Charlotte was absolutely wonderful with my dogs, Mabel and Marty. She stayed at my home for 10 days while I was away, and I could immediately tell when I got back that they had been so well cared for. They were calm, happy, and clearly engaged while I was gone — which says everything. Charlotte is incredibly sweet and attentive, and she went above and beyond in every way. She kept my house completely spotless, left the kindest note, and even had calming music and a dog channel playing on the TV when I arrived home so the dogs were comfortable and relaxed. It was such a thoughtful touch after a long trip. I felt totally at ease knowing my dogs and my home were in such great hands. I would 100% trust Charlotte again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone truly caring and responsible.

Sylvie did a phenomenal job caring for our anxious, shy/fearful pup last minute! She was able to accommodate 2 meet and greets which made our pup comfortable ahead of her stay. Sylvie asked thoughtful questions about his behavior and care requirements and listened to all of our nervous parent requests. She has a calming demeanor which really helped with our nervous guy. Sylvie had no problems administering medication, was sure to send updates throughout the stay, and was very communicative about everything. We feel so lucky to have found her!

Eric took excellent care of Koda while we were away on vacation for seven days. He was very communicative, respectful and followed Koda’s care instructions very carefully. He sent regular updates and confirmed time of arrival and departure which also made me feel at ease while we were in the midst of traveling. He also took good care of our house, leaving it super clean, if not cleaner than how we left it. When we arrived back home, Koda seemed very comfortable and content. I would absolutely book with him again and recommend him to anyone else looking for a trustworthy sitter. Plus Koda was happy to make a new friend :) thanks again, Eric!

Andrea was able to accept my request at the last minute as my sitter canceled on me. She was quick to respond, sent plenty of photos and was very communicative. My dog was so happy and comfortable with her that when we got back, she didn’t really payed attention to us, but was by the door sad when Andrea left. I will definitely be booking again with her.

Maciyah was SO wonderful with our baby Nala. We had just rescued Nala 3 weeks prior to having to leave for 5 days and were nervous to leave her, however, Maciyah was so great with her. She made us feel so much better about leaving her. She sent lots of pictures, gave our girl good cuddles and played with her and took such great care! Would absolutely recommend Maciyah to anyone needing help with their fur baby and Nala can’t wait to see her again.

About: I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats as well as smaller pets like hamsters and fish, so caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I currently live with three cats and am very comfortable with feline routines, personalities and special needs. I also have experience with small and large dogs; from growing up with a Chihuahua to caring for an American Bulldog, so I understand how different sizes and temperaments require different approaches. I am attentive, patient, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. I currently work Tuesday-Saturday in the afternoons (typically from 3:30pm-8pm with the occasional later nights). I am available in the mornings for check-ins, quality time, play time, feedings, and walks and I'm happy to help pets start their day calmly and on a schedule. I communicate clearly if my evening availability changes and always prioritize routines and consistency for the pets in my care. Safety, trust and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in your home so pets can stay in a familiar environment, keeping their routines consistent and minimizing stress. I follow all feeding, walking and care instructions closely, maintain a clean and calm space, and pay attention to details to ensure your pets safety and well-being. My goal is to make both you and you pet confident and relaxed while you're away.

About: Hi, we're both animal lovers who grew up with great pups! Theresa grew up with golden retrievers (Magellan and Rowan) and A.K. grew up with an Old English Sheepdog (Seymour). We both have experience with dogs from puppy to senior. Growing up, A.K. also dogsat for multiple families in his neighborhood. Theresa is a runner and would love to (with your permission) take your dog for a fun walk, jog, or adventure to the dog park. If your pup is more of a couch potato, A.K. will be their best friend. Our friends and family have lots of dogs so we're comfortable and familiar interacting with various breeds of dogs (Pugs, Poodles, Shiba Inus, German Shepherds, Bernedoodles just to name a few). **We require a 2 night minimum for bookings besides for repeat clients** We both have some flexibility to work from home and are organized, diligent, and honest. Due to the nature of our careers and just having built a house we know how key customer service, safety, and communication are and we're always available by phone, email, text, app, etc. Our home is close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit and we designed it with our future dog(s) in mind! We have a dog wash in our mud room, a fenced in back/side yard, and a dedicated lit, sleeping/crate space on the 1st floor under the stairs (kinda like Harry Potter!) Our home has central air and all flooring is tile so any fluffy dogs will stay cool during the warmer months.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old, growing up around dogs and learning early on the responsibility, patience, and love that comes with proper animal care. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, bathing, administering basic care, and providing plenty of attention and affection. I’m comfortable with most breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I understand that every pet has unique needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around pet visits, walks, and feedings to ensure each pet gets consistent care and attention. I’m organized, dependable, and mindful of routines, so I make sure pets are cared for on time—even on busy days. I enjoy building pet care into my routine and prioritize maintaining a calm, familiar schedule for each pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. In my home or a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and house rules. Heather is an angel in every sense of the word. She is the type of person that restores confidence that there is still kindness and good nature in our world. I received some of the cutest photos of my 11 year old pit bull in complete peace while she was caring for him in our home. She went well above and beyond to care for him, getting extra treats from the store when we ran out and just really being there with him the way I would have if I had been home. I had the most stress free time away with my family because I knew Floyd was in good hands from the moment we did the meet and greet. The house was sincerely spotless when I came home too. I cannot cannot recommend Heather enough!!

About: Hi! I’ve fostered both dogs and cats throughout all four years of college, including caring for sick pets and administering medications when needed. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—so much so that my family genuinely thought I would grow up to be a veterinarian. I’m currently a medical student and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I treat every animal as if they were my own and truly love providing a safe, calm, and affectionate environment for them. I have a flexible schedule and spend much of my time at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent care, walks, and attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening routines, and I keep my schedule light when I’m caring for a pet to make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I live in a cozy, clean apartment in a very walkable area near the DIA. My building is extremely pet-friendly and even offers dog treats in the lobby. I provide a calm, safe environment and give each pet plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I follow owners’ routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, so your pet feels comfortable and at home.

Cheyenne was very kind and respectful in my home and left everything clean. She was sweet and thoughtful, including leaving me a small gift, which I appreciated. We did need to coordinate around her later work schedule, which was different from what my dog is used to. While that required some extra communication, everything worked out, and Nani became comfortable with her quickly. I was especially happy to see Nani open up to Cheyenne and seek out affection, as she is usually timid around strangers. Overall, Cheyenne was pleasant to work with. I would recommend confirming schedule expectations in advance for dogs who need regular evening care. She is caring with dogs and does a nice job helping them feel comfortable.
