Weekday Care & Supervision I am home-based which means I am home throughout the day providing attentive, hands-on care. Dogs receive frequent potty breaks, meals on schedule, enrichment, and consistent supervision. This setup is ideal for dogs who benefit from structure, routine, and human presence rather than being left alone for extended periods. Weekend Care I am fully available on weekends and intentionally limit my schedule to ensure each dog receives quality, individualized attention. Whether it’s relaxed downtime at home, structured walks, or light outings, your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. Potty Training Requirement All dogs must be potty trained. If your dog is prone to accidents, diapers or potty pads are required to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for all pets in my care. What to Bring for Your Dog’s Stay To ensure a seamless and stress-free experience, please pack the following: 🐾 Food & Treats: Sufficient for the entire stay 🐾 Food & Water Bowls: To maintain familiarity and routine 🐾 Collar/Harness & Leash: Required for walks and outdoor time 🐾 Emergency Contact Information 🐾 Daily Routine Overview: Feeding, potty, sleep, and behavior notes 🐾 Medications (if applicable): Clearly labeled with instructions 🐾 Bedding or Blanket (optional): Familiar scent for comfort 🐾 Crate (optional but recommended): For rest and decompression 🐾 Poop Bags (optional) 🐾 Favorite Toys (optional): Comfort items from home Care Standards I intentionally keep my environment calm, clean, and structured. Your dog will be treated as a guest in my home, not just a booking on a calendar. Safety, communication, and your pet’s well-being are always my priority. A Day in the Life of Your Dog 🐾 Every day with me is thoughtfully structured with enrichment, movement, and affection, all tailored to your dog’s energy level, age, and personality. 🌅 Morning Routine • Wake-up and potty break • Breakfast served with morning Bluey cartoons for a calm, happy start • Light play or enrichment to ease into the day 🧠 Midday Enrichment & Play • Interactive play like fetch or tug • Mental enrichment activities such as funny sounds, sensory toys, or puzzle play • Plenty of check-ins, cuddles, and rest breaks 🚶♂️ Afternoon Adventure • Neighborhood walk for fresh air, exploration, and stimulation • Calm decompression time afterward 🌙 Evening Wind-Down • Dinner • Gentle play or enrichment • Relaxation time, snuggles, or quiet lounging before bedtime ✨ Weekly Enrichment Schedule ✨ In addition to daily care, dogs enjoy themed enrichment activities throughout the week: Sunday: 📸 Picture Day Monday: ⚽ Ball Pit Play Tuesday: 🎨 Pawcasso Paint Day Wednesday: 🌿 Aromatherapy & Relaxation Meditation Thursday: ⚽ Ball Pit Play or 💦 Pool Day (Summer Only) Friday: 🎉 Pawty Night Saturday: 🎬 Movie Night with Pupcorn On Sundays, dogs also enjoy longer walks for extra exercise. When appropriate and with owner approval, I may visit the free dog park down the street for safe, supervised socialization. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a calm, lounge-style day, I customize their routine to ensure they feel secure, stimulated, and genuinely cared for. My goal is not just supervision, but a stay that feels like a mini retreat. If you have any special requests, routines, or preferences, I’m always happy to tailor the experience. I’ve been caring for them since childhood and have gained extensive experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am certified in Cat & Dog First Aid through the American Red Cross and I also hold a Fear Free Pet Certification, meaning I prioritize low-stress, positive handling techniques to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and secure at all times. Your pet’s safety and emotional well-being are always my top priority. I spent two years working at an animal shelter, where I handled everything from socializing shy rescues to assisting with basic training and caring for high energy dogs. In addition, I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and dogs with special needs, including mobility challenges and anxiety. I am the owner of Salty’s Pet Services LLC, where I provide professional boarding, walking, and drop-in visits. Every dog in my care receives personalized attention, structure, and plenty of love. Whether it’s a cuddle session, a long walk, or playtime, I’m dedicated to making sure your dog feels at home while you’re away.
