Sharon and all went well. She sent photos and videos of Lily and took Lily on frequent walks. She was quick to respond to my texts. I really appreciate Sharon’s responsible and professional nature. And when I picked up Lily at the end of her stay, Sharon gifted her a bag of treats and toys and a thank you note! I will definitely use Sharon again.”
“My dog Buddy had the best of time with Janet. I would highly recommend Janet. Buddy was almost sad returning home. I received pictures during the stay which I really loved. Thank you Janet for making my dog feel at home and loved!”

“I recently had the pleasure of booking Kendra for a last minute weekend stay for my favorite fur baby Rogue. Kendra got back to me rapidly after I requested to book and immediately set up a meet and greet session in an area convenient for the both of us. She has very good energy and her natural love and care for dogs showed right away in how she greeted Rogue. She was very clear on her instructions for the weekend stay and sent ample updates and pics to make sure we knew that Rogues was being well taken care of during her stay. I would definitely book Kendra again, and felt that she did a wonderful job taking care of our dog especially with such short notice.”

“Kathy and her family were wonderful! She asked thoughtful questions on how to care for my dog. Kathy kept me updated on how Honey was doing during her stay with texts and pictures. She treated my furbaby like family. Highly recommended!”

“Tanisha was very attentive, quickly responsive (responds within a hour or less, even a lot of times during non business hours) and extremely knowledgable on small dogs, their temperaments, mood swings, traits, etc. Has a great, open, tentative schedule. Updates were overflowing and she also gave tips and advice on how to handle my 5 y/o shih tzu in my own home. She just made me and my pup feel welcomed and safe overall. We will be back soon!”

“Shani (and her kiddos☺️) LOVED on my pup while I was away. Shani was an excellent communicator and sent update photos and videos, too. I really appreciated such good communication and how well Lady was taken care of. When you see your dog smiling in the update photos, you know it’s real. I’ll be looking to book Shani for my next trip away.”

“Our pup was so well-loved by Patricia and her family. From the second she met our dog I knew she was in good hands and the regular updates and pictures she sent reassured us of that. Could not recommend her services more highly!”

“Best experience ever. I was extremely nervous about leaving my dog at first, but Latasha made me feel comfortable. She was able to accommodate my last minute booking and sent photo updates throughout.”

About: From an early age I have always had a pet at home, we got Peewee 4 yrs ago, recently we adopted 2 more, their family couldn’t take care of them anymore. Toby 8yrs old and Sebastian 10yr all 3 of them are loving and get along great.. We care for your pets as if they were our own. I work from home remotely so your dog will have me at home all the time. When your dog stays home with me, I will take them in daily walks 2-3 times a day. In the day time I walk them two times 2-4hrs apart and evening, I will walk them 1 more times 2-3 hours apart. I strive to recognize those and meet them through patience, loving interaction. After our meet and greet, I like to get well acquainted with your pet and make sure they are comfortable with me. Once I’m aware of their routines, needs, we are good to go! Constant communication, you will receive regular updates, including photos, videos, so Can rest assured that your companion is receiving top notch care and attention.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Midlothian
Iman is absolutely the best choice! This was my very first time boarding my babies on an extended vacation. I usually have someone come to my house and care for my babies. This time I chose to board them. So, my fur babies and I experienced this together! One of my babies I wasn’t concerned about at all. He loves everyone. However, I had a fresh puppy and my girl baby is not inviting to others. She was a rescue and is very timid around others. Iman was amazing in providing support to cater to each of my babies according to their personality. She provided communication throughout my vacation, and that is what helped me to be a lot more relaxed with my time away. Iman cared for them like they were her own and even sent them home with treats! I hope she knows we will be calling again! Thank you Iman for caring for my babies 🥰🥰

Danny was awesome. The person that was going to watch my dog for a week canceled two days before my trip and I had very little options. He was willing to do it very last minute. He provided me with lots of pictures and updates and always answered any questions I had throughout the week. I loved that he had a yard for her to play in, and she had plenty of company between him and his family so I knew she wasn’t lonely. On Christmas his family got her treats and toys and he treats them as one of his own. He helped me bring her bags in and out of the car and was very nice and courteous. Super close to home and I tend to worry a lot and I felt very comfortable leaving here there for the week. No issues at all, would definitely reach out to Danny again for my doggy boarding needs.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
