“Gabbie was a great dog and house sitter! We were out of the country for ten days and I felt fully comfortable having her stay in our home and watch our dog. We came home to an immaculate house and happy pup. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet care in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area.”

“Hannah did a great job! She cared for our babies like they were her own! She sent pictures and updates all throughout our vacation. We appreciate her and will definitely book again next time we need to go out of town! Thank you Hannah!”

“Gwen is prompt, knowledgeable, cautious and caring. We have a senior cat with diabetics and a need to get insulin injections twice a day. Gwen has experience and is confident enough to be great for his medical care. Luna our 17 yr old cat loves her. I’d be a repeat customer if we lived closer. As for now her support a few times a year is truly a lifesaver.”

“One of our dogs ending up being sick and leaving several messes. Nicole cleaned up all of the mess and kept us updated as to his issues and his behavior(not eating, moving slower than normal etc).”

“Oliver did a great job watching my pups. They are 14 and 6 months and they were well cared for. Our home was as well. We will definitely use him again. He did a great job communicating and keeping us informed.”

“Randi was excellent! My non-Rover catsitter was on vacation and I needed someone last minute. Randi saved the day! She made sure my cat didn't get stressed out and lonely while I was gone and greatly reduced the risk of him tantrum vomiting in my absence. As well as keeping an eye on some things around the house for me. I would not hesitate to call on her again!”

“My dog Isla loves when Maciyah comes to stay with her! She takes care to make Isla feel very loved and keeps her very busy. Definitely recommend Maciyah for any of your pet’s needs”

About: Animals have been a lifelong passion of mine, and that love eventually led me to a career in wildlife biology and conservation. I grew up with both cats and dogs and see them as members of the family! I began caring for family pets at age 8, and pet sat for neighbors, family friends, and clients in High School and college. After college, I worked seasonal field jobs as a wildlife biologist and pet sat in between field seasons. I adopted my dog Abby -- a sweet, social Black Lab Pitt mix -- 11 years ago and trained her using positive reinforcement, play and consistent socialization. While I'm not a certified trainer, I do have some hands-on experience with dog training and behavior support. I've cared for pets of all ages and needs -- from energetic puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs with mobility issues. I'm also experienced with administering medication (pills, oral syringes, and injections) and have supported post-surgical recovery and physical therapy for dogs recovering from CCL tears and tumor removals (Abby has been through both). I look forward to caring for your cat or dog as if it were my own! I am currently available to pet sit full-time and have a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday. I will update my availability regularly in my profile, to ensure it is up-to-date. Pet parents can text or call me at any time to check-in and I will happily provide text and photo updates. In your home: I will meet your pet where they are at depending on their age, energy levels, comfort and mobility. I will provide them with affection and will encourage them to move their bodies with some play time or a walk. About my home (Doggy Daycare currently paused): I live in a cozy 3-bedroom 1,000 sq ft bungalow on a fully fenced double lot -- perfect for pups to play, explore and relax safely. My neighborhood in Wyandotte has lots of walkable, dog-friendly routes, and we love getting outside. There are lots of durable, safe dog toys on hand (approved by Abby, the Toy Destroyer), as well as extra dog beds and cozy blankets for lounging. I am flexible and happy to make adjustments in my home to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. My husband works from home a few days a week, but will be in his office and will not be assisting with pet care. I will be fully available and present with your pet.

About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, I’m here to make sure your pup gets the love, attention, and exercise they deserve. Whether it’s a leisurely walk around the neighborhood, playtime in the yard, or overnight snuggles while you’re away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m reliable, communicative, and passionate about creating a safe, happy experience for both pets and their humans. Let’s get your tail-wagging adventure started! I am a college student and looking to have something to do in my free time. My availability is almost completely open so hopefully this works well with your family needs! I will not be boarding any animals in my home, due to having pets of my own and want the best for both of our animals.

About: Open home with no children or other animals. All sizes of cats and dogs welcome! I hope your baby likes fun and affection because this is the place for it! I've had pets most of my life, and enjoy having happy wagging tails and purrs of contentment nearby. Pet families welcome too! Pet sitting fits seamlessly into my weekly routine, providing a meaningful way to blend responsibility with care. Each visit is thoughtfully scheduled to ensure consistency, creating a sense of comfort and safety for the pets. I prioritize secure environments, always double-checking doors, gates, and feeding instructions to protect their wellbeing. My growing knowledge of animal behavior helps me recognize what each pet needs, whether it’s a calming walk, playtime, or quiet companionship. This attentiveness brings peace of mind to pet owners and happiness to the animals, making pet sitting not just a task, but a fulfilling and trusted part of my week. When caring for a pet in someone else’s home, I prioritize trust and respect in every action I take. I understand that I’m being welcomed into a personal space, and I treat it with the same care and consideration I would expect in return. I follow all instructions closely, from feeding schedules to house rules, to ensure the pet remains comfortable and routines are maintained. I respect the home by keeping it clean and secure, and I always communicate openly with the owners, providing updates for peace of mind. Above all, I build trust by being reliable, thoughtful, and fully focused on the wellbeing of both the pet and the home.

“Cheyenne was awesome! She was prompt on short notice and seemed to know her stuff. We felt very comfortable leaving Bella and our home with her. She sent updates and plenty of pics (which I really appreciate). Bella got meals on time and walks and cuddles. I will be using Cheyenne in the future, no question.”

I have trained countless litters of puppies and I can teach yours to poop in a designated area if given the opportunity! Let me help you and your furry family! I am a full time pet caregiver so my entire schedule revolves around you and your furry family's specific needs. My routine is your routine 😀 We have a fenced in back yard in a quiet neighborhood with all elderly and respectful neighbors. I am extremely attentive and intuitive and will be able to almost speak to your babies in an animal whisperer way! This fosters a safe and fun environment

About: I used to work with dogs at a dog daycare when I was 19 and it really was the way I learned for my passions for animals. I really enjoy other animals as well as I’ve learned from my most recent endeavors with volunteering at a bird sanctuary in my home state and helping my grandmother raise and train her dog. I’m also no stranger to stepping in to care for cats and even pet rodents! I’m currently working part time at a breakfast cafe so I’m usually home in the mid afternoons and plan to spend a good chunk of my days doing rover services. I am very observant and wont follow or corner any of the pets I care for but I can keep a good eye on them without making any animals nervous. Safety is very important to me for both me and the pet I’m looking after.

heather L.
“Heather is an amazing animal care giver. She fostered our American Akita for several months while we were unable to keep her with us due to housing. Our girl was taken care of and loved in her house, and if you know anything about American Akitas, they are aloof and their own personality, and Heather made her so happy. Heather has also been able to begin to work through the walls that our small dog has when it comes to people. She is scared of all people other than me due to trauma from her past. Heather has received a few kisses and gotten a pet or two in, which is far more than any other person has from this skittish dog. I would trust her any day with my fur babies.”

Erin F.
“Erin is something of an animal whisperer. Whether she is around dogs or cats, they instinctively feel loved and safe in her presence. It is almost as if they react by saying "OMG, where have you been all my life? I think I love you, and I know you love ME." Erin is gentle and kind with animals yet knows how to get them to do what she wants without using harsh methods ... ever! My 12-year-old cat, Lola, is extremely sensitive to everything and everyone, and she immediately bonded with Erin, and always looks forward to her visits, as if she is being bathed in love and warmth when sitting close to her. Lola is not a lap-kitty, and although she is madly in love with my husband, it has taken her 12 years to be comfortable sitting in his lap! She has been able to sit closely next to Erin without any discomfort. Erin knows to let Lola come to her, and meets her on her own terms. They get along beautifully! I give Erin the highest recommendation.”

Cheyenne was fantastic! Book her! She was attentive and loving with our golden babies and stayed in our home for a few days looking after them! She’s super clean, great communication, very respectful and one of the sweetest humans I’ve met, your dogs will love her. I will definitely be booking again anytime we’re out of town, she did amazing!
Very Happy with Nicole! She was early for our meet and greet, prompt with my questions and requests and sent pictures while we were gone. Even though the Akita was a bit stubborn while we were gone (she wouldn't come inside), she handled it well. It was good to know our fur babies were in good hands.
