Alison & Phil were phenomenal sitters for my 12 year old Australian shepherd, Teddy! He stayed with them for 9 days while I was traveling, and it was such a comfort knowing what capable hands my boy was in, especially since this was my first time using a sitter. Teddy can be quite nervous around new adult men, but Phil’s gentle energy won him over immediately. At the meet and greet prior to his stay, Teddy excitedly ran between Alison and Phil, soaking up all the love and attention. They asked lots of thoughtful questions about his routine, preferences, habits, health, and personality. It was helpful to see the home and yard he would be staying in, and I liked knowing he was going to be the only dog in their care since Teddy isn’t a fan of other dogs. Their attention to detail and ability to put my anxious boy at ease so quickly were SO reassuring. While I was gone, I got daily pupdates with lots of photos, some videos, and a summary of what they’ve been up to. Initially, they sent a morning and evening update, but because everything was going so smoothly, we did just an evening update for the rest of the trip. There was a heatwave and heavy smoke from wildfires several of the days they had Teddy, and they adjusted his routine to accommodate and keep everyone safe. Pickup and drop off were also nice and stress free. All in all it was a 10/10 experience. I will absolutely be rebooking next time we need a sitter and cannot recommend them enough!
Barbara was a wonderful host to Tucker. We left him for the first time with her for two weeks and it was no problem. She kept us informed about how he was doing and sent some pictures too. She was gracious and lovely when our flight was delayed getting home. She has her own pup and sometimes will have more than one boarder which Tucker loved! Will use Barbara again and highly recommend.
Kati was great!! We had a great meet and greet with her dog. Buddy immediately took to her and we knew he would be safe and well taken care of. She gave us photos and updates and it was obvious that Buddy was comfortable in her home. We highly recommend Kati! Buddy stayed for the weekend and came home happy! It made our weekend away more enjoyable knowing he was in good hands!!
Ana and Mide took great care of our dog while we were out of town for 5 days! Ana had us to her home for a quick meet and greet. She asked all of the right questions and was so friendly and responsive. She sent pics and updates every day on our dog’s sleep and eating routine and we knew we were in good hands. Molly provided us such confidence that Birdie, a friendly lab without a lot of experience separated from us, would be safe and comfortable during a multi-day stay in Molly's home. And she was! Molly kept us informed daily on Birdie's experience in Molly's home, through photos and texts, and we were so relieved both for ourselves and for Birdie, who was clearly enjoying her stay, and learning so much about being around other people and dogs. When we picked her up, Birdie was certainly ready to go, but very much a happy camper. We recommend Molly highly, and will use her Rover services again!
