Rio was in mutiple foster homes before we adopted him and we were not sure how he would respond to being in another new home while we were on vacation. From the meet-and-greeet to allowing Rio stay with her for a half-day prior to our trip, Susan went above and beyond to ensure that we, and our dog, felt comfortable before leaving him for an extended period of time. We knew that Susan and Rio had made a positive connection when the first thing he did when he saw Susan after the meet-and-greet was to jump into her lap to request belly rubs. Susan was always responsive with her communication and ensured that we received photos, messages, and video clips each day we were on our trip. It was such a joy seeing our little guy running, playing, and hearing all about how he went on walks and got to snuggle with Susan in bed at night. It gave us so much peace of mind to know that Rio was in a safe, caring home with someone who truly loves caring for dogs.”
