I lost my 15-year-old dog last year, and that kind of loss changes how you see pet care, and it's exactly why I take this seriously. Every animal in my home gets real attention, a consistent routine, and the kind of care I'd want for my own. My home is a calm, adults-only environment with a fully fenced yard to ensure safe outdoor time, and my neighborhood is a quiet tucked away pocket near Cedar Lake. While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.

About: I’ve always had such a strong love for animals both dogs, cats and more! I grew up with both cats and dogs in my family and have experience with animals of all ages including puppies & kittens and senior dogs and cats. I have experience in providing medicine, treatment, nail trimmings, and more to both cats and dogs in a gentle and careful way! I am very caring and will always make sure your animal is my #1 priority I currently work from home going in the office once a week so I have lots of flexibility to do drop in during lunch time, before or after work and weekends. Since I work from home I am always available at anytime in case of an emergency as well. I currently have two cats that I care for like they are my children (because they are!) both cats are rescues with very different personalities and comforts. Litter boxes are cleaned daily and deep cleaned weekly. They are fed half wet feed half dry food diet and fed portion sizes, not free fed. We have pet insurance so take them to the vet as we see fit - more than yearly! When I lived with my parents and their dog we would do daily walks/hikes and I also helped train him!

I'm working remote contract positions right now and my schedule is really fluid. If you have reliable internet, I'll happily work from your home so your pets will have more company throughout the day. Trusting your sitter is important, that's why I do everything possible to make sure they are happy, healthy, and secure while you are away so you can relax and enjoy your time away from home.
About: Caring for pets has been a big part of my life for many years. As a professional pet sitter and shelter volunteer with decades of experience, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable and loved while their humans are away. I'm also available on weekends and holidays, making it easier for pet owners who need reliable care during busy times or while travelling. I always do my best to accommodate scheduling needs to provide dependable care whenever its needed. Your pet's safety, comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure and relaxed while their humans are away. I provide a calm, caring and attentive environment where pets receive plenty of love, enrichment and supervision. I carefully follow each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions to make sure they feel comfortable and stress free.
